Changed my mind
15 April 2022
I really liked the first episodes but then I realized the stories were chosen less as an interesting story and more for political correctness. And even if that was the plan, SURELY there could have been individuals that fit their mold who had more interesting stories. The reenactments were cute but the stories were so ordinary after the first couple.

Different And Entertaining
9 April 2022
I wasn't sure if I would like the show. But it is just so different from everything that is out now. This is reality that is truly unscripted and so entertaining! Everyday people tell true stories and are engaged by Ed and Randall to encourage them along. Funny reenactments add to the story and just make it an entertaining experience. I think the low ratings reflect how unusual this show is and that, if given the chance, the show could really become a huge success.

I Tried To Care...
6 April 2022
Characters were abysmal. Story was slow and plodding. The accent? Really bad. We watched three episodes trying to care about the story or characters. I'm truly puzzled why the ratings are this high for this thing.

Writer's Midlife Crisis Fantasy
26 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The characters in the show are very well thought out. Other than George Turner - who instead of buying a convertible decides to move to New Zealand. The writer of the show he's living out some midlife crisis fantasy that he has. Turner moves to a tiny Town inNew Zealand where you can't Swing a dead cat without hitting a horny desperate beautiful woman who can't believe the fortune that they have in this one single middle-aged man showing up. Everywhere he looks there's a beautiful woman dying to go to bed with him. He makes a living riding one short column a week and then runs all over the town- An innocent babe in the woods. Why, he's not even looking for a girlfriend because his wife just died less than a year ago. Within a month he's on the prowl with five opportunities begging him to like them. If that wasn't unlikely enough, his two children are ready to get all sexed up to and that's OK with George just as long as they still like him. Spoiler alert: Contraception isn't his strong suit and he might have gotten one of these young things pregnant. Here's hoping he has explained the birds and bees better to his children. Speaking of the children, they lost their mother less than a year ago and by all accounts it was a perfect marriage and family. It takes them only about a week of disappointment in their father to be totally OK with him screwing everything that moves. This could've been a really great show and to label it family entertainment is ridiculous.

Attempt at Artsy That Never Makes It!
18 January 2021
Madonna has never been an actress. That's really not in question in this movie either. She's a media draw. The movie tries to be dark and artistic. It ends up dark and... Something. The acting is okay but the characters they play are all mixed up in their real-life personas, their characters in the movie and the characters in the film. None of them are done well.

Worst ending ever
1 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I guess the writers thought we were all wanting Paw Paw to get with his younger EMPLOYEE. Wrong. She's a sniveling rediculous kid (who is supposedly grieving her pregnancy). "I will never love you as much as I do my baby" Oh puhleeze. They teased that the audience would get the ending they wanted. Maybe they meant that the audience would want It to end. Thank God It did. Gross!

Julianne Moore's accent ruins it!

That's it. Nails on a chalkboard! Listening to that awful exaggerated Boston accent could be used as torture! Ridiculous.

Doesn't work
18 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Look, I hate to be that guy. But this attempt to make Ms Simpson into a poor woman who was forced ( by...?)to marry Edward and tried to get out of it, is ridiculous. Um how about "No Edward. I won't marry you." That poor poor woman. Writing letters for pity to the man she's divorcing? The biographers irks very hard to make her look like the victim here but it doesn't work

Waste of time

Poorly filmed and poorly written. I was so disappointed as the premise is a good one.
