Why I did what I did
30 September 2015
I watched this show over and over when it first came out. And the recorded it on Beta. It is one of the single greatest reason that I was able to retire at the age of 50. It showed me how to look at the world and everything around me in ways that no teacher every could. Even now when I look at a computer I think about looms. It gave me the ability to work out problems in days that would take my co-workers weeks or months to do. Just knowing the basic beginning point of any object is the fastest way to make it better. I fear without his show I would have (A) been killed doing something stupid as a kid and (B) Struggled in my chosen profession as a problem solver/ reverse engineer. And now that I no longer have to work. I use what I learned from him and his show to make things around the property. From wind powered generators to metal stamping machines run by a water wheel. To me he is the Grand Father of the Reuse, Recycle, Re-purpose movement.

Deep Web (2015)

Nothing about the Deep Web
10 September 2015
If you're looking for a movie about the Deep Web. This is not the movie for you. It was more about a guy getting screwed over by the government. It was nicely done and made it's point. But it never answered anything about the deep web. I was hoping for something other than the stuff that you can find on the web or you tube videos. As far as the government's war on drugs it's never going to win. People that want to get high are going to find a way to get high. It's just like if someone wants someone else dead it's going to happen and you can pass 1,000,000 new laws and it's not going to change a thing. I made my first rifle when I was 8 and that was without the Internet. Just a Public Library and the Dewey decimal system.

One of the better Bad movies.
29 August 2015
To start off with any movie that has Treat Williams is going to be great or bad. He is in that elite class of actors that know how to make a bad movie into a Great Bad movie. Dean Cain and Casper Van Dien are also in the top 10. Age of Dinosars lacked nothing for being a great bad movie. Good CG, people you cared about. I'll never understand the people that review this type of movie based their expectations of it as one would do with Aliens or Jurassic Park. Great Bad movies are just that. Pure entertainment with enough slow spots to take a quick break. As for me and my humble option plus owning over 2000 bad movies this is one that I'll add to my collection. If you want to watch something that is going to enlighten, inform and scare you. Go find another movie to watch. But if you want something that the whole family can make fun of and have a good time it is the movie.

Needs a - star

I love bad movies, Syfy puts out tons of them. Each with just enough good acting and cg to make it worth watching. This movie is not even worth the Saturday 6pm time slot. It started out bad and just got worst as them minutes ticked on. I'll even give it a pass for the bad CG. After the first 20 minutes I was hoping that they would all die. Between the son falling down, getting lost and just not listening to anyone. And the Dad who I don't think he could find his way out of a bathroom stall. There was no redeeming qualities any where to be found. I understand budgets but don't send someone to the thrift shop and tell them to buy anything that looks like a military uniform. I'm not saying do watch it, Everyone should watch it. Then Plan 9 from Outer Space will no longer be the worst movie of all time.

They are talking about a new movie.
23 August 2015
Warner Bros.'s is talking about making a movie of Dante's Inferno. I'm hoping that they don't screw it up like 90% of the movies that come out of Hollywood. Lets try not to be cutting edge about it. Stay from the video game version of it. This was one of the best film version that was ever done. It had a modern twist yet kept the spirit of the book. As of right now all I can see is over bloated CGs and some bad acting. Tim Bruton would be able to pull it off. Please Please no more M Night Shyamalan. That one trick pony died years ago. Side note: NO MORE SPIDERMAN MOVIE!! Uncle Ben was the lucky one, He got to die in the beginning and did not have to watch any of them.
