Certainly underrated
20 January 2016
When you see a man or a woman giving a single star out of ten to a movie, stay away from his or hers (or maybe its, you never know - some reviews could be written by bots) reviews: they are the "talibans" of IMDb. They hate or love a movie and never appreciate it with their minds for the real value it may have or not in itself. And mostly, do not trust people who use words like "turgid" in their reviews - they are pedants.

You need a soul to understand this movie and, more importantly, you have to understand how relations are (use to be): difficult, heart-consuming and, sometimes, even strange.

Brad and Angelina played well, the images from Malta were beautifully carved in stone, and yet the movie is not a memorable one. I gave it only 7 stars out of 10.

Worth watching
3 September 2015
I read a few bad reviews and I realized that they are written by people who missed the fun in this movie. Maybe because they are fans of Rogen and Hill humour, I don't know. This movie is funny, even the humour is a little bit... subtle. Too subtle for some, I suppose.

Does it worth paying 8 euros for a ticket (this is the price for a ticket in my poor eastern European country)? Maybe not. But I never watch the movies immediately after they are released, but much later, as you may notice from my so-called review (actually a short comment). So, it was worth the 2 euros what I paid for it.

I gave it 6 stars, which means "worth watching, but only once."

The movie is OK, but...

Warning: Spoilers
It fails to surprise you, at most of the times. Almost everything is predictable, including the fact that the bodies of "donors" where not clones, but real living people, with a past behind them, and their minds are somehow erased for the new occupants. The only moment that might come as a surprise is the ending. You might think that human desire for survival will beat any conscience, but Damian... Well, Damian decides to be a hero, a martyr, for the sake of another little girl who will grow fatherless, like it happened to his own. Except for this predictability, I suppose the movie is pretty decent.

A seven, in my opinion, which means: "good, but let's not watch it more then once, or maybe twice, when the years will pass by and we shall forget it."

Pardon my English, it is not my native language.
