Extremely helpful in this time of chaos

Seems the world is getting more divided and filled with hate. Many of us due to COVID are now working from home while dealing with mental health, loneliness, addiction issues and you name it. This is one show that honestly helps me find peace and even hope when at times it can feel there is none. Bob Ross is an amazing person who has helped many people he will never meet. I'm one of them, perhaps he can help you too.

It's always enjoyable to watch the people he ridicules act exactly as he describes them after one of his shows. Predictably the Twitter, Reddit and liberal media hive mind is throwing a fit about him talking about what everyone else thinks. And I assure you, they do.
Anyway, a lot of laughs but a little more serious than usual and at times he seems to let his frustration with these same mentally unwell elements of society get him so annoyed that he loses some focus on comedy and more focus on venting. Still a good show and worth a watch.

Stick the theme music in the intro and end credits and call it Unsolved Mysteries I guess. Absolutely nothing about this show is Unsolved Mysteries. One episode per show is drawn out, music during the show isn't creepy or UM like in any way, no narrator, no reenactments, pretty typical case selection.
Total flop as far as I'm concerned, absolutely nothing unique about it in any way and it completely blends in perfectly with all the other true crime and missing person shows. Major MAJOR letdown

I'm done with this show, this finale was just the icing on the cake of an abysmal season. What was a masterpiece in storytelling, mystery and meaningful characters in season 1 has been reduced to just a generic sci-fi action show with terrible action sequences, boring characters, wasted characters, stupid plot points, lame shoe-horned in surprise moments that have no value or contribution to anything and plot arcs that go nowhere.

Pretty good film but not even close to living up to the hype of the praise it gets. My guess is that the Hollywood Elite have embraced this movie as a way to virtue signal that they get the suffering and unfairness of it all!

I have a real problem with this documentary - them taking one person's statement of having homosexual sex with Aaron in high school (who knows if that story is even true or if that person is credible) and as a result of that statement taking a hard stance in the documentary that Aaron was actually a gay man in the closet, even his relationship and family just being a cover to hide his true gayness. Like what? What an absolute reach and assumption. It just feels like clickbait and trying to make some drama waves. Even if it did happen, doesn't mean he's gay he could be bi or just had some random sex like a Q from LGBTQ. And what does that even matter, why was that even in the documentary? Again, clickbait. Really took away from the credibility in this doc for me.

Incredibly funny and poignant in this day and age. Takes endless shots at woke culture and just society in general these days. Manys triggered by this show, which is wonderful. Also points out the hypocrisy with the whole hyper-sensitive wokes. Loved it

Finally saw it after 20+ years - wow was this good.

The movie - I thought this would just be a dumb chick flick and that's why I never saw it with my buds in high school when it came out, even though I was in love with Alicia like everyone else. But it's not that at all, just saw it a few weeks ago and it's just this fun and loveable movie that is light hearted and really funny. There is no big villain to overcome and the lead character is strange in a good way in that she is the ditzy rich popular girl but she is not mean and is actually really caring and helpful towards others. The cast is great and a lot of the lines are really funny. I lol'd HARD more than once. And I think the amorphous thing about the movie that is really key is just that I felt happy and in a great mood while watching and afterward. I've since watched it more than once and each time it just puts me in a great mood!
Alicia - Ok, so I was 14 or 15 when she was in The Crush and for high school/junior high kids I think it was fairly well known because MTV made a big deal out of it at the time. Well I watched The Crush and thought she was really cute, then the Aerosmith videos came out and thought she was crazy sexy and cute at the same time. So my experience of Alicia until a few weeks ago watching this was crazy girl in the Crush and sexy silent girl in Aerosmith videos. While watching Clueless I was really shocked at how funny she can be and just how great at acting she is. Like super impressed. It changed my view of her as kind of just this young sex icon to a real deal actress. Now, having said that, I've also got to say that there were times and scenes in Clueless where it's literally just jaw dropping how gorgeous she is. Her eyes, lips, smile, hair - wow, one of the most beautiful combos of everything every to exist I think. And she doesn't have this stereotypical killer bod with giant chest or anything - she's just drop dead GORGEOUS. So that didn't hurt, but like I said, even if she wasn't 10/10 face she's just damn fun to watch and great at acting!
