Gonzo Music Diaries, NYC (2005)
Excellent Documentary on the First Outdoor Concert in Williamsburg, Brooklyn !
Was a fantastic movie that showed the true views of the American People , their duty to oppose the RNC, and the First EVER Outdoor Concert in
Williamsburg, Brooklyn> This is what began the McCarren Park pool
concert series and the outdoor Williamsburg concert scene.
Yeah GONZO > in the true spirit of Hunter S. Thompson who said
"When the Going gets Weird, the Weird turn Pro !".
It includes the inimitable Singer-songwriter,
David Peel and the Lower East side, who was close friends with John Lennon.
It shows the activism against the RNC, back in 2004.
The musical talents of Dana Fuchs and the guitar wizardry from Living Colour's Vernon Reid.
It has the great concert promoter, Ron Delsener, in an unusually informal setting in his office.
The Protest March was like nothing that I've ever seen before !
