The Snoopy Show (2021)
How can anyone not love Snoopy?
I have always loved Snoopy,so I am in love with this show. It's hilarious and heartwarming and so true to what Charles Schulz created. I love that it's broken into segments and that all of the characters are represented.
The music is fun and most of the segments contain a life message that even adults will benefit from.
I subscribed to Apple TV+ to watch the Michael J Fox movie ("Still"), but I'm so glad I kept it.
I think of The Snoopy Show as a "quiet" show, meaning that it's nice to put it on and drift off to sleep.
I hope this show continues for a long time because Snoopy is the best!@@
Archie Bunker's Place (1979)
Thanks, Antenna TV
Thanks to Antenna TV, I've seen every episode of this show at least twice. I'd never really watched it before, but I really like it. Carroll O'Connor was an amazing actor and I love the rest of the cast, especially Danielle Brisboi, who played Stephanie. In some ways I like it better than "All in the Family", but I do love the earlier episodes with Jean Stapleton. This show makes me laugh and while every episode isn't great, they're all worth watching. I like that it's not a "reboot" of "All In The Family ", but rather a "sequel ".
I like the "new" characters like Billie and the patrons and staff of "Archie Bunker's Place "
The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis (1959)
Dobie!!
I have loved "The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis " ever since I first discovered it on "Nick At Nite" back in the 80s.
The cast is great and it's fun seeing Bob Denver in a role other than Gilligan. Dwayne Hickman was wonderful in the title role. He and Sheila Kuhl had such chemistry as Dobie abd Zelda. Although I feel that Sheila wasn't used often enough.
The whole cast was great and the show was hilarious. I still laugh like crazy when Zelda and Dobie squint at each other!
Even though this show is well over 50 years old, it's timeless in that it will always be funny. That's what makes it great.
Happy Days (1974)
Classic
Happy Days is nothing short of a classic, and although I love Henry Winkler to pieces, I prefer the earlier seasons when the show focused more on the Cunningham family. Still, it was family entertainment, funny and had a lot of good messages.
I haven't seen a lot of the later seasons, but I really preferred the show around the second season.
There were so many great guests over the years and I love how much the cast loves each other like a real family.
That's what makes a great show. When the cast loves each other, loves their fans and loves their work.
And did I mention the amazing music??
