The Next 365 Days (2022)
Why do people keep putting this on the top 10 Netflix movies?
It's weird to see that all the 365 days movies have between 2 and 3 stars yet they keep coming up on the "top 10" every time one of them comes out. Maybe lonely girls are giving too much attention to this movie but please stop. There are already enough cringey productions lately. Stop hyping up the movie then complaining why there is another one. As long as you watch and talk about it there will always be a next one. If you are just there for the x scenes there are other websites that are made for that. Even there the acting and scenarios are better than this.
Gönül (2022)
Boring.
I don't understand why this was in the top watched list on Netflix in turkey.
Another comment on here said ""no matter what the opinions are about it, you should watch it because it has achieved the most important goal in art, which is enjoyment."" Which Is exactly why I was struggling to finish the movie. No matter how "artistic" the movie is, There was Zero enjoyment. The story is boring. The way most characters are weird/ "quirky" became annoying and cringey at some point. I'm not into musical movies so I had to skip the music parts. The story is not unique or anything. The overall theme is basic and it has been done a lot in turkish movies/ series.
Prison Break (2005)
Will always have a special place in my heart
Prison break was airing when I was around the last year of elementary school/ first year of middle school.. It will always make those who watched it when it came out very nostalgic. I am not American, I watched it dubbed in french with my cousins. I miss those times were the family would all gather in front of the tv to watch a series after waiting for a whole week for that episode. We also bought the DVDs for the 2nd season.. I was probably not supposed to watch it at that age but no one cared anyways. Everyone at school was talking about it. Posters and interviews of its stars were ALL OVER teen/ starts magazines. I miss those times. I did rewatch it again few years later. But seeing this series will always remind me of the good old days anyways. (I did not watch seasons 3/4/5. I loved the series too much so I didn't want to ruin it for myself)
Breaking Bad (2008)
I will never forget this
I watched this 1 year ago. And until this day I just can't get over it. I don't know how to describe that feeling where something is so good that you live in its universe and forget your own life while binge watching it, then once it's over you are like "wth just happened??" .. but yeah.. This series is amazing.
50M² (2021)
Perfect
Perfect cast, perfect plot, perfect music, I was so into it and binge watched it in one sitting. I'm just disappointed that they ended it with a cliff hanger without making a second season... I Really hope it is coming soon.
Askin Kiyameti (2022)
YOLO clichés (what some people in these comments are calling deep, haha)+ illogical funny ending +suddenly changing the movies whole genre in the last 5 minutes ? wt.?
People who call this movie "deep" are so funny. They're probably the kind of people who never opened a book in their lives. The cliché Yolo-love-yourself-and-listen-to-your-heart quotes that have been all over self-help books and motivational speeches for like the past 10 years made me roll my eyes.
Half of the movie is just a close up of Pinar singing (the lip synching was TERRIBLE most of the time). Her voice is nice but only fits one specific type of slow/ indie/ calm music. The worst part of the movie is definitely her cover of Mor ve otesi's "Cambaz". It was like hearing chalk squeeking on a board. What was that?
Their friend (the third wheel guy) is just unnecessary tbh. His character has zero depth, his singing is average, and his acting is even more average (like, he was smiling during a scene where he was supposed to look irritated/ sad .. at around 00:50:12).
The ending doesn't even make sense. But it's funny how They changed the movie's whole genre and turned it into a ghosts movie in the last 5 minutes. It was supposed to be emotional but I cringed so hard.
The genre of a movie should be picked from the beginning, or at least halfway through. You can't make a movie a 'realistic' romantic drama for 1h30 then literally change the whole genre in the LAST 4 MINUTES (they're exactly 4 minutes, i'm not even exaggerating).
That makes the whole last 30 minutes of the movie absolutely illogical (I mean come on. How can a person imagine covid, wearing masks, people talking about covid news, while he was in a coma/dead before covid? What?) and how did they imagine a whole story together involving living people (borrowing a car from a guy, her dad coming in her way) while they were both already dead? If she died during the accident, way before him, how did she imagine going to therapy, how did he join her in her imagination, and how did he 'imagine' the covid lockdown and people wearing masks lol.
Don't Watch This (2018)
The title couldn't be more accurate .
Too much cliché and cringy gore supposed to be 'scary' I guess .
