Somewhere, Tomorrow (1983)
we love!
First of all we bought this movie as a joke from the 1 dollar bin. This is by far the best dollar bin find in the history of dollar bins. We bought because we've watched sex in the city and wanted to see Sarah Jessica Parkers early work. But the amount of enjoyment that we gained from watching this movie and Tom Shea's facial expressions was worth so much more then a dollar. This movie is as touching as it is cheesy and strangely unpredictable.Sarah Jessicas wardrobe was not only highly enjoyable but rather classy. Our only wish was that the final kiss at the end was longer. This movie was a pleasant surprise and is now a favourite in our collection We advise you that if you ever come across this film in a dollar bin BUY IT!
"Wow a horse!" -Tom Shea
House M.D. (2004)
Love it but it's not perfect.
I love this show. I love it so much i own the first season on DVD. I love Hugh Lauries portrayal of Dr. House. I'm also a Robert Sean Leonard fan, his characters relationship with Dr. House is a big reason i love this show.
However this show is unrealistic in a lot of ways and clichéd. For instance almost everyone lives. House saves the day like everyday. On another of my favourite shows Scrubs patients die everyday but on house ooooh no they have to find a cure god forbid some one DIE! Moving on. Some of the characters are so clichéd it hurts to watch them. Dr. Cameron for one is by far the character i loath the most. She is a cry baby, over sensitive, and has such a hero-worship crutch whatever you want to call it with Dr. House. It's sickening, her character 'the pretty damaged girl' is so played out. She always has the same look on her face and is so one dimensional. Maybe this character would be different if they got some one with talent to play the part. Now Dr. Chase (besides the awful very TV name) has so potential but all we know is he's rich and he has greasy hair. He's one of the most unexplored characters on the show. He seems just to placed there to be the mid point between anti house Eric Foreman and House whorshipping Cameron Eric foreman played by Omar Epps is also very run of the mill put there to be a thorn in House's side and surprise he's JUST LIKE HOUSE! That's original. Honestly all the characters are tolerable except Dr. Cameron ( I would hate to have her as my Dr!!!!!!!!) To put an end to my ranting this is a very good show, one of the best produced by fox. Put aside the insufferable pretty girl and the guys who's just rich and the guy who's out to get house but is just like him and it's a very enjoyable show. Definitely worth it to watch Robert Sean Leonards and Hugh Lauries banter.
