The first thing i did after watching the movie was call up parents....that in itself tells the success of the movie. This movie can make anyone emotional ,with the vintage music and movie scenes perfectly intertwined.
The direction is ok. Not much to appreciate yet not a let down.
The screenplay was awesome. Every scene done perfectly well. The execution is perfect..
The cinematography is beautiful. The colour grading is done exceptionally well. The vintage looks does wonders.
The cast, again a perfect combo. The romance, the family emotions, everything conveyed to the audience perfectly.
The story is one of the biggest positives. Simple yet gets you completely off guard. The is appears raw, like there isn't any big storyline or anything, it is so light and beautiful.

Oh man..... this one was splendid. Speechless, edge of the seat. As i am watching this late, i was waiting for the hero's entry and boy, did the movie deliver it! Throughout the movie you want the hero to win, the director has somehow found a way to make us feel that way. My heart was pounding throughout the duration of the movie. It is definitely going to glue your eye to the screen.
The direction and screenplay is out of the world. He has even managed to capture the father daughter sentiments in this all round action movie.
The cast is wonderful. Everybody did justice to their role.
The story is fantastic. Its like desi version of John Wick. I would definitely love to see a sequel.
Overall its an outstanding movie.

This movie is a solid tribute to Hrithik. Each and every scene is tailor cut for him. First half is just some random stunts which actually can bore most of the audience, but it keeps getting better towards the end with the plot twist being completely unpredictable. A little more focus on story and this could have become a solid entertainer throughout its duration.
The direction and screenplay is terrific, even though you sometimes get irritated by the artificial camera shake that doesn't match with the scenes. Strike that out and this is a masterpiece.
The cast is awesome. Hrithik shines throughout.
The story could have been better. A small premise and an almost familiar one too, yet sprinkled with surprises.
Overall an above average movie.

You can call it beginners luck, or pure talent but this doesn't feel like a first venture at all. The team has done a splendid job. The array of actors is obviously the highlight. Everybody gets an equal share of stardom in this movie. I cannot point to a hero, nor is it necessary. The slomo fight sequence is a let down. It was completely unnecessary. Rest everything was done perfectly.
The direction and screenplay is a plus. The shots is beautiful. The location even more. Overall its pleasing to watch.
The cast is a blend of newcomers and pioneers and it works perfectly fine.
The story is good too. There is lot going on, but still the screenplay has made it easier to follow. Job well done.

The movie just flows perfectly, everything is executed neatly. This one will definitely seek your undivided attention and you will be more than happy to give the same. This will try to mess with your mind as you try to figure out what is happening, what is going to happen, and what happens in the movie will be a surprise for you. Definitely appreciate the way it is taken, the scenes is stacked up greatly, any discrepancies in the sequence of the sequence would have seriously messed up the movie. Another important aspect is the amount of research they have done to keep the plot holes at bay. Detailing is key in this movie.
The direction and screenplay is awesome. The screenplay especially does a great job in registering the confusing story into your mind.
The cast is good. It rides on the main character played by Arjun, he being an able actor has pulled it off.
The story is the star. The twists and turn will definitely surprise you and will keep you engaged.

First of all, Atlee has stuck with his usual winning formula for this film also, a different film but the same format, but there is nothing wrong with that as long as it seems fresh. He wins again in that aspect.
The movie touches upon some important social issues and stigmas and managed to capture the emotions regarding those.
The first half is a feast for the fans. The backstory of Bigil and Rayappan had been played well by Vijay. Sometimes you doubt that it is being played by a single actor, it was that perfect. The sentiments around the father son relationship has been executed and captured perfectly. The first half is filled with mass and class scenes with superb dialogues that you expect from a Vijay movie.
The second half is where the emotions kicks in. This half of the movie will definitely fill all women audience with a sense of pride. With the female anthem 'singapenney' adding to the already grand visual treat. The VFX in the football matches were pretty bad in the beginning but it really stepped up in the second half. The rich storyline had definitely taken a toll on the movie by increasing the duration. Some of the football matches scenes could have been trimmed.
The direction and screenplay was upto the mark.
The cast was perfect. Nayantara deserves a special mention along with the football team. They played an exceptional role in the emotional aspect of the movie.
The story is good, the message it seems well and good.
The music direction was awesome.
Another movie that adds to the winning streak of the actor and director combo.

I always wonder when i watch a superhero movie, what might have caused the guy to become a villain. This movie is the perfect answer to the question why joker was the joker you saw on the dark Knight saga. I never another director could pull it off but they did.
In the beginning you get a feeling that the directors relies heavily on the actors ability to act, but as the movie progresses you find that the direction actually complements the acting skills. The subtle detailing in almost all the scenes is yet another positive of the movie. The first few minutes of the movie tries hard to get your attention, but when it succeeds to grab your attention you will be on the edge of your seat. Its definitely a masterpiece.
The direction and screenplay competes with one another. Both exceeds your expectations.
The cast is another plus. Actor has done wonders.
The story perfectly connects the dark Knight saga. It even makes you want to see the dark Knight again. A special psychological drama that gives you almost everything that you expect from it.

I saw a great potential in the movie, but towards the end you will feel that it could have been done better. There so many good moments, but the bad execution kills it. The dragged events just lets down the plot, they could have easily made the film trimmed, as there were many unnecessary scenes. The message it put forwards is very nice. They meant this one as an inspirational movie, even though it still is, it lacks the lustre that inspirational movies give.
The direction and screenplay is a let down. Could have been done better.
The cast is bad. The child artists were very imperfect. They were a point of focus, and they gave you that ' we are acting' feeling.
The story is good, many unwanted plotlines though. But i think the acting is the culprit.

Asked for a thriller, got a psychological, crime thriller. You will be amazed by the way the crime scene is set up. The mood setting was done seamlessly. The movie was on the verge of slipping into horror genre, it even had some supernatural components. The backstory also was a added punch. The portrayal of the villain was awesome. The title of the movie is apt. When you look at the movie in a certain way, you find that it resembles video game.
The direction and screenplay fails sometimes,but can't complain since they have done so much. Paranormal activity style direction in some places.
The cast is cool. The actress has done everything nicely. Actually she is the core of the movie.
The story is awesome. Fresh content. I didn't find any inspiration.

A super bold attempt, i am amazed that they could pack all of this in a movie of this genre. Movie has been used as a tool for telling the plight of local police and also of the government. Every moment has been done precisely, it will make you anticipate majority of the time and that is definitely the best thing about this movie. You will get a natural vibe from this movie. The highlight is up until the climax, the movie can easily keep you glued to the screen even though there isn't much action. The message portrayed in the movie is very relevant.
The direction and screenplay is simply amazing. The thriller like experience that they achieved without much action is noteworthy.
The cast is A plus. Nothing to complain. Only appreciation.
The story is little bit weak, but that ain't the main focus of the movie. Sometimes a small premise is enough.

This movie is a very bold attempt. The movie can definitely hold you, the movie can easily get you in the films mood. The message that it wanna forward, the emotions suffered by the characters ,everything is delivered perfectly. And the way its shot is very interesting. I love the narration like style, it has a peculiar charm to it. The acting of some characters seemed artificial, but if there was an hike in the production value,then this would have been one superb film, not that now its not, but there are a lot of substance missing.
The direction and screenplay is magic. The peculiar style works perfectly, i dont know if it was straight from the book but it looked very nice. The direction has made sure that any amatuer could pull of the character.
The cast is ok. Change of cast would have been a plus for this movie. They did it best with what they have got.
The story is the star. You never expect the ending or the way the story goes. It takes a turn here and there and lets the audience fill the blanks.

Never expected to see this kind of movie in Bollywood and to see that this got accepted by the audience is something positive and negative. The movie portrays the age old dilemma of marrying a younger person. This movie has a lot of silent messages, it almost gets into the problems related to this kind of marriage and doesn't immerse in it which is a good thing since this movie is supposed to be fun. This movie depends heavily on the audience,either you like it or you hate it.
The direction and screenplay is nothing special.the director has managed to deliver peppy feeling throughout. Thumbs up to that.
The cast, hmm..i cant think of a replacement. Good choice.
The story is Fresh, seen nothing like this in Bollywood.

There is nothing new here, same old comedy, same old story, same old drama. I didn't get anything that i didn't expect. The story went exactly like i imagined it to be. It might have been a thing back in the days, but these days watching this just tells us how the movie industry has grown. Especially how much Dhanush has grown as an actor. The only plus is the message the movie offers. Rest all fails. This was just a normal old hero centric movie.
The direction and screenplay is average.
The cast is good except for the actress, who played the role very badly. Even the character seemed wrong.
The story is nothing new. Just the same old story with punchy dialogues scattered throughout the movie. And i will definitely appreciate the dialogues, it was creative and effective.

Adrenaline rush whole throughout the movie. The greatest thing is this movie will hook you to this franchise. This movie gives every bit of the action the first one offered and more. In fact this one had a lot of emotions associated unlike the first one as it was limited to the first half of the movie. This movie dives into John's vulnerability. The cliffhanger, thats the main highlight of the movie. I think they have a successful franchise here. They weren't planning a sequel to the first movie, it was evident in the first half of this movie, where the movie struggles with the plot. But as soon as it gets into the track, it takes you on a exciting trip.
The direction and screenplay was awesome. Action scenes on point.
The cast is the same, nothing much has changed.
The story was the negative part of the first movie, this movie does put a little more emphasis on story and it has worked well.

The film begins right where it left. We get a glimpse more of John wicks life and his vulnerability. I think they weren't planning a sequel, so the beginning of the movie is okeyish as they try to find the right plot but towards the end this one engages you and even makes you wait for the next sequel. No compromise on action in this one, you get every bit of what you saw on the first movie and more. I had little complain that the first movie wasn't much gruesome, but they solved it here less gunshots and more pencils and knifes. They have a good chance at making this a successful franchise.
The direction and screenplay worked out well. There are more emotions at work, the fight scenes on point. Stunts ,everything executed perfectly.
The cast haven't changed much.
The story, well this one has a little bit of story. And its good too.

As an Indian audience, we think why Hollywood doesn't offer over the top action movies, and this one proves us wrong. A really over the top action movie, enjoyed almost every bit of it. The adrenaline kept pumping as the movie progressed. Loved how the director managed to convey the emotions so seamlessly. A f...... Bad... Movie . Please fill the dots ( it was a positive response). The main character is kinda like the superhero that we all wanna see in a Hollywood movie. Even though at certain points i lost my concentration, the majority of the movie didn't loose my attention, some action scenes was 'no blink' challenge, if at all u blinked you loose all the action.
The direction was on point. I definitely have to praise the guy in bringing about emotions in such an intense action packed film and also in that restricted duration.
The cast, well only one guy needs to be appreciated and you know who that is.
The story, well there isn't much of a story. That might be a negative of the movie. The premise of super short.

Even though this one is a superb thriller, the execution is very bad. especially the first half of the movie, where you find that everything including acting, direction is amateur. I dont know if that had been done on purpose as you will feel a significant increase in the standard of the movie in the second half, in fact you will be overwhelmed by the increase. You will begin appreciating the vision of the movie as the movie progresses through the second half.
Definitely found a lot of plot holes, but never mind those. The background music sometimes seemed iritating as it seemed to be on a loop.
The direction is under average on first half,but it became almost professional in the second. The screenplay was good all throughout the movie.
The cast is commendable. There were a lot of new faces but none spoiled the movie, everybody did their job good.
The story was awesome. No words. It was the biggest plus of the movie. The twist and turns, everything was great. The detailing too was done perfectly.
Overall an above average movie.

The whole events in the first half and majority of the second half of the movie will make you hate the negative characters to the max, they have managed to do that perfectly. You will experience a thirst for revenge as the movie progress, and in the end that's exactly what you get, but when you get it, its over the top. Looses the naturallity the movie was trying to establish. Nevertheless, it doesn't fail to thrill.
Most of the time we feel that we want to press the fast forward, as the movie has been stretched to this duration, and the urge for a revenge continue to increase so its hard to keep watching the lagging part of the movie.
The direction and screenplay is mesmerising. The vintage looks and the usage of sound to make the movie more thrilling was done perfectly.
The cast is again a plus. Nothing to complain.
The story, is an out of the box Idea. The premise is small.

The character portrayed by the hero seemed unconvincing. The romantic pair is the main highlight of the movie.
The direction and screenplay is awesome, a job well done.
The cast is superb, nobody is wasted, everybody is used to the maximum.
The story is one of the downside, it offered nothing new, the story will be the reason why this movie will still be a mainstream rom com movie.

The main highlight of the movie is the film score. It has definitely allowed to movie to express better since the cast is average. Each and every scene is on point, nothing more nothing less. The movie has a lot of social relevance, it definitely speaks for the people, that might be the reason for the good welcoming of the movie by the audience. The songs elevates the movie and makes it pretty much fun to watch.
The direction was ok. Didn't find any fault in it. The screenplay is again very nice, lot of artistic license used but put to good use.
The cast is average but apt. The important characters are given to more strong actors. The acting was good.
The story is very good. The back story is again very good. The emphasis of friendship seemed lacking in some places, but overall done pretty well.

This one is definitely Hollywood level. I cant believe they pulled it off. The action, VFX is top notch. For an action movie, this one is an achiever, but as a movie i would say this falls apart in some places. I wouldn't complain about the story much, i felt that they had a lot to tell but they failed to deliver, poor screenplay is the culprit. Most of the time, we fail to recognise whats going on.
The direction is again top notch, I cant believe this is the directors second venture. Its quiet unbelievable. But the screenplay is worst, it definitely lets down the movie, if it had been better then this would have been one hell of a ride.
The cast is remarkable, every role done perfectly.
The story is cool, with lot of twist and turn it will definitely hold you in seat.

The turn of events in both the first half and the second half of the movie is insane. It has managed to capture every bit of attention. Thriller to the core.
The direction and screenplay is refreshing. I definitely noticed the amount of work done in direction, it added more clarity.
The cast again is another strong point of the movie. Definitely not a big cast, but has done their job perfectly.
The story is awesome. Raises voice against a major social evil that has gained popularity in India in recent times.

Too much drama for a sports film. The punchy adrenaline rush that you expect from this genre is missing in this film. The cast has done wonders in making me feel good about this movie. The backstory is a plus, without the backstory i dont think this movie has anything good. There was one fight scene that delivered the right emotions,the rest were put together to stretch the movie. And that too is another negative, this film could have easily been trimmed, since the cast is capable they didn't have to extend the scenes to deliver the emotions.
The direction and screenplay was awesome. The fight scenes were well choreographed except for some parts but its required for the Bollywood touch.
The cast is superb.
The story is wonderful, especially the backstory which fitted right in the movie.
I see that they have taken inspiration from many movies in this genre.
