Eternals (2021)

Didn't get a sense of actors enjoying their parts.

MCU movies the characters have different motivations but to date have been fully engaged in their parts. Didn't feel that here. With some exceptions there just seems to be a lack of energy and engagement. There are a few touching moments. Then they big dramatic scenes come across as if the actors did all their takes separately instead of reacting to each other. I was excited to see this new chapter in the verse but feel left flat by the finished product. We know several of theses actors can and have brought that energetic fighting spirit and a broader commedic talent that could easily have been balanced with the excellent physicallity. Maybe a bit to much stress was given to effects when good acting chops gets alot done.

Alienated (II) (2021)

Enjoyable and Fun

Never know for sure with an Indie yet the film was good character driven SciFi. The acting is not at the top of the field though that have it a more lifelike touch somehow. The dad's accent really hurt the ears. Gracey looks like an alien from the start.

How did we not take the cause a scream when the show was cancelled! This is a great Christmas movie. Just a pleasure to watch. The variety of song chosen! The dance numbers!! You just can't go wrong.

Cinderella (I) (2021)

High Energy Fun

Wasn't sure about another one. But this one took off and didn't look back. Great musical choices propel these version forward and the choreography is lavish and entertaining. The whole picture is bright and upbeat. Very enjoyable.

Pure Enjoyment. JCVD Pokes Fun at Himself

They say the sincerest form of flattery if imitation. We not sure the same holds true if you imitate yourself. SPOILERS !!!

This is a comedy with classic KVD fight scenes. I really enjoyed it. Jane recommended it to many others. I just wish they had done more seasons?!!! Thanks for sharing JCVD!!

Well the title says it all. I'm going to say writing vs acting. Unless they cut from the non action scenes. Those just felt flat.

Making fun of himself, got to love someone who can take his own joke. If you liked any Jean-Claude movie you will enjoy this outing. I really hope they do more.
