Insecure: The End (2021)
One of the best series wrap-ups ever
I loved this series wrap-up/ documentary. Make sure you have a box of tissues ready because as a fan of the show there will be lots of tears. I loved Insecure and learning about an experience so different than my own (and yet we are all the same in so many ways). Love!
United States of Al: Promises/Wadaha (2021)
Incredible
This is an incredible episode!
I cried most of the episode, and felt so much watching this episode. It caught me a little off guard because United States of Al is a sitcom, but I love a lot of Chuck Lorre shows, and know well that part of what makes them so amazing is that they do bring the tears along with the laughs. This episode alone is worth watching the show and I immediately told people to watch. This episode will be my top pick for an Emmy. But more importantly than an award, I will remember this episode for days, weeks, months, and likely years later.
Never Have I Ever (2020)
One of the best written shows!
I watched all of season 2 in less than 24 hours, just like I did for the first season. It really is one of my favorite TV shows right now. Mindy Kaling just knows how to write modern guys worth swooning over and I related to Devi so much. I adore all of the characters, the entire cast! I am in my mid 30s but I am addicted to this teen drama.
Fleabag (2016)
Clever Show
This show is clever and beautiful. I love it!
Fleabag is sometimes cringewirthy and yet you still root for her.
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019)
As perfect as a reboot can get
I loved this movie! If you love Kevin Smith movies then you will love this! Tons of great cameos and references.
Robin Hood (2018)
Stopped watching an hour into this movie
I stopped watching an hour into this movie and now want my first hour back. I hardly ever stop a movie midway through, only the second or third time ever for me.
Christmas Joy (2018)
Overall very good
Danielle Panabaker and Matthew Long are two of my favorite underrated actors so I was really excited for this Hallmark movie. Sadly, there is still the whole theme of the female lead should quit her job to follow a guy. At least they had good chemistry and it causes happy feelings.
