Actually pretty good

I almost discarded it because of the bad reviews, glad I did not. Acting is very good, it has some humor and it is a lot more believable than most apocalyptical movies.

Nice special effects, 1 start is because of them, but the plot is just total nonsense. The world unites to send troops into the future, but the when the guy comes back with the toxin that could stop the war from ever happening, the entire world goes crazy, everyone starts to riot cause the world will end in 30 years? What kind of bs is that? Not to mention he had the toxin in his hand all through the fights and temporal jump and it did not break, what was that vial made of? Titanium?

The Alienist (2018–2020)

Season1 ending, just intolerably stupid

Key to success to catch a killer... send the police force to stake out some random place while a guy with only one hand and another one that managed to get beaten up several times during the show, go confront the killer. The arrogance of this doctor know it all has no limits... no wonder the team made more progress in the investigation in the episode where the good doctor was too busy drowning his sorrow to attend.

Many said it was brilliant, except for the end. I think it was the end that was truly brilliant. Humans feel entitled to have it all, we are superior, we were here first... but what if that's not true? Melanie is willing to sacrifice herself, till she understands that her kind are also living creatures. After, she does what every living creature would, make sure her kind survive. Of course the ending is unrealistic, the teacher would not survive in that airlock and her capabilities to educate would be limited, but the concept is thrilling... human kind needed ages to evolve from neanderthal to what it is today... how far can these new little neanderthals evolve, being subject to an education from the start?

The show is good, one of the best so far this year, just that for me it was difficult to watch because of KW. But I'm glad I did watch it till the end, the show was too good to miss just because of one actress.

Don't understand why so many bad reviews

I've started this movie with almost no expectation based on critics and viewers reviews. It was supposed to be badly acted, too slow, unfinished... but, I found none of the above. The movie has two major events, one in the beginning, one at the end, the rest can seem indeed slow and boring, but I think that was exactly the point, whatever happens in the arc between the beginning and the end it's just life, little moments, which I found were very well put together to imply that life goes on and it does not have to be extraordinary every day. It was what made the movie very realistic. As for the ending, without giving too many spoilers, I will just say that I think it was quite clear, even if the authors did not spell it out for us, the message was there, one look to freeze him on the spot for the time being and one left wide open door for him to come in eventually say quite enough. The entire movie was less about words and more about acting and I think the actors did a great job acting it.

Tired of Morgan

Not a good end of season, not a great season overall, seemd rushed towards the end. I was not a fun of Madison or Nick, not sorry they got lost on the way, some of the new characters are better, but making everything about Morgan is just annoying. I fast forwarded most of the seson finale episode, can't stand anymore to watch scenes with just Morgan or Morgan and crazy lady, what was the point of that? Morgan the saint? A converted man? Please... it's boring and totally unrealistic. You want to prove you would do anything to help your friends, than stay with them don't go chasing crazy people. Not looking forward to Season 5, unless they loose Morgan and concentrate a bit more on the other characters.
