Sommersturm (2004)
A boy coming out during a summer-camp, and all the problems that come with that...
Two best friends go on a summer-camp. One of them, Tobi is in love with his friend and cannot stand him having a girlfriend. When a gay rowing-team arrives, the storm begins...
The movie is very touching, but a bit predictable. It does succeed in showing all the factors that come in to play, when someone 'comes out'. Moreover, the characters are mostly very likable.
It's a good movie that shows you gay boys, straight boys and girls, the prejudices about gayness, and just a feel good movie in the end. A must for young people and their parents as an educational movie.
p.s. The curly boy was nice as well.
Enduring Love (2004)
Daniel Craig is not possible to save a doctor from falling down/off an air balloon. He starts questioning if he could have saved him or not.
Daniel Craig then is being stalked by a man who was on the scene of the accident as well, and his relationship suffers.
This movie was indeed unsettling, however, not in a positive fashion. The music was highly annoying, making the experience less enjoying.
Moreover, the pseudo-intellectual discussions teacher Daniel Craig had with his class were nerve-wrecking.
Good things as well though, since the stalked turns out looking for the stalker, almost missing his presence. This weird turn-around which occurred gradually made the film bearable.
On the whole, not the best movie ever seen, not the worst. But too mediocre to consider watching...when there are many better films to spend your time with.
