Just wow. Loved every bit of it
22 August 2023
At first glance, you would hope that it would be just another racing movie. But my God i was proven wrong. Being based on a true story is hard enough to portray in the big screens.

I loved the adrenaline rush it gave me as the plot moves on. Archie as Jann showed pure character and you can literally feel the struggles. Also want to add that I watched it in ScreenX theatre and highly probable that it added to the experience of this well directed movie. David Harbour is as usual was awesome and the character grew on me. Orland Bloom was alright.

The screenplay of the movie was key to the success in my opinion. Enjoyed a movie in theatre after a long time.

Quite a sweet Rom-com
17 November 2022
The combo of Clooney/Roberts was the key to success in this film. They were awesome. Funny, witty, bickering with each other with utmost conviction feels that it is authentic.

But the movie's striking part is the whole scenarios in Bali-Indonesia.

The absolute breathtaking views makes you feel that you want to be a part of that movie. The indo characters did their best to put out a culture which is hardly very well known in the western parts.

Lily's character is also very well thought as how she was so sure for her life to be in Bali and pursue love over a forced career. Not only a rom-com for the young but for other ages too. It shows any relationship can be sparkled if given the right time at the right situation.

Decent action with plot loop holes
8 July 2021
I think there is a notion within the filmmakers that they have to make a decent enough action movie with a rocking trailer and thats what audience would love amidst worldwide pandemic situation. Tomorrow's War was nothing but a one time watch movie. Just another world extinction movie that had a different cast. Saw the casting of JK Simmons pretty pointless as an actor of his caliber should not have such a meek roles. Chris Pratt looked so out for this character. He pushed some comedic points but we all know it was not going to succeed. Not all characters are made for him. Many many plot holes in my point of view and i was literally questioning live when the scenes moved on.

My four stars are for the effort of the CGI and purely nothing else.

heart touching

Films like this should be celebrated for years. I didn't even knew the real story before i watched this movie. It was so wonderfully portrayed by the two main characters. The locations were wonderful. Shows the beauty of life and how to appreciate life and family even in the worst of situations. There are still many underprivileged people that face daily problems like this. the message is simply to try living for themselves and for the people that care for them.

Nothing special but amazing
12 April 2018
There are many movies that resembles this story yet this one is something different. Very genuine acting from all the performers and the story is beautiful. nothing extra ordinary but a simple urban story of a dad finding and discovering his love for his daughter. No major twist but simply put the struggles and coming on between the bonding of families. loved it.

Some story to relate and to remember
12 April 2018
Although i feel the chemistry between Wilson and Roberts does not click at all but the whole attention was drawn by the lead kid actor. He was just exceptional. He brightens the story with his subtle, shy but bold performance. The story that was portrayed could happen to anyone of us and it was so wonderfully put to become a success story. Even though this happens with less people but everyone could relate the struggle, the pain and the stares that the boy gets from his social life. Yet the story shows the hope that there is, the strength to find when family sticks around and the courage that he earns to live in a society which cant really process a little distortion.

heart touching romance
21 January 2017
There are seldom such films that touches my heart and i wish to watch it a few more times. The best book adaptation film after Notebook from Nicholas Sparks. The romance it carries is such beautifully personified by both the characters. The country side scenario of Wilhemina, NC was such soothing views along with the movie plot. Such simple story yet portray a powerful romantic voice. Teresa Palmer was magnificent. Nothing too fancy on her role but a strong personality and the chemistry with Benjamin was enjoying to watch. The dialogues specifically were fantastic and especially the proposing scene. The story says a lot about unconditional and powerful love and that was perfectly crafted by the actors and director. I did not read the book but i think it was no less than it. Will watch it again with loved ones.

Jason Bourne (I) (2016)

Not what i expected
17 September 2016
The hype that was created by the promotions of the film and the film itself was not satisfactory. The first three movies were just amazing and gripping to say the least. This one was looked like a small budget film with very loose story line. I was able to predict many scenes before it was coming as it was very common to just another thriller movie. Matt Damon was okay in portraying Bourne as he had nothing special to perform, it was all just fighting and talking smart which he had already done in many of the other movies. Alicia was also okay and was important to the Bourne affiliation and Tommy Lee Jones was seriously under used. His character was the same kind of character that is present in many intelligence based movies where the director is the bad guy. there was no flare in Tommy's character. Very poorly written screenplay but some action scenes were good.

A Dark thriller that promises more DC future
25 April 2016
It was an out and out dark thriller which shows the beginning of something that is coming for the DC audience in the future. The movie plot creates the upcoming stories and segments for Flash/Aquaman/Wonderwoman and a few others that we fans will be watching in their sequels. Ben Affleck was very good but somehow his nervousness towards such a big Batman role wasn't justified, whereas Henry as Superman was just as relaxed and confident like the Man of Steel portrayal.Gal Gadot as WonderWoman for me was a wonder in a negative way. She is strong but not enough for such a glamorous and strong super character. Loved the fight scenes, they were simple and direct but the main villain was too cartooned, could have been definitely better given the whole mega series it is. Loved how the story ends with a hope that more and more is coming as the Justice League will be formed.

Burnt (I) (2015)
Not so great but no so bad.
8 January 2016
first of all, Bradley is awesome as ever. There isn't a film he does not perform to his level. He is so cool and confident in whatever character he plays, especially in this one as he already played this same Chef character in his early acting career in a TV series. Sienna Miller was okay in this film, as wud any other okay actress wud have done a fine job in this character. I loved that it was more of a British film than an American one as most characters were British due to the London based setup. Story line is all right according to a culinary based movie and it was expected what wud happen at the end. I thought Daniel Bruhl did a great job and justice with his character. He was very good and he pulled the plot where Bradley's character was stepping down.

Going Mars is now fun
6 January 2016
The movie started just like any other adventure movie. The trailer promised a really intriguing story line. This movie is based on a book and for me many things were made differently than the book. Matt Damon was usual a perfect choice for the role. He had to portray the struggle and willingness to survive alone in an absolutely no mans land. I liked the acting of everyone but the plot line was not very interesting. It was very common and obvious that the crew who left him will go and save him at some point and everything will be alright at the end. I watch the 1080p version (i think) and the VFX was magnificent and was true to the story. All in all, it was a good time pass movie, not at all boring and fun to watch

Spectre (I) (2015)

Did not live up to expectation
21 December 2015
James Bond movies must be something you wait for a while and this Spectre was expected to be really good than the others. maybe because it is speculated that Daniel Craig is features as his last appearance as Bond. The movie plot was twisted and was connected to Bond's past but the movie overall was not at all interesting for me. Maybe there were exciting action scenes and something different, but for me there were many dull moments and scenes were stretched just to prove a point that actually didn't work for me. I thought it would be better than Skyfall in many instances, but somehow it was not. Daniel Craig was much moodier this time which made him look stuck up and too serious for his going smooth character in previous films. The main bond lady character was well portrayed but Monica Belucci wasn't relevant to the plot at all in my opinion. Anyways it was an all in all Daniel's film but was not very plot centered for a James bond movie.
