Doogal (2006)
I still don't believe it...
It was on TV last night, and I thought, "I heard it was bad, but i'll watch it for the heck of it..."
My mistake.
The story is about a dog who I instantly disliked. He nearly ran a poor man off the road to steal candy, trapped the only person who cares for him in a cold death trap, that HE caused. And not only that, released an evil wizard. That's another thing, who in their right mind would trap a insane murderer IN A BLOODY ROUNDABOUT?!?! Well, anyway, 10 minutes into the film, dougal and a bunch characters we don't know anything about go off to save the world. Where's the substance?? No child could get this movie. I honestly could not watch the rest and left Dougal to be interrogated by Zeebad. Hopefully, Zeebad will realize where he is and teleport out of this movie.
2/10
The Crimson Permanent Assurance (1983)
Better then the movie itself!!
I was excited to watch The Meaning Of Life. But was NOT expecting this. I think I enjoyed this short more then the movie itself!! After this movie was finished, I lost interest in TMOL very fast and changed channel after 40 minutes. This film is very entertaining. Believe me, if you decide to watch, prepare to watch a load of nutty workers on a mutiny. It makes me want to rally up my fellow workers and storm the office and take over. I'm practicing right now, "Arrr!!"
Perhaps we should have one too...
Thank you The Crimson Permanent Assurance!!! For my my life happy and finding the insane, murderous buccaneer inside me!!!
V for Vendetta (2005)
Yep, a good film indeed...
*Contains MAJOR spoilers* I was a tad disappointed. The part when Evie got kidnapped, by the "Government" and went through torture was sad. I was expecting a huge rescue by Vee. You know, when they get their guns to shoot her, Vee suddenly appears out of nowhere with a long sword and fights the bad guys. But it was Him all along!?!? Rahh!!! WHY?? Still, it was a good film. The ending was
well
predictable. Especially when they watch The Count of Monte Cristo, I knew that he would die out of revenge. Do you think Vee would kill those people because they suck? Noooo. They had to do something real nasty to him to tick him off.
Anyway, this deserves a good 9 out of 10.
Cherrio!!
Pardon My Sarong (1942)
Classic!! You'll get hooked!!
One evening, I was flipping channels; bored as bored can be when a black and white film caught my eye. (It was the scene with the gas station attendant.) I watched until the scene with the dancers. Then I got bored and was flipping channels again. I went on the computer ate food ETC, when I went to watch TV again. All the sudden, four people were on some island. I was shocked, confused and mesmerized. I watch the rest of the film. At the end, I bitterly cursed myself for ever changing channels. I watched the whole movie a year later. That's when I got hooked. I now can't wait for the CBC to show a classic movie with our lovable heroes, Bud and Lou!!!
Shaun of the Dead (2004)
Funny
I bought this at the mall for 10 dollars. I've never saw it before and thought it was the best thing ever. The movie is original and funny. It is what would really happen if such a thing happened. But I would hide in my tree house. Nice and high... My favorite part in the movie was when he told us of his grand plan and when him and his group were hiking in the backyards, hopping fences and such. I think they should joined forces with the other group if you ask me.
But I thought Hot Fuzz was better. But I had the wrong impression of what it was about...
It's not the worst film I've ever saw, but then why did I sold it to my friend for 5 dollars? WHAT WAS I THINKING!?!?!
Leprechaun 6: Back 2 Tha Hood (2003)
oh god....
Oh god, don't get me started. This movie was not just horrible, but boring as well. Me and my friends lost interest in it after a half hour. You would think I would learn a lesson watching this movie. Yet some evil paranormal force (properly some leprechaun-alien creature in his spaceship he stole from the MARINES of all people) made me buy the VHS from a store. Oi god... save us all... If you want a good film, watch Fight Club or Corpes bride or
actually anything would be better. Either then Leprechaun in space. The only thing I liked about this film, was the credits.
Please, spare your sanity and save yourself!!
Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996)
Total rubbish...
This movie is total rubbish. I swear I lost at least 80% of my IQ points.
They people who made this movie must have been high on mushrooms or something when they though of it. WHY??!?!? Were they just sitting around one day when they said, "Hey! The third Leprechaun really sucked!! Let's made another one, just this time he's in outer space!!"
"Yeah!! Everyone will like that!! Let's go breathe some gasoline!!"
Where the HELL did they get the actors? Where they at the local homeless shelter when they found these people!?!?! The only actor that was good was the one who was taking the gold in the beginning. WHY, you ask, BECAUSE HE DIES JEDI STYLE!! HA!
My friend saw this movie with me when I bought it at the thrift store. Thinking it was going to a "so bad, it's good!" movie. When my friend came, we watched, but before the movie ended, my friend checked hiswatch and told me he, all the sudden "Had a previous engagement." He actually ran from my house.
Now, I know why they made this movie, to show to prison inmates when they refuse to talk. I can image it, a poor soul forced to watch this bad, unoriginal film, "Alright!! I'll tell everything!! Please spare my soul!!"
I have no idea what to do with the tape. I'm afraid to burn it and my family refuses to have it in the house.
If you value your intelligence, or your sanity, please don't watch it.
