Devilman: Crybaby: Crybaby (2018)
two words, one phrase: SUX.
Text: It's so bad, it's actually, beyond bad, it's surprisingly bad. It's worse than bad. It's worse. It's worse than worse. It's worse than worse than worse. It's just bad. And ion like it, i just don like it, it's weird and vague and ion like it. It's just bad, it's bad. It's whatever you wanna call it, bad, bad bad,, whatever you wanna call it, it's bad. Just bad and i just hate it man i hate it. It's bad. It's just bad, ion like it. Wow this is long i have to write 130 125 120 characters uhh... it's bad.. did i mention ion like it? Ion. It's just weird and vague and ion like it. It's just bad. It's bad. Did i mention that? Oh my god fingers are hurting. It's so long.
The Idol (2023)
They made a movie about god (e: it wasnt)
As a weeknd fan, this show breathed life into the invisible mysterious character, voice and lyrics I have been reading and listening to for the last 12 years, so I enjoyed it very much.
They perfectly embodied "the weeknd" as "Tedros", but that's not enough to rate the show as a whole just yet because I've only seen two episodes. The first one was a very subtle take off, subtle hints, sublte climb, the second one layed some interesting foundation for a promising, grand plotwork. Nonetheless, it's still not enough for me to say, 'YES! THIS IS IT!' I'm still at "this could be..!".
Rating for later.
Oemojisangjuui (2022)
It's beyond words
I expected a dull depiction of a fat short kid who becomes skinny and attractive and starts going out with attractive girls, has everyone falling for him while some people grow suspicious of his behavior and investigate and now he has to untangle himself from the mess to save his social life and maintain his new identity. Very cliché bs.
But instead, i found a very touching realistic authentic genuine developed and original storyline. It really makes you appreciate goodness and kindness in people and see the ugliness of cruelty and experience the temperature of the world depending on what cards you were dealt.
It was very emotional from start to finish all the way through. It's easily my favorite anime and is a must watch if you haven't already. It's a beautiful journey.
Chainsaw Man (2022)
i was hoping for a deep anime judging by how it started but it turned out to be an unfunny parody of itself
It's really weird overall. A main character who is entirely based on wanting to touch boobs? It was funny at first... but then they made it a whole thing, it got old pretty fast and eventually it just started to sound ridiculous. Especially when they try to make it sound normal and pull it out in what youd imagine to be a dramatic or emotional scene. "you saved me... after... i betrayed you... my breast is yours"... Could you be so detached from creativity? What are the writers scared of? Based on how the show started and the theme it was anticipated that it would be something realistic. I expected some relatability in terms of what drives a human being and how a person reasons. Why would she join the devil hunter association just to get her hands on one person? You can just get one in a dark alley.. youre a heartless demon remember? Also you feed a cat for months just to eat it? Are you a farmer? If i had the motivation i would write a whole list of reasons why the plot could use some real thoughts from a creative or self aware person. The whole script sounds like a first day therapy session transcript.... sustained by unfunny jokes and scared to go into anything serious.
Big Mouth: I F**king Hate You (2021)
What a chique song
Just came here to talk about the song, nick kroll has a really fitting voice. And also, i like the lines created between missy and nick.
Overall, 8,5/10 episode.
Shingeki no Kyojin: From You, 2000 Years Ago (2022)
something doesnt click
This girl, Yimir has been doing her job for 2000 years and all of a sudden eren comes along telling her it's time for change and barely even elaborates and she's like say no moee, no hesitation, no shred of doubt, she gives him full power and control after summoning a...a flying centipede(?) to resurrect him. It just feels like the show went off leash for a few minutes before being held back in control.
The Boys: The Instant White-Hot Wild (2022)
they messed up when they turned billy against soldierboy
Idc if somehow homelander's fatherhood kicks in and he miraculously reconnects with his son in five seconds or if they spent a season doing something just to undo and start over, but billy teaming up with homelander? While he had the option not to? While he finally reached the perfect moment to end him? Why?
The OA: Overview (2019)
Far from how bad i thought id be
At first, at the beginning of season 1, I thought to myself : theyre just adding more and more loose ended mysterious weird visuals and plot lines, they could never put it all back together, and boy i was wrong. I'm not certain if they put all the pieces back together but it was enough to enormously satisfy my brain.
The Legend of Korra: The Last Stand (2014)
Good stuff📈
Despite having ups and downs in quality, the show met a great ending episode. Korra seems to have finally learned some real life wisdom this time around as shown by her ending conversation with the engineer girl, unlike her first two season finale battles which is much appreciated by the audience. I appreciate the whole show. Thank you for this beautiful workpiece.
BoJack Horseman: Feel-Good Story (2019)
so sad in a good way
The show is becoming more and more realistic as the characters deal with real problems, without the luxury of being over the nose rich.
It's just sad that they cant get everything.
Like diane said, either you dont get everything you want, or you get everything you want and then you dont know what you want.
Your Honor (2020)
Love it it's like breaking bad all over again
It's got that breaking bad fever i really like it.
It's really good and really not bad
Busanhaeng 2: Bando (2020)
loved it
Very engaging from start to finish, anyone can die which makes it even more interesting and realistic.
I noticed people saying 'plot holes' but i havent seen any other than maybe the indestructible cars which isnt a big deal video games always do that.
Although one thing i cringed about was the americanization, they were kinda trying too hard. if i were them i would make the americans in the movie speak korean.
i think bad reviews are dragging out more bad reviews cause it really wasnt that bad, most streaming website ratings give it like a 7 on average.
Ive seen mad max and this is soooo much better.
The Midnight Gospel (2020)
Uninformed, Average IQ rambling
I feel like they made this to appeal the average iq, or the script writers themselves have a very very mediocre knowledge about what they write
There's rarely anything truly philosophical or scientific about it, it's just made to feel like it does for those who know little about both
just average minds rambling about topics they dont seem to really know anything about
Basically like reading quora(with exceptions of course)
I'm disappointed that there's so many good reviews the same way i get disappointed when orange man gets elected. It makes me feel lonely, because i know no one chose to be stupid.
The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Ok what LOOOOL
8,6/10? Really?
It took me months but i finally finished this movie!
Why did i take so long?
The first five times that i opened it i passed out cause they all sound like they're giving lectures when they talk(and most of the film is people talking miserably attempting to sound poetic).
The fifth time i played it i just stopped cause It felt wasteful to watch a movie where everyone is guilible like a 14 year old, and Hannibal is like a 16 year old bully.... who hurts their feeling with his pointy words and makes them do very intelligent and not dumb at all things like... Convincing a guard to release him? Lmaooo whaaat (the funniest scene was when they strapped his body head to toe to a chair and he still managed to snatch a pen 10 feet away from him... like ok what, at that point I was checking if I was watching the parody version)
My imaginary girfriend made me watch it.
And i did a research to find out what was special about it cause i really wanted to like it man, cause i wanted to understand my imaginary girlfriend's taste... like i really hoped she didnt just like it cause it's mainstream... cause that'd mean she's stupid and id have to break up with her..... OR the second scenario is that that im blind to some element of art that 90% of people can perceive, which would be strange cause normally i'm only blind to the 89%.
So i went a head and did the research and ... apparently, what phases people is, hear this, "the peculiarity of the characters". You know? With the whole eating people and using almost 16th century theatrical phrases to describe simple things, that no one would use in real life.
So im like ok thats it!
THAT'S what im missing!
Im not really impressed by their words... Youtube comment sections have more resonance and cut deeper.
Not phased by their immorality......cause have you even seen what animes are up to?? They make eating human flesh look like ghandi.
So basically this movie only appeals to snowflakes and feathers who are easily phased by immorality....
Maybe ill read the book, cause my imaginary girlfriend, even though i realized that ill have to break up with her now cause she follows trends, she's still not the least artistic person on the planet.
OH AND!! The serial killers are too scientifically incoherent in their behavior, which makes it hard to take them seriously... anyway the whole movie was a joke.
THANKS FOR LISTENING PEOPLE!
Hannibal (2013)
cute but Unrealistic
I like themes like this, big fan of serial killer movies but this one is just unrealistic.
Scientifically and... even mere logically incoherent.
To be honest, at this point, might as well give the detective actual superpowers and put it in the fantasy genre.
Sex Education: Episode 6 (2020)
I love drunk OTTIS!!!
A TRUE SAVAGE!!.......
My brain was going YIBJBX XZLIJK
Lucifer: All About Eve (2019)
It's cute and all but she's just not doing it for me....
I like how they brought eve back into the show and all.... and it's actually pretty cool...
BUT
I dont like her. She's an idiot. She's like the rest of Lucifer's one night stands. You know? like the ones we get to see in one or two scenes where they're saying something stupid.
Except, dear old EVE is in almost every scene of this episode and she's ALWAYS saying something styoOpid.
I expected more maturity from the very first female that ever walked this earth.
Both mental and sexual maturity.
I mean she acts like a middle schooler, I wouldnt go for her in my sleep, so i cant imagine how Lucifer, the devil, would ever fall in love with her.
UNLESS he just REAALLY liked boning her.
In which case, i agree she has a nice body.
Might as well just mute her, and make her twerk through out the entire episode instead of giving her crappy lines.
You: Love, Actually (2019)
Insanity isn't that pretty after all
This last episode shows how quickly Love looked ugly in Joe's eyes when he realized she was broken.
Had we followed the show from her perspective, we would have seen Joe as ugly as well, when it came to the point where it's revealed that he's a killer/broken.
Does this mean broken people cant be loved? seriously ! Wont ever be the same.
The Perfect Date (2019)
If youre 18+ you will love it
After watching "to all the boys ive loved" and feeling immensely underwhelmed, this movie rescued me and saved my night in solitude. DUDE THIS HAD ME CRYING AT ONE POINT.
THEY ARE BOTH EXTREMELY WITTY, DUDE! seriously what more do you want?
To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018)
I LITERALLY CREATED AN ACCOUNT JUST TO GIVE THIS 0 stars
Unfortunately 1 star is the limit.
I'm pretty sure this movie was meant for 15 and under years olds, if you're under fifteen, iss cool. You're in the right place.
This movie sounds like a middle school love story played by adults. If you cant see it, you have an emotional maturity of a 14 year old.
"You sat next to beth instead of me, dont ever talk to me again !"
*gets back together five seconds later*
Also, the asian chick what's her personality you ask? well she doesn't have a personality she's just a... creepy? VERY boring, a girl with a bunch of crushes and fantasies, who fu**ing knows. (had to censor the word, since you cant possibly be over 15).
Her friend, the weird one would have made a much better main character, cause at least she has a unique personality.
The Twilight Zone (2019)
Okay I donno why so many people don't like this show but I looooooove it
I looooove it.... Which leads me to the conclusion that people really do have different tastes... As in.... Some people have a crappy taste and others have a really good taste...
