The Warning (2015)
You have got to be kidding me.
So, a while back I decided to look and see if there where any movies that take place in my hometown, Manitou Springs, CO. Turns out, this came up. I bookmarked it on Amazon and decided I'd take a watch someday. Today was the day, and holy cow was this bad. Now, there was a satanist epidemic here in the 70's and 80's. Go to the heritage center, and they'll tell you all about it, but this was just terrible. There where sacrifices, but they practically stopped after 1990. The "rural" spots they went to? A good minute hike from the trail in Garden of The Gods. I've been to mostof those spots. The acting is another thing. What in the sweet jimmity heck were they going for? At parts, it's like a comedy. At others, "Saving Private Ryan (Bootleg Chinese Version)" I know high schoolers that are better actors than that. Reminds me of that one Nick Cage movie, "U.S.S. Indianapolis." Except that one told a story based on a real event and not based on something from 50 years back.Minus 7 stars for quality. Minus 1 star for disrespect towards the area.
American Masters: This Is Bob Hope... (2017)
A very good representation
This is the perfect example of a documentary. It shows us Bob Hope, so that a person that has never even heard of him can understand his life story completely (such as me). It helps to piece together the story of this amazing man, and it even made me cry at the end, which is very hard to do. 11\10
Sharknado (2013)
Well...
This is a movie for sure. Every movie has its ups and downs. You know the thing about this movie. It's almost self-aware. The more recent ones take themselves to seriously, but the original is so stupid. It doesn't care about what's possible, and what's not. It just wants to Sharknado. This is a "so bad it's good" movie, reminiscent of Attack of The Killer Tomatoes. Perfect film for film students who want to know how to have more WTF moments than all the seasons of Lost combined.
Zaat (1971)
Better than some
This is a movie for sure. There is nothing to memorable about this, but let me try. This is a movie about a scientist who turns himself into a fish person to kill people. I'm no Bio Major, but this ain't adding up. The first five minutes is narrated stock footage of fish. I think Shark Exorcist stole this. The premise of the movie is stupid. If the guy wanted to kill people, why not just buy a gun. Also, why not test the serum on other people first? "Oh! I finished my serum. I'm boning to inject it in me with 0 testing. This will go perfectly." The fact that this was on the Fright Night app thing is so weird too. The only thing that works are the technical aspects.
The Garbage Pail Kids Movie (1987)
Eh.....
The only way I can commend them is that they made a full length feature film. Nothing else bout this is relatively acceptable. I seriously hope that somebody makes a remake simply so that I can see what a good version of this piece of crap. I hope this goes to the same place as the Star Wars Holiday Special and the Oogieloves. Kill me already. There is nothing else to say about this stupid movie. Dumb plot, ugly robots, scary visuals, and more!
