The Last of Us (2023– )

I'm hooked!

I was hooked 5 minutes into the show. Acting is very good which I knew it would be. It's very tense and some scenes were creepy as heck. I've played the video game, but not enough to know if the show is exactly like the game. I'm sure a lot of the people who play the game hardcore will find some kind of flaws. If your like me and you don't play the game barcode then I believe you'll enjoy the show like I am.

I can't wait till episode 2. This is one of those show that I wish they would have dropped the first two episodes, but I get why they didn't. Show is definitely worth your time. Looks like HBO has done it again.

John was right when he talked about people today complaining. Just look at most of the reviews. There are so many shows that cater to the woke crowd. I watch some of them and I don't come on here and complain. I'm reminded it's just a TV show. I enjoy the show even though I don't agree with some of it politically. This episode appeals to of course those who live a similar life as the Duttons, but it also appeals to those of us who just wish we could say half the things the Duttons say without getting canceled or tweeted about.

To the reviewer who said that women couldn't fight the way Beth and Summer fought must have grown up in a weird place because I have saw some women fights that made Beth and summers fight look mild. That comment was just stupid.

Loved the family aspect of the show. Loved what Rip did because that's how things are handled. Fight until one quits then learn to respect one another.

Keep up the good work Taylor!!!

Black Adam (2022)

Everything I wanted it to be.

Great movie. I went into the movie wanting action, a little bit of comedy, and a plot that would move past this one movie. I got all three. The Rock was born for the roll of Black Adam. Aldis Hodge killed it as Hawkman. Would love to see him get his own movie. Everyone did well. Cyclone was a little weak for me but the actress did well as far as acting. The end credit scene of course was a highlight for me. Great movie. Go see it. Judge for yourself.. I think you be just as satisfied as I was. Action was exactly what I wanted. Comedy was good but not to much like Thor was. Plot was just enough to realize they are definitely doing more than one movie.

FBI: Most Wanted: Chains (2022) Season 4, Episode 5

Tough to watch but necessary

I wished there was a show that focuses only on human trafficking so it could help educate more to the evilness and depravity of human trafficking especially child trafficking. This episode is one of the hardest episodes of TV I've watched in a long time, but it was necessary. Thank you to everyone involved in making this episode possible. The makers of the show, the actors involved, the network for allowing it to air which is CBS/Paramount. This was a happy ending and sadly there aren't many happy endings in trafficking. Please let there be some producer who makes a show dedicated to stopping traffickers. I cried during and after this episode. You owe to yourself to watch.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022– )

I despise Lord of the Rings

I've watched one Lord of the Rings movie and I absolutely hated it. Some friends talked my wife and I into watching it. I watched two trees walk around talking to one another for what seemed like 5 hours. I fell asleep and when I woke up my wife looked at me and said "we have to pick new friends". Just wasn't our cup of tea. So I know NOTHING of the universe. I do love this show though. So I am just someone who knows nothing. This show is cool. You can tell the budget was very high. Great action love the leads. I just wanted to be entertained and it's accomplishing that. No, under no circumstance will I go back and watch the movies lol.

The Old Man (2022– )

Wow. 100 times better than I expected.

I went into the show with no expectations. I didn't know how Bridges would work in a show like this at 72 years old. Well I got my answer. He is amazing and so is every other actor and actress in the show. It's very well written and and very well directed. Even the dogs are top notch. Refreshing and well done FX. Can't wait for more episodes.

The Boys (2019– )

Just pure brilliant

I can not say enough about this show. It's twisted on every level. Brilliant. Sure sometimes it shocks just for the sake of shocking but that's ok. This season definitely has one part that is probably the most shocking thing I've seen in a TV show lol. I probably could of lived without seeing that but it's ok. It's the Boys so I expect to be shocked. The acting is top notch. The story of homelander story is fascinating. Each season keeps getting better.

It's been so long since I've anticipated a show dropping a new episode. Every Friday morning I wake up like a kid on Christmas and watch the new episode of The Boys.

Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)

I'm a stars wars fan & I don't get the low ratings

I'm loving everything about this series. A lot of action and I was never bored the way I was with Boba Fett and at times during the Mandalorian. Plus it has Darth Vader!!!

I've noticed something though. Me and 5 of my buddies are Star Wars fans. 4 of us love this series but one of our friends who is the biggest negative person I know hates the series. So I'm guessing maybe some of the low ratings are from guys sitting around in their yoda glow in the dark boxers eating a bowl of ewok cereal watching the TV in their moms basement lol.

Is there some flaws? Sure, but I watch TV to be entertained. Star Wars is FICTION. By some reviews you would think it's based on a true story.

Ambulance (2022)

I don't understand the negative reviews. I sat down to be entertained and at the end of the movie I was entertained. I'm just your average movie watcher so I wasn't expecting a academy award winning film. Acting was great, story was good, action was plenty, and there were some tense moments. I enjoyed the movie a lot.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

Average popcorn movie. Not horrible.

The one thing I loved about this horror movie is I actually wanted every single character to die except leather face. The older sister was dreadful. I wanted her to die in the first 10 minutes. Of course the woke demon raised its head. Don't know when Hollywood will get the clue. We watch movies to escape not hear and see what we already hear and see on the news and social media daily. Overall though it's a decent popcorn movie. Had what a horror movie is suppose to have. Kills and thrills. I will say if you like someone to cheer for outside of the killer then you'll be disappointed. They're all annoying except the richter character. So you want them to die in the worst ways possible. That's where this movie succeeds big time and why we stayed with it. It's a homely looking cast too lol.

I grew up on the original. I love this version. You have to give it a chance for what it is. It's not the original and doesn't try to be. Very good acting, real life stories, and a new spin. You have to give it a chance for what it is. It's not "the fresh prince" it's just "Bel Air". I'm invested. Love the cast.

In from the Cold (2022)

You want action, it's for you.

I wanted action. That's what I got. I wasn't looking for academy award level anything. Lead actress plays her part very well. Action is top notch. Music is not great. The rest of the acting is average to bad. Overall I love it. If you like action then this is for you. If ya need an escape then it's for you.

The Rescue (2021)

I wanted to just come to the review section to see how many people are miserable with their life lol. They are easy to spot, they normally rate true stories with courageous people around 1 or 2 stars. If you do a deep dive of their life they are the most negative humans on earth lol. This was a very good documentary about real life people doing some extraordinary things. Shows the compassionate side of humanity and how in the most chaotic times we can actually come together and do some impressive things. Give it a watch.

Station 19: A House Is Not a Home (2021) Season 5, Episode 7

Use to love this show

Use to be one of my favorite shows until Maya married the woman who just happens to be the most annoying character on T. V. I literally cringe every time she's on an episode.

Also Andy being at another house, dean dying and pru with the horrible grandparents. Show is just going off the rails.

Hope they fix it. Put Andy back at 19, and for the love of everything that good and right please get rid of maya's wife! Or at least make her less annoying, if that's possible.

CSI: Vegas (2021–2024)

Good return but....

I enjoyed the season very much, but I just couldn't get into Paula Newsome or Mandeep Dhillon's characters. I couldn't really understand Mandeep when she spoke. Paula just isn't convincing and just isn't a good a actress. Everyone else I enjoyed. Matt Lauria's character was my favorite. There's was zero and I mean zero chemistry between him and Mandeep.

Hoping it gets a season 2. If you replaced Paula, and Mandeep's characters then it would be a 8-9 rated show. Overall I enjoyed the season, the story, and the finale.

Hawkeye (2021)

Not bad. Take it for what it is.

Not bad at all. We have had three shows to prepare. My favorite has been wandavision. This one isn't bad at all. It is meant to be light and fun. It's a holiday themed show because it's the holidays duh. Anything with Renner is going to be good. People are being to hard on hailee Stenfeld. She is playing the character that was written for her. I have always enjoyed her work as an actress.

To the reviewer who said "this show is cringe". No man, your spelling is "cringe". Geez. Unacceptable with the fact iPhone can correct your spelling for you😂.

Overall watch the show for what it is. It's a marvel holiday themed action comedy. It's not the avengers. Don't expect that and you'll love it. Good show, good acting, good chemistry, and some holiday fun. Not a 10/10 but definitely not a 1/10. Anything lower than a 5 and you're probably either trolling or just hate life all together.

Yellowstone is the best show on TV and it's not even close. It's hilarious that the snowflakes rate it low. That's to be expected. They'll hate on anything that's not woke related. Just like the snowflake who said it's turning into a "hallmark show". That made me laugh out loud.

I hardly ever rate a show 10/10. Sons of anarchy was the last one I rated that high. Yellowstone is 10/10.

The show wasn't horrible which is why I gave it a 4. Here are the things I just didn't like:

1. You never saw the killer. In the movie you saw the killer. He was covered up, but in this show you just see people getting killed by a hand lol. No masked killer.

2. Kills weren't that good. Average and generic.

3. To confusing. I constantly went back to IMDB to check who was who.

My guess is this is a one season show. Watch Slasher. It's 100 times better.

The best season in a long long time

Kills me that others asked for more action and they're giving it to us and still some complain. Just enjoy it. Pope died easily because he "didn't see the enemy coming". I knew he was going to die when he said "in every war there's sacrifice". I also knew Lisa was going to run the reapers. It was all set up perfect. This season is amazing!! I think what would just be ultimate for me is if somehow Maggie and Negan end up getting all the sexual tension out of the way and hook up lol. Just enjoy the final ride. I have a feeling we are going to get a few surprises.

I'm normally hard on remakes, but CBS has actually done a very good job with Magnum. The chemistry between Jay & Perdita just keeps getting better. I also love the addition of the character Lia.

I've been watching since. Episode 1 of season 1. I haven't been disappointed yet. This season has the opportunity to be the best one yet. I can see it going a few different ways. Just like with Hawaii 5-0 CBS has done a good job with Magnum. LOVED episode 1!!

Love this show, but Dave was starting to wear on me. Starting to get on my nerves. This episode changed that. A lot of emotions in this episode. Just wanted to Dave to do something that showed a different side. This episode did just that. Also for goodness sakes can Dave get a win at some point lol.

I wasn't bored at all. I did laugh at the added profanity. You could tell it was added because Kristens mouth says something else. Very funny. It's a different show and that's what I like. Plus Herbers is awesome as always. Good start.
