Logan (2017)

A movie filled with a bunch of choreography, F-bombs and...not much else.
7 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
My biggest complaint with this movie is that while the choreography, fights and stunts were very well made and put together, it was sometimes nauseating to watch.

The camera would twist and turn for every slash and blood that was shed in the movie. Considering this is a Rated R movie to begin with, I'm fine with the grotesque violence in it but, I felt like I wanted to barf half the time while watching it.

There were other annoying effects where Professor Xavier Charles was having a seizure and you would literally hear nothing but a character's heartbeat for a good 2 to 3 minutes in the film as he was able to recover via taking medications for himself.

In short? These dramatic effects in the movie played themselves too often in the film. This is one of those movies where you might be better off watching it on DVD instead of a movie theater.

Another complaint from me is the constant usage of the F word.

I'm sure I heard the F word in this movie at least 50 or more times. Whenever this movie airs on FX in 5 years from now? It's not going to age very well, if they have to end up bleeping out so much of the filthy dialogue that comes out of these characters mouths.

I heard more filthy dialogue in this movie than in all seven of the Fast and Furious movies put together.

On the positive side of things? For a movie that extended past 2 hours? The least I can say is that I wasn't bored.

But at the same time? This is another one of those mindless, derivative action movies that will appeal to geeks out there but, for everyone else? Not so much.

What is this garbage?
7 November 2016
Warning: Spoilers
A truly dreadful movie. I watched the first 45 minutes of this garbage and absolutely nothing happened to the point, where I just had to stop watching.

Nothing. Some random scene of Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) making out with a girl in a bathtub, the bathtub for whatever reason had a built-in-security system.

What else? Ethan Hunt and his crew were deliberating and coming up with a plan in the safety of a cabin. It seemed like from where they were at there was never a sense of danger. Again I just watched the first 45 minutes of this movie and no gunfire or any killer action scenes were seen whatsoever.

It was a complete chore to withstand watching. Don't waste your time watching this. Believe you me.

Red vs. Blue (2003–2024)
5/10
This used to be fun to watch 10 years ago. Now? Not anymore.
20 December 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This used to be fun to watch 10 years ago but, nowadays in 2016? Not anymore. I just don't get the praise this show gets. None of the characters are likable.

Church doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut for more than five minutes. Has a girlfriend in Tex, that he is extremely abrasive towards to, Caboose is the dumb one, Simmons is the nerd, Sarge is a farm boy, Donut is a girly-guy, Andy the annoying bomb, etc.

It started off well enough with how Caboose killed Church with Sheila and it was pretty fun to watch 10 years ago. Now after watching Season 4 with how Tucker got...impregnated by an alien. No. Just no.

And here's my biggest flaw with this show.

Apart from Sheila killing a character here and there (or Wyoming taking over Doc's body) the show is nothing more than the characters back sassing each other and calling each other names.

Nothing more. That's it. That's the whole crux of Red Vs. Blue.

The voice acting here is very well done. Burnie Burns and the rest of the cast do wonders of voicing the characters very well.

If you watch earlier seasons (which is what I am reviewing) you notice that very rarely will you see more than four characters on screen at a time, granted I know this show was made back in 2003/2004/2005 with restrictions like that but, it just kills predictability of the show.

Aside from Tucker's "bow chicka bow wow" gag, I have never seen anyone share a Red Vs. Blue video on Facebook, Instagram and praise the show and make people check it out.

After not watching the show for years and on YouTube again for so long, like can't there be more than 10 characters? (Sister is introduced in the middle of Season 5)

The maps in Halo are extremely empty and I'm very surprised they are still continuing this show in 2016.

I'm sorry but, I don't get it. But I will admit all of it is very well made. I just wish it had likable characters and invest making story lines that are not dumb like Tucker getting pregnant.

A second rate version of Dexter's Lab
31 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
A cartoon that epitomizes the word mediocre. While there are a few good episodes of Jimmy Neutron, most notably the Jimmy-Timmy Power Hour specials and few other ones here and there, there isn't much saving grace to this cartoon beyond labeling it as a second rate version of Dexter's Laboratory.

The characters don't evolve much, or hardly at all and it makes every plot of every episode predictable and therefore boring.

It started efficient enough with the Pants pilot episode. It's just that the "humor" revolves around the characters making fools out of themselves rather than well-thought out humor like in Dexter's Lab.

As mentioned before, the characters don't evolve much, Carl and Sheen are especially irritating and act as just dumb lackeys to Jimmy for 90% of the time in the show. Jimmy's Dad (Hugh) loves ducks and pie. Ehhh.

I don't know it's just I don't find every episode where Jimmy's failed experiment going array and Jimmy and his crew saving the day at the tail end of (almost) every episode to not be very entertaining.

The voice acting and animation itself is fine but, where's plot writing and well thought humor (to me comes first) the discussion of bells and whistles here doesn't mean anything.

It's not the worst cartoon I've ever seen but, I no doubt will if it comes on TV (unless it's a really good episode) I'm changing the channel.

Danny Phantom (2003–2007)
3/10
I was never a fan of this cartoon
17 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Aside from the catchy theme song, I never really cared for this cartoon very much. Too much high school drama crap and not enough action. The parents are stereotypically inept, leaving the main character of the show (Danny) to deal with all of his problems at school on his own.

Being bullied frequently by the school jock (yawn) Dash is one example of this. It's just too bad I've seen this in a cartoon before.

I never understand why Danny never told his parents about the accident that gave him ghost powers in the first place -- until the series finale no less.

The theme song conveniently is a prologue in and of itself that sets up the viewer with what to expect from the show before watching a single episode, which is a nice touch.

The characters themselves are fine but, as I mentioned previously it's something I've seen before.

Crazed love interest for Danny (the Pauline girl) Check.

Stereotypical jock in Dash? Check.

The villains themselves are really not that great. I used to watch this show a lot back in 5th Grade and I really don't even remember one notable episode that I would care that is worth re-watching.

The villains do a lot of evil laughing with what I can remember from the show. And I mean A LOT of evil laughing with nothing to back it up.

Not the worst cartoon I've ever watched but, you can definitely do much, much better than this.

Considering this was made by the same guy that made The Fairly Odd Parents, I was definitely disappointed by this.

The Amazing Race (2001– )
6/10
Has it's ups and downs
16 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This is another show that falls into to the same mold as Survivor. Funny how both of those shows are owned by CBS.

That similarity being that some seasons of The Amazing Race are 10/10 in terms of entertainment value (Season 5 is the bomb) while other seasons are just agonizing and a pain to sit through even one episode of.

Seasons vary depending on how likable the teams are, how creative the Detour and Roadblock challenges are and so on and so forth.

I'll give the show credit that the soundtrack score is pretty good. It perks up and the music becomes a little goofy, for an example when teams had to dress up as cows in Season 13 and it turns dead serious when the end of an leg is coming and it's a foot race to the mat to see who gets eliminated.

The biggest flaw I should mention in every single season of The Amazing Race is this. Bickering. It's apparent in every single season of the show.

I can agree with this to an extent. Seeing teams yell at taxis to "GO FASTER! WE HAVE TO BEAT THEM!" really gets a bit annoying after awhile. Be aware that this is IN EVERY SEASON no less.

If you can withstand the teams it's a fun show to watch.

Gets points for attempting to do something nice with the license but, the movie is ultimately mediocre
9 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is all over the place and while it's notches better than the Power Rangers Turbo movie, that isn't saying much.

At times the movie is exhilarating and fun to watch. The opening skydiving sequence with all six of the Power Rangers was very well made.

The antagonist of the film, Ivan Ooze was alright.

Other times, I shake my head in disbelief in that that could of done so much more with the Power Rangers license and made it better.

The part where the Rangers lost their powers and became ninjas I just wasn't too fond of.

I don't even know. I just wished the Power Rangers fought more than just generic baddies and putties in the film. You think Tommy could of had an epic showdown with Rita Repulsa or something.

Speaking of which, it's worth noting Tommy and Kim are basically the only two Power Rangers that get any sort of screen time. The other four Rangers are just kinda there.

It's completely mindless fun to watch but at the same time, that's why this is just a mediocre film (at best) and that no one other than kids past the age of 10 will find something to enjoy here.

One of the worst movies ever made - I'm a big Power Rangers nut and this sucked
9 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This is the first (and likely the only time I'll ever give a 1 on IMDb) this movie is horrendous. I dressed up as a Power Ranger for Halloween for two years growing up. I had watched at least 8 or 9 different seasons of Power Rangers growing up. You can't rightfully criticize something unless you know something about the source material.

This movie sucked. Period. The rangers themselves JDF (Jason David Frank) is badass, Adam AKA Johnny Yong Bosch was okay. The little kid (Justin) was annoying and the two girls have no personality whatsoever and are not even worth mentioning.

60% of the movie consisted of Jason David Frank and the others floating aimlessly on a ship with no sense of immersion or action taking place.

Fun fact. Due to how awful this movie was, the Power Rangers license was almost canned in North America and cancelled until ultimately the follow up season, Power Rangers In Space, saved the franchise from extinction.

That's how awful this movie is. It almost silenced Power Rangers for good. An 8-year-old fanboy of the series could of written and produced better junk than this.

Easily one of the worst movies ever made and I'm sure it'll continue to be labeled as that 15 years from now.

Space Jam (1996)
10/10
Ignore the haters. This movie is great.
22 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
God only knows how many times I have seen this movie when I was a kid. To this day in 2015, Space Jam is commonly aired on the Rock & Roll Picture Show on VH1. A very quotable movie that every person like me growing up in the 90's loved.

"We need your HEEEELLP!!!" and "Don't every call me...doll." and "Your secret stuff."

It's perfect all ages. I loved watching this movie when I was only 3 years old when it came out. Toddlers will enjoy the cartoony characters coming to life and everything is bright and colorful.

I seriously can't think of one bad flaw about this movie.

Nothing is subjective or offensive. There's no lame farting or waffle jokes (looking at you Teen Titans Go) and nothing is dumb-downed for adults to get sick of. And I think that's part of the reason why people still casually watch it 20 years later.

I'll explain my 10 star rating. How many sports movies out there do you know are marketed for kids?

I loved this movie back in 1997 and I still love it in 2015.

Ignore the haters. This movie is fantastic.

Furious 7 (2015)
7/10
It was fun but, it's time to end it.
18 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie but, I think it's high time this franchise was put to rest.

Shortly after the death of Paul Walker in November 2013, ideas were scrambled on what would happen in Fast and Furious 7 and after watching it, they did a hell of a great job with making the movie have some semblance of a plot without his death, getting in the way of things.

However one thing has been bugging me since 5th one, the fake CGI sequences hamper the action and suspense for me.

I remember there was one part in Fast & Furious 7 where Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) drove through three glass buildings, and the car had no visible damage, glass didn't shatter the windshield, glass didn't fly at them, they escape mostly unscathed just with a few minor few bumps and bruises.

I don't care what state of the art car it was they were in, they would NOT survive going through three glass buildings.

To me whenever they make a Fast and Furious 8, the only way they can possibly taking it forward is that if the President gets kidnapped or something and it's up to Dom and the others to rescue him. After that mission, Dom retires from the drag racing scene for good.

Granted I know Dom gave a great explanation why he's doing this in the first movie but, I think that might be a good way to wrap everything up for good.

This was fun to watch, but it's time to put this series to rest. Enough said.

Not that great
12 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Major spoiler alerts. I didn't really like the fact that while Tweety is sent to travel around the world in 80 days, he can safely collect all 80 paw-prints from cats in one country if he wanted to.

Granny wagers a bet in efforts of hoping Tweety can travel around in the 80 days. That's the whole crux of the plot.

I know this may seem rude given that this is a movie that came out 15 years ago (2000) but the scenery of this movie is just bland and not awe-inspiring. Most of the backgrounds are empty and devoid of life and even lack color. Some transitions only include one or two colors to look at.

This is most apparent when Tweety and his friend Aoogah get lost in a hurricane and the grey clouds they get trapped in, look like something a 6th grader would draw.

Nothing really exciting happens. And the cameo appearances by the other Looney Tunes characters are tacked on after-thoughts.

Aoogah was a pretty annoying character and apparently has the ability to sound like a horn. Okay.

Didn't care about this movie at all. At the same time, there wasn't anything bad about it. Just very drab and dull for me to get into.

Don't bother checking this one out unless you seriously crave everything related to the Looney Tunes license.

It's bright and colorful and that's about it.
12 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I'll give the movie credit that it's very whimsical, bright and colorful. Kids will no doubt be memorized by the cheery feel the movie has but, that's about all Spongebob: Out Of The Water has going for it.

The singing segments by Spongebob and Plankton were not even catchy nor memorable and just a time filler.

The plot here is even worse than the one in the first Spongebob movie.

I mean at least in the first one Plankton was hell-bent on taking the secret formula and brainwashing the citizens of Bikini Bottom.

The plot in Out Of The Water is that the secret formula has magically disappeared (it's never mentioned in the movie when everything said and done) WHY it just magically disappeared and it's up to Spongebob and his comrades to save the day.

The live action segments are NOT that apparent in this movie and they only get super powers in the last 15 minutes of the film. Which I find odd, given the advertisements of the movie, I thought the superhero parts were a major selling point for the movie.

This MIGHT attract the attention of kids that are 10 years old or younger but, that's about it. Everyone else can rightfully skip it and move on with their lives.

Finding Nemo (2003)
9/10
No matter how many times I watch it, I still adore Finding Nemo
6 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I have a lot of memories with this movie. First movie I ever bought a DVD of. Finding Nemo is fantastic.

No matter how many times I watch this movie, I noticed something different that catches my attention and rattles my eyes with glee.

For an example, I like the part where Marlin (Nemo's son) is sent to find Nemo and other aquatic creatures would share Marlin's story of going all the way to Australia to rescue him, with transitions that change with impeccable timing with great music, that fits pretty much every single scene of the movie, quite well.

You can tell a lot of care was put into this movie, even adults will enjoy Finding Nemo.

The one thing I also give this movie credit for was that there is some continuity and an ACTUAL story to it. A lot of children's movies lack this.

For an example, when Marlin is on his way to Australia to rescue Nemo, all the humans and fish creatures Marlin meets SPEAK Australian which they should be. A well thought out plot like this even brings more charm to Finding Nemo.

At 90 or so minutes, the movie clocks in at a perfect time. It's not too short nor, is it too long for kids to get bored of.

A great, great movie. 9/10. Would give it a 10 if it wasn't for the fact that you have like me, seen it at least five or so times. You have had to see this movie multiple times. It comes on Cartoon Network, ABC Family and so on and so forth, quite often.

Survivor (2000– )
6/10
Your mileage will vary
6 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of those shows where I wish IMDb would categorize every single season of Survivor in the database. Seriously there are over 20 seasons of Survivor and when it's good, it's REALLY good with 10/10 material. *cough* Amazon *cough*

Other times there are seasons that are just painful to watch. *cough* Thailand *cough*

This show has been on the air for close to fifteen years (since the show's inception in 2000) for a show to be on that long, in the prime time slot, every year no less on CBS, it has to be doing something right.

Sailor Moon (1995–2000)
6/10
The first season is really good, can't say the same for the rest of the series.
6 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I really liked the first season of Sailor Moon. It introduces all of the characters to the show really well.

Sailor Moon is the air-head "dumb blonde" and leader of the team. Sailor Mercury is the nerd. Sailor Mars has a fiery hot temper. Sailor Jupiter is the tomboy. Sailor Venus is a glam girl.

There are 40 episodes of Season 1 and there's enough substance to the characters and the villains (Queen Serenity) that it keeps the show engaging without getting too repetitive or boring.

For an example, Sailor Mars poking fun at Serena AKA Sailor Moon for eating too much and calling her "meatball head" is pretty cheesy but, cute and funny to watch.

However at the start of Season 2, everything changed. The voice acting was different (it got worse) and the dubbing got worse with lazy, poorly written plots and while other characters like Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus were introduced here, they weren't as fleshed out as they could of been and the whole show just got boring, here on out for me.

I don't even know what had happened in the show soon after Season 2 but, whatever.

A decent show (girls will love it) but, it isn't for everyone.

Invader ZIM (2001–2006)
4/10
I loved it as a kid, now I can't stand it.
6 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Extremely surprised by the praise this show gets. It's not horrendous or anything. I even bought Season 2 of this show back when I was in 6th Grade (2006)

Now it seems this show doesn't age very well. Number one reason being that only about 20 or so episodes of Invader Zim were ever made and seeing the same episodes on rotate, again and again really gets annoying after awhile.

The plot is this. Zim and Gir are sent on a mission by the Irks (a race of aliens) to take over Planet Earth. A very simple premise, fine and dandy.

Zim (the main character) doesn't know how to keep his damn mouth shut for more than five seconds and his arch-rival Dib, isn't that much better with trying to the prove the existence of aliens in...oh I don't know in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. It's a washed out formula that gets on my nerves.

The only episode I honestly I ever really cared for was the "Mysterious Mysteries" episode with Kevin Michael Ricardson trying to bring some life in his dying TV program and the flying squirrel eating Dib's head (in Gir's imagination) was hilarious.

But that's my ten cents as far as I'm concerned with this cartoon and I'm sticking with it.

A movie that tries too hard with not much action
5 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
To be honest? The only part of this movie I ever really cared for was the first 15 minutes. The bridge jump sequence at night was really fun to watch. Can't say the same for the rest of the film.

There's one part of the movie, the main antagonist (I forgot his name already) puts a rat in someone's junk in an attempt to get information from him.

That whole rat baiting scene was just disgusting and (made me feel extremely uneasy) to watch.

The ending of the movie is a bit abrupt with a driving force of cars from a warehouse holding the police back so Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson can escape from the authorities. Okay.

A passable film. I only recommend you check it out if you are car collector or driving freak.

Easily the weakest entry in the series but, that isn't a bad thing.
5 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Tokyo Drift will definitely turn heads for people. None of the original cast members, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel appear in this movie (apart from a 5 second cameo) near the credits.

The main protagonist of this movie is Lucas Black. He is a completely unlikable character with juvenile behavior, performing poorly in school (on purpose I may add) and has a raspy, grating redneck voice.

When a near fatal crash (almost) kills him, his mother has decided that enough is enough and that he sends his son to Japan to mature over what he has done.

Lucas manages to get himself involved with the drag racing scene in Japan and toss in some miscasting with rapper Bow Wow as the token black character of the movie, you have a movie with some thrills, although it's nothing seriously worth glazing over.

The ending of the movie is admittedly very well thought out and saves the whole presentation from being a disaster.

Cars flip over and drifting seems to play more of a pivotal role in this movie than in other F&F movies and that actually makes watching it more fun, the camera man changing angles (in dramatic fashion) every few seconds is fun to watch.

In all, this is probably the weakest entry in the franchise but, that isn't a bad thing. I can live without Lucas Black in the spotlight though.

50% alright, 50% boring
22 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Looney Tunes: Back In Action, is an attempt to help Warner Bros make big dough like they did with Space Jam. However Back In Action, isn't as revering as it's processor, and while this movie is alright in certain sections of it, it's also quite frankly, boring in a good chunk of it.

Daffy gets jealous of the limelight Bugs is getting, causing havoc in Warner Bros. Studios. There he meets DJ, a police officer, who was recently fired from his job.

Soon after, Daffy is without a job. DJ's learns that his father has been kidnapped (supposedly in Las Vegas), Bugs wants Daffy back, and when you toss all that together, you get a calamity of a movie...or so you think.

The only part of the movie I honestly really cared for was the chase sequence through Las Vegas involving Yosemite Sam trying to kill Bugs, Daffy, DJ and Jenna Elfman (the token blonde girl of the movie)

It was very well made but, that's about as exciting as the action gets in this movie.

The rest of the film is basically DJ and Jenna Elfman slowly growing affection towards each other. Lovey, dovey stuff isn't exactly what first comes into my mind when I think about Looney Tunes.

There's barely little humor to this movie, which Space Jam at least made me chuckle a few times, here and there with in delight.

It's like Bugs and Daffy are shoehorned into the movie, to help Warner Bros, make more money. It's also worth noting that the rest of the Looney Tunes characters (Granny, Tweety, Taz & Sylvester) are reduced to brief cameo appearances, playing no significant role to the plot whatsoever.

The main antagonist of the movie, is some scientist that is completely forgettable. I honestly don't even remember his name and what he did in the movie, other than he made himself look like a complete ignoramus throughout the course of the film.

Only Looney Tunes fans should check this out and I was a little bit disappointed, that it could do so much more with the Looney Tunes license. 5/10.

The Rocker (2008)
4/10
A colorful cast in a movie that isn't exactly colorful
11 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
If you read my other reviews, I tell the overview plot of the movie in a few sentences. Robert Fish (Rainn Wilson) would be booted out of a band that would be extremely successful, Vesuvius due to politics.

Vesuvius would continue to be popular for over 20 years. Fish is recruited by his nephew Matty (Josh Gad) in need of a drummer for his own band. Fish, tired of living life as a couch potato accepts the offer and tries to take the limelight and be as successful as Vesuvius.

My biggest gripe with the movie overall is that it's EXTREMELY predictable.

An unnecessary scene of drinking at a bar after a gig? Check. Emma Stone in the movie only there to act as eye candy to the audience? Check. You can essentially write the script in it yourself.

Another issue is that character development is really only given to Rainn Wilson and nobody else. Near the end of the movie, the band Matty formed (A.D.D) plays as an opening gig for Vesuvius and there's NO chemistry given between Rainn Wilson and his former band mates and if they should let the past be behind them or not but, no.

There's no apologizes given for the two former band mates. And there's no real character development for the rest of the A.D.D. band that would make you care for why they formed a band in the first place (minus Fish)

The ending of the movie comes with A.D.D. stealing an encore presentation from Vesuvius after they were caught lip syncing and the movie ends in bittersweet fashion.

I didn't laugh once in the movie, but that's probably because Rock Band and Myspace (some of the gags in this movie) are not even relevant anymore in 2015.

Not a very good movie. I only recommend you check it out if you are musically inclined.

Teen Titans Go! (2013– )
3/10
Not very good at all
10 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Let me get the merits out of the way. The only positive things I can say here about this cartoon was that at it least it retrains the original voice acting talent for the new Teen Titans cartoon from the 2003 original.

That's about where all the good points stop at where Teen Titans Go is concerned.

All of the humor told here in this cartoon is toilet humor. It's like the writers took notes from watching old Newgrounds videos and cut/copy/pasted those notes to Teen Titans Go.

You are either going to be a fan of this or not, and for me it's the latter and only 12 year olds might find this show (as a whole) funny.

3/10 and that is all.

Furious 6 (2013)
8/10
I liked it but, it's definitely not for everyone.
9 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I'll do a quick synopsis of this movie given the fact that, reviews range in different lengths on this website. Fast & Furious 6 is a pretty good movie, despite some glaring issues.

The biggest of which I'll get out of the way. There is no sense of realism to Fast and Furious 6 and the same can be said for the rest of the franchise. Zero.

The biggest head-tilter of which was when Dom (Vin Diesel) jumps from a car onto a bridge to catch Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) with nothing to support his fall. He just magically jumps 50 feet across a bridge and catches her onto on-coming traffic, escaping with only a few minor cuts and bruises. The whole scene was put in cheap slow motion effect. You'll no doubt go "as if..." after watching that part.

It's worth noting though the effects have gotten drastically better when you compare it to the first Fast and Furious movie that was released back in 2001. It's like night and day when you draw a comparison to movies released in 2001 and 2013.

Despite it's faults, I recommend at least renting the movie and giving it a shot.

A bit too predictable but, in all a decent film
9 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The fourth Fast & Furious movie was basically the two main protagonists in the series Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) rekindling a long, lost friendship after the two hadn't seen each other in over five years.

That's the whole premise of the movie.

The whole driving that the series is known for takes a backseat here and Diesel and Walker start to develop a brotherly love relationship.

To be honest? The only part of the movie that is worth your time watching is the last 15 minutes. Without giving much away, it's a fun, heist through Mexico that saves the movie from being mediocre.

It's not the greatest movie of all time you will watch, but it will suffice you enough without having to skip selecting scenes and what have you.

I liked it at first but, it's really getting long in the tooth

Warning: Spoilers
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic was originated by Lauren Frost. She is the wife to Craig McCracken, the creator of "The Powerpuff Girls" and "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends"

The show debuted on the Hub Network in late 2010 and was an immediate hit and became a pop culture phenomenon. Seriously I haven't seen a cartoon get this much buzz since Pokemon.

However it all comes at a price, the show is incredibly repetitious. It's been on for close to five years now and if you have been watching the cartoon from it's inception in 2010 to 2015, not much has changed.

The cartoon is rated "Y" and this is part of the issue. All of the plot points are resolved with friendship. It's annoying. And without rambling on, this is all I have say here as far as my ten cents are concerned about this cartoon.

A disjointed mess
8 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I'll get down to the nitty-gritty here. The Digimon Movie is awful.

The story is a complete mess (even to me who is a fan of the anime) the movie is actually told through 3 "mini-movies" with the first one involving Tai, his sister Kari and the origins of his partner Greymon and seeing a wild bird attacking their home.

For whatever reason, only Tai and Kari can only see the rampaging bird attacking their home. Only the "Digi-Destined" can. Confused enough already? The worst part to the first third of the movie is that this is never referenced in any part of the TV show (if you follow it that is) and it makes you wonder if it's cannon or not. It's hard to follow and it's nonsensical.

The second part pits Tai and Izzy (and the rest of characters given lame reasons why they can't help Tai and Izzy >_>) and eradicating a computer virus. The only notable part to it was Omnimon and even that part I mentioned, is stretching it.

The third part pits...zzz...and I'm bored enough with this movie already.

At least in "Pokemon: The First Movie" Ash Ketchum died. Nothing happened in The Digimon Movie. 2/10. Don't even bother with this.
