The Rookie: Feds (2022)
Terrible
Just an old lady trying to show off her boobs instead of portraying a police officer as having some brains. It is't funny it is disgusting. I wonder what the producers were thinking when they cast the lead, someone trying to stress their body parts does not represent police or women or aging women appropriately.
I am not sure if this is the character that she has been asked to portray or just her own personality but she really distracts from the story line and wears on one's nerves. She is just so inappropriate that it isn't funny, it is disgraceful.
It might be a good show but the lead is just not right.
The Incredible Dr. Pol: The Bark Side (2022)
Very disappointed that they put the cow down
I usually love Dr. Pol but this episode left me feeling disappointed in the new generation of vets, as I have seen alot of it recently. Judgements made by people who don't really uderstand vetrinarian medicine and taught to the new generation.
The vet could have cut the calf and taken it out or done a C section, this shows the difference between experience and determination and book learning.
Any experienced vet in a rural setting who is a true vet does not just give up,, the cow was not suffering, she needed the calf out,. Simple. So sad for the cow.
Why would anyone have to have at least 600 characters to be accepted, that is ridiculous. A review doesn't need to have length it needs to have substance and knowledge.
1000-lb Best Friends (2022)
I love this show
I started out being attracted to the title thinking it would be fun but it is actually an insightful, empowering, encouraging and supportive television program. God bless these friends who support each other through the good times and the challenging times.
One of the few inspirational shows on television.
Bright Green Lies (2021)
About time some realism
To the fantasy thinking of many who have no understanding. Thank you for the facts.
The Genetic Detective (2020)
I found this show disappointing
The solving of the crimes was interesting but the amount of time spent with her explaining how she did it, was overly technical and boring and every episode how she met up and worked with the organization sounded like an ad for the organization. More concentration on interviews and joining the DNA evidence to charges and court would have made it more interesting. I really don't care about her big house or how much money she has,
Hoarding: Buried Alive: You're Gonna Die in Here (2013)
Interesting Episode
Thank goodness he had professional help available, his family was totally unsupportive, threatening, demanding and appalling. He didn't need their help, they were all about themselves and what he could or could not do for him.
A Bone to Pick: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery (2015)
Just horrible
The main character is a nosey busybody who is immature, socially uneducated and a mishap. It sets a poor example for people to think that someone so snoopy could go and accomplish such things without putting themselves in extreme danger. And when she makes feeble attempts to defend herself, well if someone did try her methods they would be dead. I would never recommend this to anyone.
