Killers (2014)
Directors The Mo Brothers Justify the Title
I got this movie almost 2 months ago but didn't got the subtitles so wait for them, yesterday i got them and without even wasting a single moment i start this movie and the best thing about this movie was that it didn't bore me, because the last Asian movie bores me to death....
Now coming to the plot.... Plot was simple no hidden surprises no funny business nothing. A professional psychopath killer kills young women for amusement, for his peace of mind and capture those killings on camera and upload them on internet, he's a professional so he didn't use his own computer to upload these videos. On other hand a journalist from jakarta got too impressed with those videos and unintentionally create a complicated relationship with that professional psychopath killer. They start making conversation about killings and one killer suck out another killer from a common man, in my views not accidentally but intentionally....
In my Views Killings was not that brutal or disturbing, there could be more gore and disturbance and violence if mo bothers try little hard, but overall killings was good not the best. Dialogues was fantastic one of my favorite was "First Kill is always unplanned & unintentional that is why it is untitled". Secondly acting was fantastic by both killers it was my second experience with Oka Antara have to say he's a talented actor second killer "Kazuki Kitamura" was outstanding in this movie his dialogues and the way he was delivering them was astonishing.
Overall 6 out of 10 because i didn't like the climax & ending, it was an amateur touch in the end of the movie.

Bizarre, waste of time and space....
This is for the very first time aim giving negative review. But after watching this piece of crap my gut told me to enlighten others about this bizarre movie.
It's a human nature that whenever we start watching a movie we see that if the first 15 minutes or half hour enchant us or not if not we left that movie in between but unlike others i never do that once i start a movie i left screen only when it's finished even if it bores me to death, and something like that happen to me when i watch "The Thieves" It was totally a premeditated movie, no surprise element in it. Jung-Jae Lee is a very talented actor i've seen many other movies of him but have to say this one is worst. If you've seen lots of robbery movies like ocean series, the Italian job then this is nothing special for you.
Some good points of this movie is action and locations otherwise this was one waste of a time, usually i kept movie in my drive so that i could show it to others but unfortunately this one doesn't deserve space in my drive....

This world is a frightening place that kills our desires and innocence....
We usually don't saw these kind of films on a daily basis, and usually directors didn't make these kind of films on a daily basis.....
What a fantastic movie was Peppermint Candy, truly based on a real life, how a common person crushed by some dictators & this unpleasant society....
And in this movie innocence and desires of a common man was crushed by those kind of peoples who just love to follow hierarchy of this unpleasant society, we could even compare this man's story with our life story. In our childhood days we all aim for our future but how many of us achieve that aim...? Sometimes circumstance, sometimes our rituals, and most of times our society crushed our desires and aim.... Something like that happen to the person in this movie, his innocence and desires were killed by society.....
Apart from that direction, cast, screenplay, acting, locations, cinematography was amazing. Director Chang-dong Lee is beyond explanation all five movies directed by him should be considered as a masterpieces..... Every thing in this movie was too close to the reality, Chang-dong Lee is truly a realistic director.... So who love to live in reality must give it a try....
Failan (2001)
pure & pleasant love in this unpleasant world....
What to say about this Modern era masterpiece.... Everything in this movie was perfect casting, acting, locations, story, screenplay etc. The lead role (Min sik Choi) what an actor he is, you give him a role and he will do better from your best expectations.... And the Failan herself (Cecilia Cheung) this was my first experience with her and have to say she is quite a talented actress, look's like she was perfect for the Failan's role..... Now coming back to the movie, it is a very touchy film, a story of a pure & pleasant love in this unpleasant world, failan's love was pure through the end for his paper husband and on the other hand her husband Kangjae(Min sik Choi) also fall in love for her sweetness, kindness and purity..... As all other reviews said that you will cry while watching this drama, & have to admit that, all of them are right. It's quite a touchy movie and it'll break your heart into several pieces. Other things you will love about this movie is acting, direction, story and the farewell notes written by Failan to her husband, those notes was very very emotive.... One more thing i love about this film is that it doesn't look like fake, this whole incident could happen with anyone you, me, anyone. So a must watch movie for all.....
Rockstar (2011)
One of the Bollywood's Best....
Bollywood never usually make best movies, the usually follow others idea's or the easy way, copy from foreign cinema, but this film is something different from the typical Bollywood movie. Good foreign locations, fantastic cast and crew, marvelous acting, real struggle of life, fabulous music and the most important thing, the message that not every love story had happy ending. The one thing i love about this movie is the main lead character Ranbir Kapoor I've seen his other movies before this one, and i couldn't believe that he could act like this too. If you gonna love anything about this movie it's gonna be the Music and the acting.... So a must watch movie, if you have a good taste in foreign cinema....

It's an Art not just any Gangstar movie.... Perhaps an ASTONISHING ART
Ha-kyun Shin(The Killer) the main character and the narrator is a mute Hit-man who desperately want to speak so he was collecting money through this assassin business for his tongue surgery. The way he narrate the story was amazing. He loves only two things Bull Fighting and the sea food. There are lots of twist in this movie lots of drama and every character plays his role fabulously. Ji-hye Yun(The Girl) was outstanding. I don't want to reveal much because it will ruin the taste. One more thing we couldn't compare it with Kill Bill because that was a revenge movie & this is different. Of course highly underrated movie, must watch and enjoy the ART....
