As a fan of the 80s Creepshows, when I found out that this had been reimagined I was ecstatic.
Aside from Black Mirror, The Twilight Zone, Evil Dead and maybe a couple of others, most reboots, remakes and so on really miss the mark (Nightmare on Elm Street anyone? No? How about When a Stranger Calls or It?).
Horror was camp and cheesy in the 80s (the golden era of horror) and this has kept the same feel.
If you're a fan that can accept that nothing will ever live up to the originals but is open-minded enough to enjoy a decent attempt at breathing new life into a classic, this is for you.
