Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel (2021)
Unnecessary Narration with Good Visuals
4 Episodes is unnecessary for this story. Reality was quite tragic. More emphasis on mental health should have been the part of documentary. Traveling to an unknown territory having mental issues and medications all alone is quite a risk anyone can do. People need to be advocated and the documentary should have been stressed on this part. Netflix wanted to make it look like a horror crime thriller by making it all about YouTube conspiracy theorists who wasted their time and energy, who abused and destroyed a career of an artist and panicked themselves and the whole world with their theories without proper backup of conclusive evidence. The whole third episode was completely unnecessary.
This story should remain as an example for all the parents to care about their children and their mental health closely. I really wonder why they sent her all alone on a trip when she reportedly suffered because of undertaking medications before.
My final take is, 4 Episodes is unnecessary, too much emphasis on YouTube sleuths is unnecessary who don't have all pieces of the puzzle and started acting with emotions rather than logic. They didn't fixate on one point and started jumping to conclusions very rapidly. Story would have been told in 40 minutes like a DW Documentary.
Parks and Recreation: Galentine's Day (2014)
Too Much
I find it really bad to see that Leslie is trying to find a replacement for Ann by ranking other people comparing them to Ann. I mean, can't you really accept people for what they are rather than comparing them to one single person you love with so much unnecessary obsession? And can't you be by yourself for a while and be friends with Ann over phone like you do in a real life scenario.
This is what I hate about Leslie, too much of selfish obsessive love towards a person or a thing.
Game Night (2018)
SIT BACK.. GRAB SOME POPCORN.. ENJOY THE GAME NIGHT
I thoroughly enjoyed the film. No expectations as such. Just a fan of Jason Bateman. It deserves more that 7/10 I suppose. A well made comedy.
Rangasthalam (2018)
A must watch for all the global cinema audience
Sheer brilliance from Sukumar. He delivered once again. After a stylish thriller 1 Nenokkadine, this will be his best work till date. Unpredictable, brilliant performance from Ramcharan. You'll get the pure village environment through out the movie. For NRI's and non Indians out there, you can witness how an Indian village, especially an Andhra village was 30 years ago. The kind of politics existed at that time, the kind of people existed, you can feel everything throughout the movie. You won't feel lengthy though it's for 3 hours. Brilliant perfomances from all the cast, excellent work behind the lens by Rathnavelu, nice re recording by DSP. And for all the North Indians and foreigners, you won't witness old age boring fights with unnecessary sound effects. You'll witness the most realistic fights and they'll make the audience sit on the edge of their seats. After a long time, this director came forward to take the actions scenes to the most realistic level, which is obviously Hollywood level.
FINALLY, IT'S A MUST WATCH CLASSIC WHICH HAPPENS VERY RARE ESPECIALLY IN INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY.
