The Sandman (2022)
One of the best adaptations
So well done. Small cgi hiccups here and there. Gaiman has made his first opus brilliant and accessible. Hopefully, this will continue and not get bogged down in the problems that killed American God's. Every one, complaining about (wokeness)?, Remember Neil is EP and wrote the teleplay. He also wrote the original story around 35 years ago. He has grown up and matured. He wanted to be more inclusive. Why are you su angry about it?
Paper Girls: Growing Pains (2022)
Wow!?!
Great first episode. Good acting from young, inexperienced, actors. Brian k is kind of a genius. Why didn't Amazon promote this more? The interactions of young kids from widely divergent backgrounds is pretty on point to. They know they are different and stick together. Maybe too easily, but this is what kids do.
Without Remorse (2021)
I'm with most reviewers.
It's an okay action movie. MBJ is solid as always. But there's no story or plot. Which is particularly disappointing, considering Taylor Sheridan's involvement. I read the book 20+ years ago and enjoyed it. I think it was my favorite Clancy book. The book had so much more character development in it, without the cheap pregnant wife murder. This is a disjointed review, but I'm just sad they didn't adhere to the novel's overall themes character development.
Yellowstone: New Beginnings (2019)
Weird reviews
Most reviews seem angry the show isn't some neo nazi fantasy. Despite this show's main characters being from a rich, white, billion acre land owning family. The show is good. The acting is good. The characters are all a little evil. The lack of a moral center may be the toughest thing to deal with in this show, but that's kind of what the show is. That may be why this falls somewhat sort of most of Taylor Sheridan' S other work
