Earth to Echo (2014)

This movie was awesome!

It takes a lot for me to get frustrated and write a review on IMDb, but the reviews I've seen for this movie definitely made me upset. This was a great movie and I don't understand why people see otherwise. The movie is not a rip off of ET. The only thing I could really reference was the fact that the kids rode bicycles and found a alien. Thats really not saying much considering there's so much more to the plot line.

When I first heard about Earth To Echo I was very excited to see it.Then, people started saying it wasn't all that, so I had low expectations. However I am so glad that I watched it because it was an amazing film.If anybody is having any doubts about seeing this movie, don't. Its on Netflix, just press play. If you're like me, you'll be entertained the whole way through. After its over it'll leave you with a big smile on your face. :)

Excellence at its best...why so many haters?

So I finally decided to break down and write a review for Lion King 2. I might seem like I'm ranting but I'm just so tired of people bashing this work of creation. Lion King 2 is not bad! ITS NOT! And I guess a lot of people are saying it is because they are expecting to see Lion King all over again. Well my advice to those is to hit the replay button on LK because its not happening. Sequels are not meant to be exact replicas of their predecessors. So, those who are looking for that with this movie are going to be rudely disappointed. Having that said, I think it can be agreed that LK2 brought something a little new to the table.

So first for those people complaining about the animation, it didn't suck. Either I'm blind or you are because I see the same quality animation as the first. Now I will admit LK2 wasn't as "flashy" as the original but it's not supposed to be. Its animation is more toned and a bit darker to fit the mood of the script. We can see this by just looking at Priderock , which had been shown from the other side to convey the shadowy feelings of Simba.Well since I brought that up I guess I'll start off with him first. Simba ,of course, is a big part of the movie. He is seen struggling to deal with his lingering hatred of his uncle Scar. He holds this resentment against Kovu and the Outlanders. Kiara is the daughter of King Simba making her a princess. She is strong minded and very independent. We can see this from her desire to do things herself and staying true to her heart. Bad-boy Kovu on the other hand is a lion trained by his evil mother, Zira, to befriend Kiara so that he may overthrow Simba thus, avenging Scar.

In the end Kiara and Kovu fall in love and show others that love is the most important thing above all, no matter what you look like or come from. So the two groups put an end to their bitter feud and decide to join together . They now see that there is no difference between them because they're all lions; They are one.And so the light finally shines on the other side of Priderock. The story actually gives an eye opening lesson to people. We shouldn't judge others by their race or their background. This is still an ever so prevalent issue in our society that I wish would just disappear. Well that's the lesson I got from watching this movie. It seems though that some people forgot their "Upendi" and "Hakuna Matata" back in Neverland because they're so oblivious to the fact LK2 is a stunning movie that conveys a strong message.

This movie was fantastic! Whats not to love? The animation was on key, the plot had good substance, and the characters are lovable and totally unforgettable. What more do you people want?! Not to mention the amazing song "We Are One" which makes my eyes turn into Niagara falls every time I hear it. *Sniff Sniff* (Now I miss Mufasa)...anyway. Asides from Lion King I don't think this movie could have did any better. Kudos to you Disney! Anyone who disagrees,oh well, I guess thats just you and your narrow minded opinion. #LEH

Uncle Grandpa (2010–2017)

What da fudge ? These people are high or pulled this show out the dumpster!

Where do I begin ? Okay I'll admit ,seeing previews of the shows I was kinda intrigued and wanted to see more.I wish I didn't .Its like Barney the dinosaur took a dump and Dora the explorer played in it with Boots with rainbow penguins from outer space to save kids from the Giant mutated chicken.Your face is probably like WTF?! If you look in a mirror you would find a similar expression on my face when I watched the show .

First the way the show looks is a big turn off...kinda unpleasant but that not even a major concern .Uncle Grandpas character seems like he coulda been a good character if someone actually took the time to work with the show instead of just mushing random crap together. Uncle Grandpa is a total idiot.case closed .The characters lack depth and need a better composition .Ughhh don't even get me started on the shows story line ...

After painfully watching 3 episodes I was ready to claw my eye balls out .This show is just terrible ! Were they seriously wasted when they put this show together ? The story lines are messy , odd (not good odd either more like something off/missing) And utterly stupid and random.

This show is a 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back ...

Despicable Me 2 (2013)

2 words: Awesome & Adorable!

I really loved this movie! It was hilarious and at some moments had me rolling on the floor going "No! They didn't!" I was dazzled by the first Despicable Me and I can honestly give the producer 2 thumbs up and a job well done! it's not often that you find sequels as good as it's original,But Despicable Me 2 simply blew me away!

Though the format of Despicable Me in General is more "cartoony" it's graphics is major eye candy. It's fun ,creative, and mesmerizing. The minions are just too cute! Their random moments and constant talk of gibberish adds much comedy and gives DM that "exciting glow". I really liked how they continued the plot of Gru transforming from Super villain mastermind to Super hero father.

Even though Despicable Me 2 is hilarious it has it's moments where the characters are going through something in life that's relatable to real people (younger and older).Whether it's going through first crushes, dealing with maturing kids , getting back into the dating game ,and even realizing your true love Despicable Me 2 offers the whole family a great relatable experience.

Lucy Wilde was an awesome new character to enter Despicable Me.She had a lot of spunk and a eager outgoing personality. The trio of girls Margo ,Edith ,and Agnes definitely got to show off more of who they were even though I wish they still had just a bit More depth to their characters.I was actually surprised Margo, usually the sensible one ,became love struck and lost some sensibleness upon meeting Antonio.But hey! That's how most girls are when they get their first crush: infatuated puppy love!

Although I really enjoyed this movie ,rabid purple minion creatures and all,it was kinda predictable .Most of the trailers I hate to say was a sum of the entire movie! That part was just a tad bit of a downer but I still liked Despicable Me 2 all the same.

Oh and just saying parents beware.I'm not much of a negative thinker but the part where Gru has to use his belt to find traces of the mutation formula ...um ...it kinda looked like he was humping stuff.There's some more little hoo ha's here and there but that's why it's rated PG.

I <3 this movie! Hopefully we'll be seeing a DM3 real soon!

Teen Titans Go! (2013– )

I am a total huge fan of Teen Titans (original)! I would literally sit for hours just watching episodes on the internet.I didn't just love them I was IN Love with them.The last episode that aired "Things Change" left me flabbergasted.I couldn't believe they canceled it ...I was depressed.When I heard They were coming back I was super hyped I cried tears of joy, but now as I sit here I can honestly tell you I'm weeping tears of sorrow and am now even more depressed.

Teen Titans Go! Has completely lost all the spark and originality the first Teen Titans had.I'm not even feeling the new theme song either.The original Teen Titans did have it's funny moments but this show totally blows it out of proportion! Basically all the episodes are compromised of dry "slap-stick" humor that makes me want to run in the kitchen and fetch some water. I can handle comedy but at this level it's just unbearable and ANNOYING! What happened to the cool crime fighting superheroes that could actually have serious segments ...oh yeah they're over there on the couch blowing raspberries in each other's belly buttons shouting , "MEATBAAAAAALS!!!" ...smh

The characters in the original series had depth and personality ...now? I don't even know who they are any more.Robin use to be be the brave ,independent , some what uptight leader of the group .I respected him.Now,I could just die! What did they do to him ? He's acting just as goofy and lazy as Beast Boy! Cyborg use to be soooo cool now he's just lame.Even Beast Boy ,as comedic as his character was ,is now just irritating.I understand Beast Boy is naturally a goof-ball and jester like one of the group.Honestly ,even back then he was annoying ,but very lovable which made me like him.He and his boy trio are dead to me. Starfire and Raven still have their original vibe to them but being placed in this dead plotted random overly comedic story line has suffocated them I must admit.At least I can say they're okay.

Seriously, what were the producers thinking ? I know Teen Titans Go! Would never be like the original TT ,but did they really think they could get by with feeding us this garbage? This show stinks with disappointment and in a way it's like the creators telling us to kiss their butt because they obviously don't care about their viewers. Ughhh I feel like they are mocking me as I conclude this review .This show makes me cringe but I take mercy by giving it a 2 (trust me you don't wanna know what I was really gonna rate...it would be below zero ). In reality though the show isn't utterly detestable just as I said disappointing and annoying .I guess I should change my summary from "Can I cry ?" To " When can I see my beloved babies again?"

This is not the Teen Titans I know and I will refuse to accept other wise.Right now I'll just say they're "lost at sea" I just hope they haven't drowned and are gone forever ....
