This would have been enjoyable for small children if not for explicit content. Now it's not enjoyable for anyone. This is painfully bad and it almost physically hurt me to watch this movie until the end.

Deviation from the books didn't bother me here

It just looks ridiculous, that whole first scene... And the CGI in this episode looks horrible.
Some of the acting is terrible (main cast is good though). That "to the dragon!" part got me laughing out loud at how bad it looked, I just hope things will improve, but if the acting wasn't so bad sometimes, combined with laughable fighting and CGI I would've liked this episode.

In the Dark
(2019–2022)
Ok, this show doesn't deserve a 10, but it sure as hell deserves a solid 7,5.

I´ve only seen 4 episodes, but I think the series is really well done.
They´ve even incorporated comic book background stories.
To quote Sebastien Castell from an entirely unrelated bookreview that fits perfectly here:
´´Young adult fiction tends to explicitly imagine the world as filled with all the unfairness that one senses as a teenager. That's an important function for any literature: to make literal and concrete that which we often know is wrong but can't quite put our finger on it - to give proof to those impressions that make being a teenager such a difficult time for many of us.´´
