My parents put a television in my bedroom when I was only 12 years old in order that I didn't disturb their own TV viewing. From then on until I left home at 23 I watched many films shown on the four terristial channels available on my little black & white TV. I don't like going to the cinema and never do as I find having people around me extremely distracting when I'm trying to concentrate on the film. (Also, I never enter a building that doesn't have a bar.)
I like films that are made like a play, the best example of which is Hitchcock's 'Rope'. I've no interest in 'action movies' and my favourite director is Ingmar Bergman.
