Visul (2023)
Stunning movie
It's exactly what cinema art should be. Guiding you through all the sentiments. It's making you lought is sensitive, making you sad, is entertaining, interesting and digusting at times. But based on an actually true storry. Actors play great. This movie should be a 9 star. Shows the hipocricy of the industry. Shows the human character. After watching is the viewer should be more empathic with thoes who are behing the bars or who are gay. It is politically correct but in the way it should be. This aspect is such a rare thing now days. It is comple and optimist in a honest way. This movie came out of nowhere with a bang. Don't miss it!
Spy/Master (2023)
The true story of Pacepa is much more impressive.
The true story of Pacepa is much more impressive. I don t understand why the director had to add a lot of non-sense when the trues story is much more impressive. I could say that other than that is a nice high budget small series to watch. The soundtrack is really good and some actors play good. But my good.. how anyone with a ID card can enter anywhere in the US embassy in Germany is truly out of this world. The costums, the cars, the decor, the collors are really awsome. I could add that there is no info about what happend afterwords. And this is very important. Pacepa give to USA not only all the agents of Romania but agents from the comunist block. This was a huge hit to the comunist world. Hundreds being arested. Only about this you could make a movie.
Dancer in the Dark (2000)
Mental illnesses should be respected and not clowning about.
Ok, this movie is about people with mental illness. Nothing less. This topic should be approach with respect, empathy and consideration towards them. But this movie is a degradation and an insult towards them. Bjork is just clowning about a tragedy. She's also acting absurdly stupid in what life throws at her. And her songs are just random words put together. There is absolutely nothing to learn from this movie and doesn't leave you more empathic either. It's worth seeing it just to test your nerves. Cringe, disgust, injustice, absurdity, very bad singing and repulsiveness. That's about it. P. S. Bad filming also.
Metronom (2022)
Good plot, interesting story, 1 unreasonable scene.
The sequel of events is interesting but there is a scene that ruins the whole movie with it's exaggeration. It's true that the Security Police (Securitate) was trying to keep the current communist regime in power with methods of terrorizing and making people denounce one, another. That's why they were paid. But the scene in which a teenager is asking for a phone call and in return he is hit by a "securitate" officer with the telephone in the headin the face of all his colleagues is really unrealistic. Yes they would've threaten and verbally harras you. But that would've been basically all in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Especially to some youngsters that were sending letters to the Europa Libera Radio Station. Violence was really unnecessary and even counterproductive. Also for a virgin as Ana is. To make sex with the boy she likes in the daytime, with his mother inside the house and leaving afterwards is also unrealistic and without any point. I feel like the movie could've been better but beating this dead horse with the Securitate and communist regime ruined it a lot.
El hoyo (2019)
This is not a 7star movie. It's a masterpiece.
This movie is about so many things in our society. It's about ppl who are good willing but they lack the doing factor. It's about the obsolete context of left-right politics. It's about the society not even imagining how hard the life of some can it be. It's about superficiality, greediness and ignorance. It tells so much with so little.
