Trolls World Tour (2020)
Ummmmm...
What in the propaganda did I just watch? What the heck are they doing to our kids? Beyond awful. Boring. Just plain terrible.
The Social Dilemma (2020)
You can see through it like glass...
Started watching this in disbelief that Netflix was promoting this type of documentary when they released a movie exploiting children simultaneously. The whole time I'm trying to figure it out.. then they mention Pizzagate. 💡 1. People who believe in Pizzagate do NOT simply believe that ordering a pizza means you are ordering someone who is being trafficked. It goes so. much. deeper. 2. Look into the shooter. He was once an ACTOR. He shot one bullet into the floor and it went through their computer system and destroyed the server. 3. Also look at the artwork in that place.. look at the owners old Twitter.. look into the bands that play there. It all points to one thing. Last, which is probably the most important of all, anything Pizzagate, Save The Children, Q, Right-Winged, Pro-Trump, and etc.. is currently being banned and silenced right now. Social media accounts of those who are outspoken Trump supporters and outspoken Q believers are being shut down with no notice, no reasoning... not being promoted for growth. Censoring is real. While a portion of this documentary is legitimate, it's just yet again, another piece of propaganda.
Pandemic: How to Prevent an Outbreak (2020)
It's simply the reality of it all..
All of these people saying this is "politically charged" and "propoganda" have no clue what they're talking about. Yes we have better technologies now, but not everyone everywhere has access to those, and what happens when our systems become overwhelmed? We are so lucky to have access to these things here in America and I think people tend to take that for granted. My mother retired from CDC as a microbiologist working in AIDS research for thirty years. She worked there my entire life and I grew up seeing everything from this side of the fence. They sent her all over the world and see saw these things first hand. It's just simply the reality of everything.
Stranger Things (2016)
The definition of insanity...
The definition of insanity is often said to be doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Not that it's the actual definition, but I've heard that more times than I care to remember... And don't get me wrong.. I love Stranger Things.. but I feel that's where this show is going. It's just the same story over and over every season. Sure they have loveable characters and they are continuously building them, but each season has the same base, the same premise. Each season ends with what seems to be "closure" to this world and each season finds new means to open the gate. The same story just told a little differently each time. At some point the gate will have to close or the worlds will have to permanently collide. I don't know how I feel. Dark may have ruined Stranger Things for me. It's not that I'm comparing them, because they're absolutely nothing alike. Dark is so much deeper than ST, and on a totally different level...but I felt like the story really moved forward where ST is on an endless loop. Hopefully next season will take us somewhere different, but if they continue on this way.. they're really going nowhere fast.
Stranger Things: Chapter One: Suzie, Do You Copy? (2019)
Eh
Not sure if I'm feelin this.. But, can someone PLEASE shave Hopper's mustache?
Dark: Anfänge und Enden (2019)
I think I need to start watching German television.
Literally, nothing we do here in America can ever compare. #brilliance
Dark (2017)
Written so well..
I am OBSESSED with stories and movies about Time Travel, and I have never seen it done so perfectly. Stories like this tend to get messy once you go in so deep, but they figured out a way to keep that from happening. It's mind blowing. The depth they take it to is incredible. You can truly feel the emotions of each character. Dark is the perfect title for the setting and feel of this show. I just wish I would have learned that you can watch it in German with English Subtitles. I would have much rather watched it in the original and will probably re-watch it in that form before season two next week. I'm also sick of people comparing it to Stranger Things. These are two totally different beasts, and I'll take Dark over ST any day.
Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes (2019)
Intriguing and Horrifying
First of all, you can totally watch this alone, but...prewarning...you won't be able to stop. It's 3 AM, and I was not going to sleep until I had finished it. I honestly never really knew much about Ted Bundy. I just knew of him and that he was an infamous serial killer. I had no idea how extensive his killings were, and I'm honestly dumbfounded. I don't know how he got away with it for as long as he did. It makes me wonder how long he would have made it today. He is...by far...the worst, but it makes me wonder how many people out there are just like him. This documentary was one of the best I've seen. I would definitely put it up there with Making a Murderer. I'm really going to need Netflix to make this a series and add some more seasons on the rest of these guys, i.e. Manson and Dahmer. Please and Thank You!
New Girl (2011)
