Shaun of the Dead (2004)
Shaun of the dead
Shaun of the dead is my favourite film. It has a variety of different tastes of drama, the way that it has a romantic side as Shaun tries to win Liz back. It also has a scary side when the zombies attack the living and try to eat them. Although these parts are a little bit gruesome, they are still amazingly funny to watch. As the film progresses Shaun knows that he has to win Liz's heart. He risks his life to try and save her, plus moaning David and happy Dianne. This film has a degree of sadness too, like when Shaun's mother is bitten and dies, or when David is maliciously eaten by a group of zombies. I would recommend this film to anyone that would wish to watch it, as it certainly lives up to it's name as a rom zom com.
Peak Practice (1993)
A fantastic drama
I think that peak practice was one of Britain's finest dramas. It simply defines the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire. When this drama was stopped, it was a great sadness for everyone that had followed it through the twelve series that had being amazingly produced. It live in Derbyshire, about two miles from where peak practice was filmed and have many memories of the fantastic story lines. In my opinion this drama will be greatly missed by people of Derbyshire and people of Britain. With any luck peak practice may begin with another series. Although there are no more signs of a new series, people who enjoy the scenery, story lines and acting will just have to tune into the repeats.
