Perfect Little Angels (1998 TV Movie)
perfect little angels is an original
18 August 2011
Perfect Little Angels was a novel by Andrew Neiderman published in 1991. Way before Disturbing Behavior came out. The bestselling author of Playmates and Surrogate Child creates another masterpiece of horror. The teenagers of Elysian Fields are perfect. They don't drink or smoke, and they are always polite to their elders. The new girl in town hasn't learned to behave--but she will, for there are so many horribly effective ways to turn disobedient children into Perfect Angels.

Not a bad book, definitely more young adult but the movie follows it pretty well.

Disturbing Behavior is the rip off. Great Soundtrack though!!!

All in all, each movie does what it can.

It could have been better

I liked the movie. It was very predictable and a bit sappy. That I could excuse. It's just incredibly unbelievable because this movie showed Hilary Duffs lack of vocal ability. I enjoy her songs but I just think that she was not of the same caliber that anyone real teen in a performing art's school would be. Duff's precious as can be in a world where you really don't need to be able to sing well to sell a record. It would have been better if they had her dubbed over entirely as opposed to just the "high" notes she couldn't hit. Once you get past that, it's a cute movie. It has an excellent cast to sell it and does just about enough to holds one attention. I can't completely trash it because I did sit through the whole movie wondering about it's outcome.

This was a great movie that thrived on simplicity

I absolutely enjoyed this movie. In fact I think regardless of it's similarities to "The Blair Witch..."it was a better movie in comparison. Horror genre can never exceed anything more than a Boo. It's just not possible, the only way it can is if an Oscar winner and an extra hour is added to the film's length. Even then it's considered a thriller. This movie is straight forward introducing a simple plot-line that easily sucks anyone in. It's not crazy, it's a situation anyone can get into for money. 5 people coming together in an isolated area for an extended amount of time. Things happen out there. This movie follows through with a reasonable explanation at the end. Anyone who didn't like this movie just messed up guessing the killer. For once the killer is not terribly obvious! If you get it on DVD, it has up to par special features.
