One Piece (2023)
Most actors did great, director could done much better
I love most of the actors of choice and I have a feeling they had good chemistry while making the show. However, the way the director made the different scenes was often awkward and made me having mixed feelings about the show as a whole.
The interaction between the straw hat crew members is wonderfully heartwarming, and Garp and the fellow marines does a great job as well. At the other hand several dialogues from the other characters could have been done differently. For example I think Mihawk sounds too snobbish, and the acting from Alvida and Kuro was a bit too exagerrated some places. A bit too many unnecessary elements were put into the scenes that could be done in a more genuine manner instead of overly dramatic.
The way Luffy is animated while delivering punches is a bit underwhelming. The movements should have been a bit quicker so that the action scenes get more intense.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
Underrated
What I've noticed from the many 1-star reviews is that they hate strong and independent females that has their own opinions of doing what they want in life instead of following their "destiny" in being a super hero. I absolutely love the show so far with great pacing, action, dialogue and humor. Tatania is hot and witty, and I couldn't ask for a better actor for the role. Give the show a watch!
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Excitment, balance, lots of great moments!
The movie has a great mix of intense scenes with some twists and turns together with some good quiet moments where you can just relax and enjoy the beautiful visuals. This is a balance I truly wish more action-movies could have. Absolutely loved the original trick towards the end part. To make the movie experience even better, watch WandaVision first!
Onward (2020)
Underrated - good vibes and important themes
The atmosphere is comical, touching and epic, and as the movie has a lot humor, it also manages to balance the tone with some serious and emotional moments. I like movies that adds a bit depth to interpersonal relationships, and I think it is especially hard to make a family movie with these elements.
Although I'm not an expert, I love music and I definitely notice when I like something I hear. I think the music in this movie is okay. If they added a bit of memorable melodies/themes I think the experience would be tons better (maybe easier said than done). During a scene towards the ending I wish they made the tune a bit differently as it had an important emotional moment.
All in all the movie made me smile and I'm really happy they made it.
Batman & Robin (1997)
People are jumping on the hate train too easily
When people have an opinion about something, it's easy for many to jump into the majority group just for fun. How about experience something without having everyones opinion hanging over you? Try have some common sense and make your own thoughts about something instead. Don't take the movie too seriously and you'll enjoy it.
