Pretty Little Liars: The First Secret (2011)
PEAK Pretty Little Liars
I would definitely argue that this is one of Pretty Little Liars' strongest episodes in a lot of ways. It's hard to describe it as anything other than the epitome of Pretty Little Liars itself. God, Seasons 1-2 were so amazing. The storylines and flashbacks of Alison have been really intriguing to me so far but especially the ones in this episode. Pretty Little Liars is my comfortable but this episode specifically is one I come back to all of the time. As usual, AMAZING performances by Troian Bellasario, Sasha Pieterse, and the actress who plays Jenna. This episode really gave the feeling that we have no idea what's left to come and I love that!
The Batman (2022)
Truly the best Batman film to date!
Everything about this movie was just absolutely perfect and well curated for a Batman movie. It was dark, brooding, aesthetic, violent, and everything you could want from a batman movie. Zoe Kravitz was absolutely perfect as Catwoman, and I can't wait to see more of her. She had great chemistry with Rob Pattinson.
Ghostland (2018)
Great but brutal movie
I know for a fact that I will probably never watch this movie again due to the way that it is and what it portrays but I will say that the story and acting was genuinely very well done and the entire movie for sure keeps you on your feet. Not for lighthearted people as it is very brutal and basically involves the torture of two young teenage girls.
Halloween Kills (2021)
Don't listen to bad reviews!!
It was genuinely good and entertaining, I do nothing understand why people go into a Michael Meyers slasher movie expecting to see a Oscar winning masterpiece. With that being said, the movie was definitely good and entertaining and is obviously a set up for the next one which I think will be even better.
V/H/S/94 (2021)
A step up
I have seen all of the VHS movies and am a fan of the franchise. I wasn't quite sure about this one at first as I felt like the third movie in the series was not well done and fell flat. However I was definitely surprised by this movie and enjoyed it this is for sure one of the better VHS movies and deserves better reviews for what it is.
The New Mutants (2020)
Don't understand the hate?
I genuinely thought this movie was a good and solid movie. Entertaining with good characters and a LGBT lead as well.. I thought that was great. Not the best x-men movie in my opinion but it is most definitely worth your time.
Dýrið (2021)
Just okay.
I definitely love A24 and pretty much every single movie that they have made but I gave this five stars because I genuinely thought it was boring and nothing happened. Beautiful movie, though.
Cobra Kai: No Mercy (2019)
Cobra Kai's Best Episode
This episode was so fast paced and bad ass from start to finish and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Rogue One (2016)
Best Star Wars movie I've seen
This is my favorite Star Wars movie ever. This movie didn't necessarily feel exactly like a star wars movie - and that is exactly what made it good.
The Shape of Water (2017)
A great romance movie (for people with an open mind)
I was so skeptical to watch this movie considering what everybody was saying about it. But once it had ended, I decided that this was actually going to be added on to my list of favorite movies ever. Yes, it's weird. Yes, it's different. And yes, it's not for everybody. (Obviously. That's the point isn't it?) Anyway, I would still recommend this movie to anybody, even if you go into it a little bit skeptical. I'm usually a sucker for romance movies, and this one changed the whole game. 8 stars, give it a watch!
Assassin's Creed (2016)
More of a drama, but that's not a bad thing.
Why so much hate over this movie? I don't understand it. I get that the writers decided to take the story of the video game and make it more into a drama / thriller type movie. But why is that such a bad thing? If this movie had been like just another stupid copy-of-a-video-game movie it wouldn't have been good in my opinion. If you have the time, give this one a watch. Also, Michael Fassbender's performance was great! Still keeping my fingers crossed for a sequel as well.
The Shallows (2016)
This movie was DOPE. Ignore the bad reviews!
I was honestly surprised to come on here to see that the reviews for this movie were actually really not that good. I thought this movie was hands down dope as hell. This is probably the best shark movie to date that I've ever seen. (And I feel like I've pretty much seen all of them.) It's the perfect mix of thriller and shark horror and it definitely had me on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole time. Another good thing about it was it was perfectly timed. Not too short, not too long, with the perfect amount of content. Trust me, you'll be rooting for Blake Lively's character like your OWN life was on the line. Ten stars. Give it a watch and ignore the bad reviews :)
Hereditary (2018)
Honestly just crazy. In a good way.
Once it was over I was so confused and then I was like... WAIT WHAT? This movie was good as hell. Follow it closely and pay attention and you will enjoy every minute of it I guarantee. The ending, about the last 20-30 minutes, was just insane to me. It was disturbing and I absolutely loved it. Watch this!!!! They certainly don't really make movies like this anymore.
He's Out There (2018)
Not great. but pretty okay
This movie wasn't the best thing I had ever seen, but I wasn't expecting it to be. Yvonne is a dope actress though, I've loved her in everything I've seen her in, including this. The ending fight scene between Laura and the Killer however, was really good and intense to me. Had me on the edge of my seat. So, if you have time to kill, give it a shot.
Falling Skies (2011)
amazing... for a while
The first three seasons were just absolutely outstanding to me! the storyline, characters, and plot were all very intriguing and made you want to binge watch the whole thing in one sitting. after season four started though, it eventually went downhill and began to not be so good anymore. still an amazing show either way, but the writers ruined it towards the end.
