An error has ocurred. Please try again"Time travel" can sometimes have a vague definition, particular for movies with more elements of fantasy than science. But I've included movies that "feel" like time travel to me (Groundhog Day, for example), though not everyone would agree on their qualifications.

Reviews
Edmond (2005)
Racist, Sexist Drivel
I'm sure there is a message in there somewhere but it is hard to see behind all the pompous tripe. I've enjoyed some other Mamet films so I'll stick with them.
Curvature (2017)
Some brilliant concepts going on here
This is more cerebral than your average time travel movie, which is saying a lot because most time travel movies are messing with your head from the start. This one has an interesting premise, that is hard to describe without spoilers, but in general terms it is looking at the grandparent paradox and one way the universe might force consistency out of it. There is a recent time travel book called Version Control that does much the same thing, choosing to create paradoxes in the universe in order to avoid other ones. That means viewers that prefer obvious, explainable loops like Back to the Future will be disappointed by what seem to be inconsistencies in the plot, but those viewers who want to take their time travel game up a notch will have a lot to chew on here, If you pay attention, this one will have you mulling over things for days.
The story is helped along by poignant reflections on grief and human connections. In some ways the grief aspect of the story could have been more developed, but on the other hand it was given more serious screen time than what you would normally see in a movie like this.
Pulling in Linda Hamilton for a cameo was inspired; she really underplayed it.
Time Will Tell (2018)
Thoughtful, poignant mystery that flirts with time travel
This is a solid movie with good acting, a sensitive subject matter treated with compassion, and a suspenseful mystery that keeps you engaged. There were bits of it that seemed slow, but it seemed to unravel at about the correct pace, and the slowness might have been me just being impatient scenes in the main character's current life because I wanted to know more about her forays into the past.
As far as the "travelling" goes, I can see how it can be interpreted many ways, so I leave that to the viewer. If you are interested in time travel as a scientific phenomenon, then this isn't for you, but if you enjoy movies that use it to explore the ramifications of choices and grief, loss, hope, etc. this one is well done. I thought it was presented very well, with a lot of distorted angles, and haunting effects to remind you that something spooky is going on.
The ending changes things, which might throw some people off, but I thought it felt right, and poignant. Probably an 8 rating for most folks who enjoy these types of films, but it pushed all my buttons and made me cry, so I had to give it a 10. Thank you Amazon Prime for exposing me to movies like this!
