I will not spoil this film by revealing any details.I must say i loved this movie and have waited years for it to be finally made.I Donated a little money to these guys as did a lot of other people.I am really happy they came thru with all the wackiness and fun even better than their first flick "Star Wreck In The Prikining" .That film is a really cool weird fan flick with Star Trek Vs. Babylon 5 stuff thrown in.Obviously a bunch of science fiction fans (like me) as well as people who love Comedy. This film ups the Ante as they got enough money and time to put together some great effects,story,cast, and crew. When you watch it you have to look out for the many little bits of satire throughout the entire film.You can easily miss a quick little shot of a funny Add on a wall or a line from the Cast, ETC.Parts of it reminded me of John Waters and I have loved his crazy films since 1970's days seeing Pink Flamingos. This film is what you get when you put science fiction, comedy, political satire, and I guess making films that are unique.No one has ever made a film like this before and probably never will. An excellent second film by these guys and I hope that soon they will be making us another unique and original film. Demand Iron Sky in Your Area !!! Seig Bile !!!

Great Documentary

I enjoyed watching this documentary and found it informative.I have read a bunch of books on WW2 and enjoy reading of the experiences of a soldier.Most of the stuff I am interested in for WW2 is Eastern Front combat. I learned a few facts watching this and so will you.The story behind the film is really interesting. I would love to be able to watch a film like this one that is from the Russian point of view. If you want to watch something and learn then you ought to check out this cool documentary. There is actual footage of the war as well as photos of the soldier in question.The documentary goes to Russia where we see some of the places the war took place in

This movie was really done well.One of the most moving heroic bloody Russian film I have ever seen.I own a bunch of English subtitled Russian films but I have never seen one like this before.There is some of the communist type propaganda but you will be blown away by this example of what the Russians can do with film. I am really looking forward to being able to purchase a legal English subtitled blu-ray or DVD.Some studio needs to pick this up for the western world. The acting is great.The sets are insane.The CGI effects are not to bad. Seeing hundreds of bodies in all forms of death was really gruesome. This is horror and I hope we never see a war like WW2 again.
as others have noted do not think this movie is all a true story because it is not.there are a bunch of historic inaccuracies as well as some soviet style propaganda but if you forget that fact and just watch it this becomes one gruesome war flick with tons of blood and gore.
also as noted in other reviews the soviets did in fact kill tens of thousands of polish troops in the katyn forest including poles who had fought the Germans in brest before the soviet-German pact. just wanted to add a few notes here as i do agree with others who noted the propaganda/historical inaccuracies in the film. check it out anyways if you love eastern front ww2 stuff.

I had a blast watching this series.I found it on ebay and bought a region 0 PAL boxset that was remastered. The quality of this TV show is just as good as any US TV Show I grew up watching here in the USA. I would suggest this to anyone who enjoys WW2 or spy thrillers.The opening credits and the music just draws you in and then you get a great decently acted series with cool sets and costumes.
The episodes all have decent story lines that range from 1943 - 1945.The last episode takes place after the war ends and Kloss helps to uncover the men who murdered a bunch of civilians. Check it out.You won't be let down.

Enjoyed the new show

No spoilers here.I just want to say I enjoyed the new show.It has gone in a new and creative direction.I am signed on to the new show and will support it.It can only get better.I did not find any serious flaws in this the first episodes. I enjoyed the effects and set.The audio is clean and the picture/colors look good. The ending of the show was cool.There is a cliffhanger like atmosphere in these beginning episodes.Pretty thrilling stuff The flashbacks of the characters provided the needed insight Te beginning was pretty cool.Starts off with a big action thrilling scene. Small appearances from some of the old SG1 stars was cool. I enjoy the characters and I wonder where this show will lead us too.

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed this show and I am pretty angry it was dropped by ABC. I am at a loss as to why this show was not renewed that has millions of viewers watching in this country and millions more in other countries.I have already ordered a DVD set and so have many others.If you enjoyed this show then buy the DVD when it comes out in august. There are various groups on the Internet who are working to send letters and emails to ABC and the Sci-Fi Channel in the hopes that the show will come back for a second season. It is to bad that my favorite genre of science fiction has so many cool shows that have never been given the chance for "closure". ABC left us all with a real cliffhanger and we are angry we will never know where this cool and well done show would of gone.
