Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2012)
It can grow upon you...
I don't know what other people thinking but I LOVE this show. It's pretty amazing and very creative, makes you smile and enjoy when you watch. Yet, it has to improve to get better.
First of all, the plot feels like it does not exist in first few episodes. However, when you keep watching you slowly understand where the show is going. Just like I said in title, It grows on you. You either love or hate this show.
In my opinion, this show is Gravity Falls's and Steven Universe's baby. If you like these shows, you will definitely love this show. And, if you are an adult and still have a child's spirit, not another one of fabricated humans, you will love this show. Because this show makes me think of 5 year old me, who does not aware of how vast and cruel this world is and waves a wand around, say meaningless spells which she heard from her father's old Latin-English glossary. It makes me forget the whole world for a while and let me be this little kid again.
Therefore, if you have a child's spirit, you won't regret.
P.S.: Oh, and if you are a fangirl, you should go and watch without a second thought. This show is made for you, for us. I can guarantee you will love!
Inside Out (2015)
Best Of Pixar
Well, I have to admit. I was near the edge to give up my favorite animation studio. I grew up with Pixar. All of the movies I have watched when I was a little child, it was all Pixar movies and they are still growing up with me.
However, when I heard about making unnecessary sequels to my favorite movies (such as Monster University, Toy Story 4, Cars 3, Finding Dory, The Incredibles 2...) I was very disappointed. Because Disney's and Dreamworks's motto has become "money, money and money". I have given up Disney long time ago. (Actually, I'm re-thinking my decision since Big Hero 6 and How To Train Your Dragon. I love them.) And I was thinking why I liked Pixar. I loved Pixar because all these original and creative ideas. And none of them were created for making money, they all created for us to have fun. In my opinion, "The Classics" should be stay alone without unnecessary sequels.
Therefore, I was nearly gave up Pixar. Until I watched, one of the Pixar's very best movie, Inside Out.
How to Train Your Dragon (2010)
Best Animation I Have Ever Seen.
This is the best animated movie ever! It's breathtaking, amazing and dragon-tastic! You'll definitely love it.
Well, in my opinion, Pixar is way better than DreamWorks SKG. However, DreamWorks has something which no Pixar nor Disney can do:They can make us (fandoms) fall in love with the characters they make.
The script is awesome. And, when you watch it, you do not feel like it is a movie. Talking scenes are so sincere that you do not feel like you are actually watching a movie. It makes you believe.
My most important animation movie credit is, making the audience believe. This is a movie make you believe those legendary creatures. It will definitely make all children -and children souled adults- wonder "Is there an island named Berk?" or "Were there dragons in ancient times?". It even makes an adult believe it. Probably, just for a second, but for a second, they believe there is nothing named "impossible".
Perfect movie. Don't die before watching.
