9/11: Life Under Attack (2021)
Incredible documentary
This is how proper documentary should be done: no interviews, no commentaries from politicians, CIA or news anchors. It contains only raw footage filmed by New Yorkers. This film really conveys the horror and the uncertainty of the whole situation, it's certainly the best documentary about 9/11 I've ever seen.
Reminiscence (2021)
Beautiful set filled with incredibly boring characters
First of all, I should say that Lisa Joy created a whole new unique visual style that should be called something like sunsetpunk: dystopian future with beautiful urban landscape. It looks great in Westworld, it looks even better here. Unfortunately story is very generic and doesn't utilize the setting at all, I mean - such mediocre story doesn't need this beautiful set and any future technologies to be told.
Black Widow (2021)
So hilariously bad, it's almost good
It's rather funny that motion picture producers take some things literally. I mean, Black Widows aren't supposed to be black, they are Russian girls after all.
Disney diversity standards have ruined yet another movie.
The Witcher (2019)
Solid show plagued by the strive for diversity
This TV show is a mix of brilliant (Geralt, Ciri), mediocre (Yen, Jaskier) and horrible (Fringilla, Triss, Foltest) casting. Fringilla is from Toussaint, not Zerrikania, there are neither Zerrikanian elves nor Zerrikanian generals in Cintra. Triss has obviously skipped her body transformation classes in Aretuza and has been aging fast ever since. All these and many more other inaccuracies are stopping this show from being great.
Knock Knock (2015)
Perfect B-movie
This movie gets a lot of hate for no obvious reason.
I think that this is a perfect B-movie. It has simple, yet entertaining plot, not-so-bad actors, and most importantly - unconventional main idea. It's rather fun movie, yet sometimes I was genuinely terrified. This never happens when I watch low-budget jump-scare horrors.
You shouldn't expect much from this movie, but if you want to see some quality B-grade stuff, this picture is certainly worth your time.
