Brave New World (2020)

Much better than I first thought

There's a lot more to this if you give it a chance. It really grew on me. It's very brave (no pun intended) to reimagine such an iconic story such as brave new world. I think they have managed to create something unique whilst still staying true to the original themes of Aldous Huxley's masterpiece. E6 where John realises he can manipulate them and get laid all the time is gold! Overall I really enjoyed this series

Reprisal (2019)

Stylish and Engrossing

To my mind, this show is evoking, rather than actually set in the 1950's.

Stylish, slick production. Great acting and dialogue, resulting in an engrossing yet slightly creepy, noir vibe.

Mayans M.C. (2018– )

I really want to want this to be good - love Samcro and was so excited about Mayans. It just seems a bit dull tho? And some fairly wooden acting?? I would expect to see a lot more emotional conflict from a character torn between family and club loyalty and being a dog - he doesn't seem too phased 🤔
