Rio Diablo (1993)
Rio Diablo
Why did they bother - I have spent a better couple of hours with the toothache -
Kenny Rogers should have stuck to singing - Could it be his singing pal Dolly Parton might have brought "something" to this movie? To think I could have watched "The Simpsons" on another channel.
The Great Escape II: The Untold Story (1988)
One of the worst "Untold Stories" ever released
Why Oh Why? Do American TV and film producers continually offer such diabolical and unbelievable rubbish to the public. "GE2" not only has dreadful casting and even more dreadful acting but the story line is so far removed from anything remotely relating to the truth that one is inclined to believe the entire project was dreamed up by person or persons under the age of fourteen whose parents were probably not even alive during WWII and had no knowledge of such events to pass on.

Dikiy veter (1985)
Boring 100 minutes of cheap acting
Not a film to be remembered or recommended - more so when leading actor George Montgomery had to go out on such a turkey after a career of great films
Apache Drums (1951)
A dreadful supposed Western
One of the worst-ever western films released - Ten times worse than any Spaghetti Western - Stephen McNally just could not hold a film on his own as this film more than demonstrates - Director Hugo Fregonese had no knowledge of how to direct a western and should have stayed in Argentine - The film is not worthy of even a Second Feature. Avoid it if you care for the Western genre.
Target (2004)
Dreadful Film
One of the worst ever "action" films I have ever had the doubtful pleasure of watching. The casting director seems to have picked up passing strangers from the street to fulfil the necessary number of characters required and taught them their dialogue phonetically - Director William Webb did no favours for himself in this absolute tripe movie and should go back to serving tables in a diner. I even caught a glimpse of an "actor" who may have appeared in "Indiana Jone and the Crystal Skulls" and we all know how bad that film was.
Forty Guns (1957)
Boring Film
I cannot understand why such a fine and talented actress as Barbara Stanwyck was, she would allow herself to appear in such drivel as the film "Forty Guns". After the first five minutes, the remainder of the film was dialogue with no action and that for a Western film?
It may well be that Barbara needed the money but to have appeared in what must be considered a really dreadful film is beyond comprehension. The only commendable thing about "Forty Guns" was I managed to have an hour's nap during the time it was being shown on television. Clearly a film much more suited for a radio broadcast.
Joe l'implacabile (1967)
What a load of rubbish
"Dynamite Joe" must be the worst-ever Western film made. Albeit a Spaghetti Western it still is absolutely terrible and Sony Movies continually show this terrible film on television in the hope that viewers will think any other film on the Sony Movies Channel cannot be all bad compared to Dynamite Joe.
The Sea Wolves (1980)
Excellent Film
I love this film and watch it EVERY TIME it is shown on TV -
Plenty of action and an excellent cast bringing back the old days when film actors could act without costing the studios a fortune - Looking forward to the next time it is on TV -
Termination Point (2007)
An absolute waste of 105 minutes of my life
One of the worst films I have ever endured. Compelled by my son to watch this load of rubbish and after 30 minutes I still had no idea what was supposed to be happening and as for the acting, I believe this is something I'd prefer not to offer an opinion. An ideal film to broadcast at 4.00am when very few people would be watching television.
Sharpe: Sharpe's Justice (1997)
Dick Sharpe at his best but this time in his own country
An excellent chapter in the world of Dick Sharpe -
An indication of what the workers in the early eighteenth century had to endure -
Sharpe once more triumphs against all odds and brings yet another delightful and believable story to the screen - it is a pity Sean Bean grew out of the Sharpe role as this kind of entertainment is much missed and cannot be done half as well today.
On the Fiddle (1961)
A good English comedy
A thoroughly enjoyable English comedy but the inimitable Cecil Parker who although he saw service in WWI he forgot his training. When John LeMesurier enters the room and salutes a hatless Group Captain, Cecil returns the salute. In the British Services one salutes the uniform not the individual and as hatless, the Group Captain does not merit a salute, merely coming to attention suffices. Cecil should have known this.
The Magnificent Seven (2016)
Why did they even try to remake a real classic?
One of the worst-ever remakes. This film is a complete and utter flop. To steal the title of a classic movie then spend millions of dollars and then produce such rubbish should be a criminal offence.
Casino Royale (2006)
Bond but no entertainment
Daniel Craig has taken all the fun out of 007. I'll admit some of the earlier Bond gadgets were well OTT but that is where the fun and enjoyment lay. If you want serious then watch Shakespeare but Bond was Bond and Daniel Craig is not Bond by any stretch of the imagination. Having watched every 007 film I am still waiting to hear a good theme tune since Daniel Craig took up the reins of 007. Diamonds Are Forever, Goldfinger, For Your Eyes Only are just a few of the great tunes that came out of the 007 franchise, that stopped when Daniel Craig took over. More's the pity
Shalako (1968)
Terrible
I am old enough to remember 'Cowboy Pictures' before WWII but this must rate as the worst-ever Western foisted on the cinema-going public.
Who on Earth dreamed up the idea of a Western starring a complete English cast?
An absolute waste of time. I'll take English comedies before American comedies, but certainly not an English 'Cowboy Picture'.
It is just like having an English picture with Latin subtitles.
The Cowboys (1972)
John Ford Classic but flawed
I have watched "Fort Apache" many, many times on the big screen, television, video and DVD and have always enjoyed every moment, but no one has been able to explain how it was that the four sergeants, Mulcahy (Victor McLaglen) Quincannon (Dick Foran) Schattuck (Jack Pennick) and Beaufort (Pedro Armandaris - the one who will forever be known as the actor who committed suicide during the filming of the Bond film "From Russia With Love") - knew of the arrival of 2nd Lt. Michael Shannon O'Rourke (John Agar) yet his parents, Sgt.Maj. Michael O'Rourke (Ward Bond) and his mother, Mary O'Rourke (Irene Rich) were taken with surprise when their son arrived at Fort Apache.
In addition, there are several scenes where a young, recently married, Shirley Temple is clearly seen wearing a bra when in fact although the film is set in 1870, the brassiere was not invented until November 1914. Until then women wore a camisole of sorts which would not enhance their bust.
Knock on Any Door (1949)
A great movie
I saw the film in 1950 and today, seventy years later, can well remember Bogey's immortal line as he points at John Derek, "Knock On Any Door And You Will Find Nicky Romano!" - Brilliant - They cannot makes pictures like that any more.
Will Any Gentleman...? (1953)
Will Any Gentleman
Just another case of Hollywood pinching an idea from British comedies. Seven years after the release of "Will Any Gentleman," Hollywood come up with "The Nutty Professor". Not an exact remake but the idea is not far removed.
The Ugly Duckling (1959)
Worst-ever Hammer film
I saw this film in Eire in the early 1960s in a continuous performance and was concerned to see patrons walking out in the middle of the film.
After approximately 30 minutes watching the film I could well understand why. Bernard Bresslaw never had the talent nor the stage craft to hold a television programme, let alone a film, together and never mind a second rate film.
This film must rank as the worst ever Hammer Films effort.
Lizard Lick Towing (2011)
Lizard Lick Towing
Surely this is one of the funniest "Reality" shows to cross the big pond. Anyone who takes this seriously wants to get a life. We know it's all 'Put On' but it is still funny - When one thinks about the junk that is served up as 'Entertainment' one can easily see Lizard Lick Towing is easily divorced from current mainstream television entertainment and can be enjoyed for what it is - Pure fun and each episode can raise expectation of more fun - When are the Shirley's going to attempt a repo of a Senator's vehicle? Is there not other members of the Lizard Link Staff? Poor Ron has it all to do on his lonesome and sometimes Bobby's acting can be a little strained, but the show would be lost without the three main characters
