Not bad, but not good either. Average.

This is not a bad movie, like most of the other reviews make it look. However, It wasn't good either. It was average - a movie that I wouldn't watch again because there is nothing new to see or discover the second time.

I didn't hate the movie. I thought the acting at some points was poor and the script was forced, but apart from that, everyone did their job. Some parts could have been improved in terms of making it more realistic.

Overall, I am giving Aftermath a 6 out of 10. I really wanted to like the movie more but I just couldn't.

Missed Opportunity

There are bad movies, and there are stupid movies. Somehow, this one managed to be both.

I can't begin to describe how disappointed I am after seeing this movie. I was very much looking forward to seeing it, and after seeing the trailer, I thought this was going to be one of the best animated movies 2016 will bring to the big screen. I was wrong.

I didn't get to see it in the cinema so when it came out on Blu-Ray - I bought it straight away. I only recently watched it, and now I feel so stupid, not just for losing my £15 but for also wasting nearly 2 hours of my life.

I will not spoil the movie as there are so many more detailed reviews you can read about what actually happens, but the one thing I would like to say is that this was a missed opportunity.

The life of our food and their journey from the supermarket to our homes - sounds like a good concept. Shame it wasn't executed right, and rather than funny, we got a very silly movie that I can't wait to sell and not watch every again.

The Fate of the Furious (2017)

Did we all watch the same movie here?

To all the people who wrote a negative review about this movie - you are simply not a fan of the franchise so let me ask you - why did you go to see the movie? Hold on - the real question here is - did you actually go to see the right movie? Because from what I am reading, a lot of people might be high, confused or slightly disorientated of what is happening here.

This is simply ONE OF the best films in the franchise. Why? Let's divide the movie into two sections - the action and the story. The action scenes were absolutely utterly brilliant in every single possible way. The way it was directed, shot and edited made me, for the first time, want to watch the same movie again right after it finished. The fighting, racing, dialogue, jokes and the amazing choice of music was so sophisticating that I can't begin to imagine how one can not like it. I really can't.

The second phase was the story. Now I now a lot of people are having problems with the story, because according to them, it didn't make sense. Why? Why doesn't it make sense? What were you expecting to see?

Dom and Deck are now friends? Well they bloody are. Dom wasn't there when Deck was introduced to the group. Deck saved Dom's child so why wouldn't Dom like him? Yes, Deck killed Hank, but does it really matter when the whole movie was mostly based around Dom trying to save his child, and earlier in the movie, Elena? Well, he got there in the end, again, with the help of Deck.

And now that's sorted, I personally think the story was really good. It wasn't the best story ever made, but for the franchise, the story was better than some of the previous movies. But that's how it goes here, some are good, some are not so good.

Overall, I am giving this film 10 / 10 because it truly deserves it.

Finding Dory (2016)

Beautiful, Funny, Touching

What is wrong with people today? Do you understand anything about movies at all? If you gave, or about to give Finding Dory anything below 6 stars ( even 6 is too low ) then you should probably never see a movie again. I went to see this with my girlfriend today and we both absolutely adored every bit of it - it was cute, funny, touching and beautifully animated - the details were astonishing, interesting characters and breath holding environments. The story itself was excellent - although many people might not realise that there is much more to it than Marlin and Nemo finding Dory - It's about Dory finding Dory - finding who she truly is - finding her parents but also herself through memories and old friends. I can not begin to describe how much it frustrates me seeing people being so foolish and blind - I bet your children understand movies better than you.

I can not wait to own this on Blu-Ray and am giving it 10 truly deserved stars.

Se7en (1995)

Good movie - not the greatest.

It was probably clever to make a film like this back in the 90s, but if this was released yesterday, nobody would rate it as high as they are. I saw this yesterday after hearing good things about it, and it did indeed live to my expectations, however I didn't think it was the greatest murder story nor the greatest film of the 90s.

The first half of the movie was incredible. The second half of the movie was a bit of a let down. There wasn't much of a thought in the way they found the killer, it was rushed and a bit unrealistic. When the killer gave himself up later on, the movie was pretty much finished for me. I was expecting a good solution to a good crime, but no - a couple of hints left behind each murder scene didn't make this movie the greatest, as most people say.

The end was both predictable and unpredictable - nobody knew what was going to happen, but we all had the idea of what might happen - and it did happen.

Overall, a good watch - has its moments and I would definitely watch again because of how good the characters played their roles rather than the story.

Dinner for Schmucks (2010)

The perfect film!

OK. First I want to begin by saying how pathetic everyone here looks when pretending to be a movie critic. Well, let me tell you something, you don't understand anything from movies, and next time you are about to give 1 or 2 stars on a movie like this, consider throwing your DVD player away, because you don't deserve to own one.

This was the most entertaining and touching movie I have seen in a while. I love Steve Carell and he did not disappoint as well as the rest of the cast. Why did I give this movie a 10 star rating? Because it delivered what I expected, because it made me and the people around me laugh and because this movie deserves a higher rating.

Simple as that, that's all I want to say.

Try having fun and stop being miserable with your fake ratings.

Into the Woods (2014)

What an incredible act!!!

First of all I want to say that I am tired of reading bad reviews, on a movie that is not bad at all. I should say this was one of the most enjoyable acts I have seen In a long time. A lot of people seem to say that it was disturbing, boring, and confusing. Confusing? If you can't understand a Disney musical, then what are you doing in the cinema? If you found this boring then you don't deserve to watch movies at all.

What a BRILLIANT introduction to the whole story and what a WONDERFUL ending!! I enjoyed every song throughout the act and every word had a meaning and a strong message behind. I don't usually write reviews but all the reviews and people pretending to know a good musical is just angered me so much!

Conclusion is - If you want to go and watch a nice, relaxing, funny and very well made musical by Disney - please go and enjoy! Please don't listen to all the bad reviews, they don't know what on earth they are talking about!
