Spirituality meets environmentalists in the amazon
8 September 2019
A type of Terrence Mallick treatment of the mystery and spiritual energy as modernity collided with indigenous peoples. Throw in some Nazi South America psychology experiments. Interesting and almost enthralling. However the plot is kept off center peroby too many writers.

Impatient ending to the saga
20 May 2019
Okay it had to end, and the ending just was too predictable and trying to please all the noise. Too bad.

For all who don't know contemporary history and have an interest, Herzog's homage is perfect

Jerry Lewis rethread
5 May 2019
Used to enjoy those Jerry Lewis movies-awkward and socially unacceptable kid wins the prettiest girl. As an adult the rethreads are tired and lose their magic no matter how much Charlize saves it.

The terrible lead actor performance was only outdone by the script

Young Pope
17 January 2017
If there was some intention of being intellectually clever and insightful, this spoof of catholicism and the Pope is a helium balloon that just went out to space to never return. Probably the worse show I have yet to witness next to the Dustin Hoffman/Nick Nolte "racetrack" idiocy. My only suggestion, rip this off the HBO menu and bring us something better. There is no salvation for this show, both Jude Law and Diane Keaton portray absurd caricatures...In fact, the script seems to play on double negatives as if they will discover profound meaning. I'll bet a monkey given a typewriter and all the time in the world, will ultimately type Hamlet faster than this show will come up with some meaning.
