Terrible movie - do not waste your time
6 February 2012
Obviously the other reviews are fake. Comparing this piece of crap to other movies (not just great zombie movies but just ANY movie) is a true shame.

The acting is the worst I've ever seen, especially Sgt Cain, I hope this is his first and LAST acting job. He was truly horrible.

I respect and often like low budget movies and have no problem with some flaws but this one is a true nightmare, most irritating is the acting and the dialogs are predictable and meaningless. The story itself is slow and going nowhere. Do not waste your time!

Hope and strongly suggest the people involved in this movie find another hobby.

The Howling: Reborn (2011 Video)

Shallow
19 October 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I like the concept (myth) of werewolves and some movies showed it's possible to create an exciting and/or interesting story around them (like American Werewolf in London, Dog Soldiers and even Ginger Snaps).

Unfortunately this movie is far from interesting.

The acting is quite OK but somehow you find yourself not caring for the main characters. It's not such a big deal the special effects aren't that great but I've never 'seen' werewolves this ugly! They're just laughable.

The story is about Will and he is in fact a werewolf but doesn't know, his father prevents Will from becoming one by medication (silver nitrate - what must be poison to a normal werewolf and has no effect on a Alfawerwolf, so how is this helping him?). Somehow the father knew about his werewolf son and apparently Will never wonders why he's taking pills. The beginning of the movie is quite OK but then Will finds out he is a werewolf. He's being chased by something that growls and discovers he doesn't need his glasses anymore (so of course, then you must be a werewolf). After that everything goes further down hill. The story becomes ridiculous and overdone. The dialogs are empty, way to many plot holes, useless scenes, dumb werewolves and not a plot, just holes.

**spoilers**

The shy and nerdy Will suddenly becomes a good looking super hero, saving the world from ugly werewolves with his pretty girlfriend by his side. In 'human form' these werewolves (including many scenes) reminded me a lot of the vampires from Twilight. The intimate scenes between Will and his girlfriend are sparkless and forged. At the end there is a happy graduation party while a school kid just died, the basement is full of (some dead) bodies and the school is infested by werewolves. Nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems missing. To many plot holes and shallow scenes to count...A very bad script.

Bereavement (2010)

Huge disappointment
1 September 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Bereavement is about some crazy guy who talks to cow skulls and kidnaps young girls to torture and kill.

It's hard to like the girl, Allison, in the leading part cause her acting is so awful. That also applies for the crazy guy. The movie drags along and the scenes where the crazy guy talks to his skulls are boring and hollow.

Reactions from captured girls, including Allison, are often implausible and annoying (hardly fighting back, making extreme loud noise while trying to escape, etc). On top of that Allison is telling a young girl to stay in her room while the house is on fire. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. The makers must also believe you can create a real scary scene by making girls scream their lungs out for quite a while. Well, it's not scary, it's annoying.

Overall, lousy story, extreme bad acting, not scary and predictable. Makes me wonder who wrote all the reviews and high votes.

Just awful
30 August 2011
I love zombie movies, even the not so great ones. But this one is really JUNK.

The storyline is simple. A man and his wife get a flat tire during a zombie outbreak. The wife is attacked by a zombie and becomes one. The man survives and reaches a house where more people are hiding from the zombies. The idea is not new but could be just fine for a zombie flick.

The movie is full of clichés and the acting is so terrible it's almost hilarious. I have never seen so many actors in one movie acting this badly and every dialog is so horrible it's just painful.

Don't waste your time. Skip this one.
