You Can't Ask That (2016)
amazing insight into amazing people
This series is important in that it shows how different and how similar we all are at the same time. I was often amazed how often members of the 'minority' group with the same attribute, when asked the same question, would usually all have different responses. I laughed, cried, sometimes cringed and was often surprised ... and more often than not, I would be reflecting on what was said a long time after I viewed the show.
Diary of an Uber Driver (2019)
quietly funny and thoughtful
Great little show which is funny at times, poignant at others. What a crazy mixture of customers. It was fascinating to see the development and/or background of the characters.
The Interviewer (2012)
Perfect and needed
This film is so needed. This film should be shown in schools and business conferences as it illustrates how ability comes in make shapes and forms.
The Lion King (2019)
we loved it
Our family loved it and the experience was heightened by many people in the cinema singing the songs and people cheering at the end!
Ghosts (2019)
Hooked on the first episode
This BBC comedy is comprises crazy dead characters, a renovators nightmare of a building and desperate (and endearing) new home owners. It works. Great comedy for the family.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019)
Fun, funny adventurous family movie
Even our reluctant teenagers loved it. I am not a big fan of the Dora the Explorer series, but some of my kids have been. Some of my boys were reluctant to watch the movie (but it was a better option to doing homework and housework), but they admitted afterwards that it was pretty good.
It was entertaining, fun, funny, a bit over the top, but that made it even better. A few surprises through the movie helped too.
Hard Quiz (2016)
funniest quiz show
Funniest quiz show. Amazing contestants with the most bizarre areas of expertise almost as smart, funny and unpredictable as the host.
