The Last Kingdom: Episode #5.7 (2022)
Had such high expectations for this season
I have loved this show, but I have to stop watching now. It's so disappointing and inconsistent with the character development in previous seasons. Uhtred is now dithering, and weak. Way to kill a true hero-- the changes are so obviously contrived to fit with the changing narrative today. Nothing makes sense. The ridiculous dialogues, plots and scenes, one after another, just keep coming. I must stop watching now. Since the producer is getting credit for the scripts and story, and she also is producing the movie-- I'll skip it too. I will remember the first 4 season which were superb in plot, acting, scripts, stunts, casting, costumes/makeup, sets, and cinematography. What a great historical fiction it was, and that's how I will remember it. I won't remember how it was butchered and corrupted like many things in these dark days. I know what is truly heroic. I know the difference between men and women, good and evil. Nothing Hollywood or TV, or streaming video platforms, or social media apps can change the truth. The days of these lies are numbered. One day in the not so distant future, it is the lies being forced on the common man now, that will not be remembered. The names and faces of liars will be forever gone, never to be thought of again. Eternity is a long long time. It's time for everyone to chose their destiny.
The Last Kingdom: Episode #5.3 (2022)
inconsistent?
Here is brida trying to kill U' daughter, and she castrated his son but that's all okay, just let her go. What? This makes no sense.
I'm a huge fan but I've been spoiled by great writing, great acting, really superb characters. That is not this.
The Last Kingdom: Episode #5.2 (2022)
writing has gone downhill
Brida's has become a one dimensional or no dimensional character. There is no story for the daughter, no character development. Brida just goes around knifing everyone and cackling. How and why did she become a religious fanatic?
The monk son appears out of no where castrated. ? Where is the story? Beheading, castration, cutting throats, a story does not make.
Back for Good (2017)
obviously fake rating
Movie is not even a D grade
