I don't understand all the negative reviews. The acting was real good in this movie. I watched this movie and was not familiar with Sophie Turner or Corey Hawkins. I have never watched The Game of Thrones which I found out Sophie Turner stars in. The film is about survival after a plane crash but it is more than just that. Jane who is portrayed by Sophie Turner in the film has had suicidal ideation for a long time. She is just checking out of a mental treatment facility and getting on a plane to go home. She still has suicide on her mind. She meets Paul played by Corey Hawkins at the airport. When they first meet little do they realize they will be helping each other out in so many ways. I have said enough. I don't want to go in too detail about what happens in the film. It was very moving for me. I connected with Sophie Turners character in the film. And I'm sure a lot of people who watch this film will. The movie is beautifully filmed also.

Batman is not hiding in the shadows, he is the shadow. I patiently waited to see this movie on the big screen and I was not disappointed. It was a very good Batman movie. I have seen them all. And it is a different version and I'm glad. I loved Cat woman in this version. Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz were awesome as the bat and the cat. I hope there will be another movie. I didn't think it was too long. I thought the length was just right for the film. The Riddler was really creepy. I loved the costumes also and the music. It is a very well made film.

I ran across this movie on Starz. I had never heard of it. I knew from the age of the film that it was an early film for Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. Both Washington and Crowe were excellent in it. Crowe plays a killer on the loose and Washington is sent out to get him. I love Crowe's portrayal of this insane futuristic killer. Crowe's character is sort of comical as well. I was very entertained watching it. Louise Fletcher has a part in it also. I thought all the actors were great in it. I definitely recommend this one if you haven't seen it yet.

Mortal is the best movie I have watched in a long time. Love the scenery in the film. The plot was excellent. I like it because it was refreshing. I can't think of another movie that it is similar too. It is unique. The acting is way above average. An American wakes up in a forest and you can see he has been burned. You can see there is a portion of the surrounding woods that has burned. And you can't stop watching. I knew from the trailer it would be suspenseful but I didn't realize it would have romance in it as well. Very well made film. The special effects were great also. Everyone who made this movie ought to be commended. Without giving anything away there were times watching it I felt different emotions. The story is based on a Norse myth. It is a fantastical tale but highly believable in the storyline. It is not a super hero movie or a fairytale. Just good smart story telling.

When I watched the trailer for this movie I thought wow I need to see this. Haven't saw a good sword fighting movie in a while. The Swordsman didn't disappoint! I loved the plot about a partially blind father who raised his daughter up in the mountains away from the world. The daughter wants to live as foster child and wants more material things than the father can provide her in the mountains. She ends up getting kidnapped. Her father will fight to get her back. I do not need to say more. All the characters were well acted. The sword fighting scenes were awesome! I highly recommend watching this movie.

I had high hopes for this movie. I popped the popcorn anticipating a suspenseful movie. Well it unfortunately didn't turn out as I had hoped. It started off pretty good and then died towards the middle. This character Bree in the movie turned out to be very psychotic. Kristen Bauer did do an excellent job of portraying a crazy lady in this film.The other actors did a great job in their roles but the story could have been better. The story would have been better if Bree had made Tracey the wife more jealous. There were extra characters in the movie that weighed it down. It is not the worse movie I ever saw even though I found myself wishing it would hurry up and end.

I read some the reviews and I do agree that Adam Green's Frozen is better. This film is watchable though. The dubbing was really bad in some parts more than others. One of the characters in the film was a bully when the going got tough. I found this particularly interesting. And you have to remember these were teenagers, not real mature yet. The plot was good. The mountains and the winter conditions were beautiful. A couple of times I was on the edge of my seat. It wasn't too bad for a survival type movie.

I finally watched this series on Netflix. I agree with a lot of the reviews about it being enjoyable to watch. I didn't really pay attention to the accents. Just enjoyed watching the series and waiting to see how the plots would play out. What I didn't expect was the ending. I felt like it left me hanging.

I couldn't wait to see this movie when it was available to rent. And I finally did this evening. I heard it received bad reviews. I really don't understand that. It wasn't all that bad. I enjoyed watching it. I was a big fan of the Fantasy Island show when I was young. So when I saw the trailer for this movie and saw it had a horror type twist to it, I was curious about it. It kept me entertained. And without giving anything away I wasn't expecting the way the story went and I liked the ending. I thought it was highly entertaining.

I don't understand all the bad reviews. But I have watched similar movies and enjoyed them too. I thought the movie was paced just right. There is some gore but this is more of a psychological/horror movie category. I thought Michael Welch and Lin Shaye did a good job in this movie.

I've been watching a lot of horror movies lately. I like to do this around Halloween. I had never heard of this movie until I was looking at Amazon Prime video specials and decided to rent it. When I saw it was written by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods and produced by Eli Roth, I watched it right away. It is a slasher movie. Haunt is original. This is one reason why I gave it a high rating. The plot was good. I thought the acting was great. And it kept me on the edge of my seat. There are very creepy bad guys in this movie for sure. You won't be disappointed if you like these types of film.

I am surprised at all the negative reviews about this movie. I just finished watching it this evening. Dennis Quaid played a psycho in this movie and he was great in this part! I think Michael Ealy is a fine actor. Yes it is predictable. But that doesn't mean it wasn't entertaining. I enjoyed watching this movie. It was great actually. It was suspenseful! I thought it was very well acted.

This movie was a great retake on the classic. It was a modern version and I really enjoyed watching it. The acting was great. The film had beautiful scenery also. Listen carefully. The music is awesome.I am glad I happen to come across this movie. I will add it to my go to movie list for Christmas time.

This film correctly portrays back in the late 1800's how most people felt about Indians and unconventional women. Some of the timeline is inaccurate, but it doesn't take away from the story. I honestly didn't know much about Caroline Weldon before I saw this beautiful movie. She had to be incredibly brave to travel west as she did to meet Sitting Bull. There is a lot more to her character than the movie had time to show just as there is a lot about Sitting Bull's life that wasn't shown also. Caroline Weldon took her young son with her out west and Sitting Bull had a family. This omission doesn't take away from the story and the obvious close friendship Sitting Bull and Caroline developed. And for the viewers information this film isn't your standard shoot them up western. It is about how Caroline Weldon came to paint portraits of Sitting Bull. Caroline Weldon was a very unconventional woman for her time. She was openly hated for being friendly with the Indians on the reservation. The acting was spot on in the film. Jessica Chastain was amazing as Caroline. Michael Greyeyes as Sitting Bull was incredible. All the other actors gave standup performances. The film is beautifully shot. It moves along at a decent pace. I'm so glad I watched this film.

Without giving away spoilers, it was refreshing to see a film with a familiar theme but with a twist. I thought the acting was great! The pacing was good. I never became bored watching it. I just don't quite understand the negative views.

I decided to write a review on this 1974 Texas Chain Saw Massacre tonight as it was on my mind. I've seen it several times. Earlier this evening I watched Texas Chainsaw 3D 2013. I enjoy these movies. I want to give you my review of the 1974 version when I first saw it. For that time in the 70's I was very young of course. This was a very graphic and horrific film at the time. Even though it was scary to me, and almost too bloody for me to watch I couldn't take my eyes away from the movie. To be honest some of it was disgusting to watch at that time. I think this movie was one of the first of it's kind. You either love or hate a movie like this. There is no in between. Leather face at this time was the most scariest and evil persona to date. So if you like these kinds of movies I recommend watching this one or revisiting it sometime.

I have always enjoyed watching the Texas Chainsaw movies. I enjoyed this one because I liked the storyline to it. It was different. Okay a lot of people don't care for these kinds of movies. I get that. If you don't like being entertained by a creepy weirdo chasing people with a chainsaw, please don't watch it. To me there is nothing creepier than watching people being chased by a crazed guy wielding a chainsaw. I didn't get to see this movie in 3D but I was thoroughly entertained. As I stated earlier I liked the storyline to this movie. A young woman inherits a house from her grandmother and the secret that goes with the house. I'm not going to say more because I don't like spoilers. The acting was good in this movie also. Be warned, it does have gory parts. If you like the Texas Chainsaw movies, then by all means watch it!

Pleasantly surprised!

When this movie American Ultra came out, I wasn't sure if I would like it. So I put off watching it until tonight. I was really surprised how it kept me thoroughly entertained. Both of the main actors, Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart did a great job in the movie. There are some funny moments amidst all the gore. There are enough action scenes to be highly entertaining and fast paced. This will be a movie I would probably watch again.

I rented this movie tonight and watched it. Yes, I agree with all the reviews here it is a remake. However I enjoyed watching it. The biggest difference in this movie and Sleeping with the enemy is Madison, the wife is expecting. Another difference is the good guy she meets has a child.I didn't think the acting was bad as a lot of the reviewers have stated. I thought it was well acted. Another thing I enjoyed about the movie was the soundtrack. And I would also say it was better than a Lifetime movie. Sleeping with the enemy was based on a book. And yes I have read it and it was better than the movie.

First I want to say I loved this beautifully retold classic tale of Beauty and the Beast.I have probably watched all versions of this movie because it is by far one of my favorite stories ever! This movie blew me away! I wasn't expecting that. The beast was a normal man who had scars on his face. It wasn't made like a fantasy movie where a spell is cast on him. The beast bore real physical and emotional scars. And Bella the beauty is a very brave young woman, who despite the beast's cruelty falls in love. In this version the beast finds hope again. If you love Beauty and the Beast, please don't pass this one up. I actually liked it better than the newest Disney version. This film was actually made into a two part series.I agree with some other reviewers here the acting is fantastic. It brought tears to my eyes in a few scenes. I won't say when or where in the movie but it had it's tear jerking moments. Now this film is one of my favorites.

I usually do not care for remakes of a great film even half as much as the original. And if you have not watched the original with Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman, please do. As I said it is a great film. I have to say though this remake of Papillon with Charlie Hunnam and Rami Malek is really good. I was excited about viewing this film and it didn't disappoint me. I thought Rami Malek stood out in this film. Charlie Hunnam did a fine job also. The film is based on a true story. It is about friendship, loyalty and hope. Survival and freedom. You will think about it long after it has ended.

If you are a fan of Queen, you must see this movie! I didn't make it to the theater to see it. I pre-ordered it digitally. I watched it last night. Was worried it would be a tear jerker for me. Happily I was wrong. Yes there are sad moments but I was so blown away by the acting and the whole movie when it ended I felt joy. Freddie will be truly missed. He definitely left his mark though. This film was a celebration of sorts about his life and achievements that defined Freddie as a true showman. He was a master entertainer. His amazing voice is uniquely his. That is why the singing in this movie was lip synced. The acting was amazing. Rami Malek did an excellent job of his portrayal of Freddie. All the other members of the band were portrayed exceptionally well. I was truly amazed. this movie is a keeper and one that I plan to watch over again. I particularly loved the Live Aid scene. If critics panned the movie, I disagree with them. So if you missed this one at the theater by all means buy it or rent it when you can and enjoy!

William Fichtner gives a fine performance in this movie. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. When I decided to watch this movie I thought I had The whole plot figured out. Well I didn't. The ending was different than I thought it would be. This is a good thing. To me the movie wasn't slow, it was just right. If your expecting a thriller, this is not for you. It is a psychological drama. I recommend it.
