I've always been a fan of Fantasy, with great CGI. Story is typical fantasy, not spectacular by very watchable. Some of the other critics that says it's not a good film, I challenge them to write a better story, if they can even imagine something this good. There is another actress that was pleasant to the eyes. Rachel Zegler. I don't want to spoil the whole story but if you watch it to the end, you won't be disappointed. Pretty amazing there is another favorite actress on there. Not gonna say who it is. Looking forward for part 3. I think Shazam will be joining Justice League pretty soon. Pretty amazing.

Pretty exhilarating

Started out a bit slow, but kept me watching. At first I thought it was a horror film that involves horse killers, or horse nappers. Had to watch it several times to get the gist of the movie. But the last 40 minutes of the film it starts to unravel. People disappearing, horses disappearing. What the hell is going on ! Then there was a bit about a Chimpanzee named "Gordy" . . . I remembered a bit of news where certain people adopted a baby Chimpanzee. Baby animals are so cute and cuddly at their baby stages all the way to toddler size. Then they turn dangerous and deadly, sorta, kinda, like humans. This movie is certainly very different, and is directed beautifully. I don't really know if there is a "better way" to direct this film. It is a "new" thing. If you want a film that would keep you guessing, this is the one. Be prepared not to be thrilled at the end because you are going to be wanting more. This is one film that would let you give the ending yourself. Good film.

So I watch several minutes of this movie, and was beginning to believe the bad reviews. So I paused grabbed a snack, and rewind, just to get more insight. Before writing a bad review, watched the movie all the way to the end. Now I can put a much more educated review instead of "assumptions", CGI is not a problem. Story is also new, not a copy of something else. . The cast needs to have a series, i.e. Justice Society. Quintessa Swindell is very cute, wish she had more scenes. . Yeah I think this movie is worth 9 stars, can't wait for the sequels. Watch out, what's his face "Darkseid" .. they comin' for you !!!

What a waste of my time. I could only watch half way and could no longer bear to watch it. I tried overlooking some of the scenes but just don't have the guts to watch it more than 40 minutes. It was just too much. Acting was just unbearable. You know if you want to act like a lunatic, you don't need to try that hard. But all the mumbling, and screaming, and dumb act, mostly about the two guys. And then you have clowns that first seemed has no money then all of sudden found some motorized equipment to move the bodies. And all the tools to murder the tourists, which are not tourists, but locals that lost their way.

Emphasis on FICTION, and science. Some people seems to be taking this movie seriously. It is highly entertaining, and not so predictable. I saw it on HBO Max and definitely not disappointed. I think some even added their political views about this movie. INSANE !!! Anyway, WATCH it, and see for yourself. Really liked this movie and. John Bradley *Samuel Tarly" did an excellent job acting. Enjoy the special effects.
I just don't understand some peoples logic, if logic even exist in their minds. Seems they are stuck in 2016-2020 and couldn't accept a lost election.

So a man wrestles a woman, and she seems to over power the man. Seems to me that the man should've easily overpowered the woman, easily. But such is the way of the story goes. I am being generous giving it 4 stars. VERY GENEROUS.

Finally gave in and sat down to watch it. At first it has not caught my attention until something happened that made me to pay more attention. It's not another alien movie but actually has a great story behind it. This movie completely surprised me. LOL it's not Guardians of the Galaxy.

Cancelled Netflix because of their line up and price continue to rise with a promise of better programming, but instead continuous mediocre line up.
Anyway, did not want to watch this at first. The only "spoiler" I'll put it out "ReDrUm" ... that's it.
This movie is definitely fascinating and a class of it's own. Kept me guessing, thinking, intriguing my every curiosity. You will not be disappointed.

Watched it on Disney+... Jack Black has been always funny to me, then there's Amanda Pete. Compared it to the old Gulliver's Travel that came out circa 1950 ???.... Anyway, this was not close, but it was funny. That rendition of the song "War !" what is it good for, absolutely nothing.

Although fictional, there are events of this film that could easily happened in real life. Sometimes life is not a bed of roses where everyone inherits good fortune. I was thinking revenge might quench the thirst to pacify my disappointment with certain folks in this film, but this story tells a different story. Very sad and relatable to true stories.

I was hesitant to watch this cause I have a pre-conceive notion that it would be just another car chase, etc... But since HBO Max has it and it's expiring on June 13. I better watch it before it expires. Vanesa Kirby actually caught my attention and well.. I have a crush on her immediately.

My most favorite musical is West Side Story. Great songs and story. Cats is in a different level on its own. Love the costumes and the set. I am not a cat person, but I did have a cat when I was a lot younger, and when it disappeared, I searched everywhere and found her in the middle of the road, lifeless. Cried that day. This Cat story had a great cast and ensemble. The story was not as appealing for my taste. But it is still very watchable if you have the time.

Definitely does not deserve the negative ratings. There are some parts that slows down, but from the start this is intense, thriller, horror, sci-fi film with good directing and story. Just can't help thinking that the negative reviews are subjective. The story is incredibly unbelievable, and every bit possible. Can never tell what lurks below the deep trenches of the ocean floor. I don't know, maybe a giant squid ?

"Seen it during the release, and did not bother to rate and review it. I'm seeing a lot of low star reviews on this film so I decided to watch it again on HBO Max. Title was at the beginning when Atlanna just woke up and she ate the goldfish in the fish tank. This is the only spoiler I will mention. We all know or should know who Aquaman is. A hybrid (Atlantean/human) that can talk to sea creatures. Jason Momoa is the best match for this role. This is actually a good story, and I think I remember watching a cartoon matching this story. Definitely not a 10, but I would rate is at a 7 or 8.

This is a 2005 movie. It's pretty good, but it seems to be lacking something. Not sure how to describe it. I fell asleep in certain parts and had to rewind to watch it again. Maybe the Spear should've been discovered by someone important instead of a random person ? It satisfied my horror flick craving but not a full satisfaction. Just couldn't pinpoint what it was lacking.

Saw this during release and now second time watching it and still amaze, and surprised at the story. Now I see why it is not streaming at Disney, or HBO Max, it's still making money. Think I'm going to buy the DVD instead of just continuing to rent it. Very rare I give a perfect movie 10 stars, so this one rates at 8.

This movie make you want to jump into it and do something. Be a hero, and help the reporter free herself, and the others. The way it was filmed make you sometime become the incarcerated reporter. The resolve of this reporter makes me want to root for her escape, but I am helpless. If you can watch this movie, go for it.

Taylor Russell shines, but the main character is very convincing that he has the illness. I may hae or have not experience this illness, but I do remember hearing things, but not seeing things. The voice are mostly destructive. My grandma taught me when I come into a dark place to always call on the only true and living God. that is Jesus Christ, and here I am today with my right mind.

I love how she made the character so believable. Just be prepared to have a box full of Kleenex. This movie will make you cry, because it is real life. Jaden Smith AKA "Square" is also great in this movie. Supporting cast made this movie very close to home.
