The Fall of the House of Usher (2023)

Boring..overlong.. Messy.. a big big disappointment

Flanagan is a good director .. feel like that he leans too much on the " current day" stuff in every series he's done , but I don't think that has diminished the narrative .. Until now .. it's just toooooo much diversity for a single story lol .. also like literally 70% of the series is that everyone is gay.. like literally everyone..it's incredibly not believable the whole family and stuff .. it just didn't work for me this time .. story is boring , feels like an eternity to get going.. man are just complete idiots or woman puppets...scary? Not even close .. I mean if someone finds this scary then Horror as a genre has died .. repetitive scenes of dead people and that it.. The only good thing about this series is how much I come to appreciate Hillhouse and Midnight mass even more.. hopefully Flanagan goes back to cinema .. out of Netflix reign and see what else can he do.

It is simple .. To me, Ari Aster is the most creative director working in Hollywood.. This is the kind of movies that never get to be made because how hard is to sell the idea to an audience but most importantly, to a studio.. A24 clearly believe in Aster.. Its the only company that could back him up all the way as they did.. You will love it, or you will hate it, but no one will deny that the movie is something youve never seen before, and for that only Ari deserves an standing applause and recognition .. Phoenix as usual, embodies the character, he is the perfect Beau .. we are witnessing one of the best actors of our generation feeling confident, feeling complete in every aspect of the film..

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

I believe that the overall rating above 6 is confirmation that Marvel fans will accept anything Disney throws to them

It's incredible how this was green lighted .. Female Thor OUT OF THE NOTHING starts showing her skills with a hammer that she grabbed 5 minutes before 🤣... the first 30 minutes are cringe to say the least.. Nothing makes sense..Gorrs presentation is super forced, super fast forwarded..Bale clearly trying his best to give a sense of motivation to a character written by 10 year olds .. he deserves WAY BETTER than that..

Marvel has lost track of everything .. it's simple .. they need to go back to initial strategies.. I get it , woke trends, feminist trends etc but Jesus Christ you can't destroy mythology just cause you can .. Thor is such an incredible story..

You have to respect fandom.. Fandom is the reason why COMICS EXIST.. is very simple to understand..

Taika and Jordan Peele are the most overrated directors working right now in my opinion... period.

The Batman (2022)

What an incredible experience .. TDK still stands the number one spot , but damn this one got very close .. The Batman movie all comic book fans were waiting for...completely unexpected result.. It is beyond a superhero movie, this is a Dark Thriller that changes everything .. DC should keep this path .. waiting for the second one already .. Matt Reeves is amazing... Pattinson prove everyone wrong.. and Paul Dano, one of the most underrated actors of our generation giving a stellar performance..

Choreography was fine , until the 3 fight cause is repetitive .. everything starts becoming so boring.. cliche .. stereotypical I would say.. there are better Jet Li or Jackie Chan movies in my opinion if you are into the genre .. i get it , it's a marvel movie , people feel like is super different and well I guess it is in a way but to me many key points are terrible forced .. the acting is bad , sorry but it is .. I think awkafina was ok but a little to much as the corky sidekick... and sadly I couldn't find appeal with the lead actor ..

There's someone saying that The Shinning is more scary than this .. hmmm HELL NO.. in what world ! Haha .. The shinning is a classic but in no way , shape or form is anything near than this... At least 3 of the most disturbing scenes I've ever seen in any horror movie ever are in it here .. Is not just the gore ... is the cinematography .. I mean why isn't anyone praising Jane Levy for her incredible performance! .. she literally plays the two sides in perfect believable way.. great remake that will please the gory thirst and the real horror fans..

Homicide will never ever justify choosing a bad partner in life ..

It was like reviving that 2000s lawyer dramas .. Bryan is amazing.. the whole cast, even the idiot son were great.. TAKE A NOTE Hollywood, this is what WE the customers want!! .. enough with your current thrash.. Hope for a second season.

Disney as we knew it, as we grew up watching is gone... no morals.. no nothing.. the words HELL and DEVIL being exposed as a cool and good thing by a Disney movie shocked my entire family while watching .. Directing this ideas towards children, I mean .. what is going on .. Emma is great tho..

Soul (2020)

Every single kid watching it fell asleep more than 2 times.. This is not for kids... it is complex, dark and very slow pacing story.. I get the message but it didn't resonate on me the way many reviewers are saying .. Many plot holes..

Also, there are a lot of similarities between this one and Inside out, a way better movie than this tho ..

Looks incredibly low budget..story is unintentionally funny... Pascal character is a complete mess..Kristen Wig trying to be serious is one of the worst casting choices in a long time.. Gal is the most beautiful woman in the damn world.. I literally just sat thru the whole thing just to see her..She is fantastic and looks that she tried the best that she could with the movie.. So please, enough with the INCEL NATION against the movie ... it is bad , and easily the biggest disappointment of the year..

Something very very wrong ( or fishy) happen from the first one to this.. it's the same director but it doesn't look that way... The movie looks like the work of an amateur ..

Im still processing this masterpiece...the shots,the way the scenes were planned, the cinematography, the acting, the whole damn idea...the art ( get the directors cut collectors edition) Ari Aster has become my fav director..by far.. Say what you want, NO ONE is taking this kind of projects and risks right now, and that should be applauded..

Really , the hate I read on So many reviews is Kinda funny .. even tho this could be not your type of movie ( cause is not for everyone) in NO FREAKING WAY you can trust de 1/10 reviews..even if you find it silly or boring for your taste, the are so many factors that can't be disputed as great ..

I dont even know how the hell to even start... But is obvious the political agenda behind this hollow s*** of movie... it was the beginning of this clown era we are living in right now.. No one laughed while watching it.. Literally no one... Not a single joke created a reaction.. What bothers me the most is that absolutely love the first one, so many funny moments.. Why?!! Why going this direction?!!

This Is a movie that nailed the balance of being a superhero Flick , a thriller and a psychological drama... Everything feels real, you forget this Is a superhero movie.. There have been great superhero movies along since 2008 .. But the bar set by Nolans Epic it will be imposible to match .. Logan got somehow close though..
