Great Ronaldo documentary!
1 July 2014
I'm relatively new to soccer. I've been following as much as I can and I love it! I'm getting to know all about the players. So I was glad I came across this documentary. I recommend this film to all soccer fans. I really liked it. Ronaldo is not bad to look at, so I have to admit that started my fascination. But sounds like he is a very generous person at heart. And hasn't forgotten where he came from. One thing about the film that bothered me, was there were a few parts that were spoken in Spanish and I don't speak Spanish. So I felt like I missed a bit of conversations. But other than that this film was really good. I learned a lot about Ronaldo and how he came to be where he is today. And I would recommend to all soccer fans, especially Ronaldo fans.

JT: Reflections (2013 Video)

Great highlights and insights into JT's impressive career.
23 December 2013
I really liked this film because it does a great job highlighting JT's career. I love Justin Timberlake. I'm not a stalker. It is more an admiration for his talent and character. And after he appeared on SNL that made him even more likable. JT is a great singer, dancer, performer, actor and funny too. The documentary mentions how he wanted to be on SNL so he could improve his Improv skills. That was really smart. Now he hosts award shows like the ESPYs and has been on SNL several times. This documentary mentions that the demographic of the boy bands was getting older, so JT was smart enough to go solo. I just figured he was really talented and that's why his popularity grew and he sold so many albums. But what I learned during this film is it wasn't just talent, JT makes smart business decisions.

Bad Behavior (2013)
Good thriller. Lots of suspense.
23 October 2013
I like the theme of this movie. Simple babysitting job goes bad, very, very bad. This family looks normal on the outside, but they were anything but. From the beginning of the movie, you get a sense of something is not right with them. You also get an uneasy feeling about the oldest kid. So knowing that, Zoe (the babysitter)should never invite her boyfriend over while babysitting. Don't they know things always go wrong when you are making out. Even though I was waiting for something to happen, it still got me. I like that. I caught myself yelling at the characters on the screen. There is a lot of suspense throughout the movie. So if you like suspense you will like this movie.

Very inspirational.

I was deeply into this film right from the start. It showed the reality of breast cancer, but not to scare you. It was just the real stuff that goes along with it, such as hair loss, days after chemo, feelings of "is this worth it", mastectomies. But these are all part of it and we should all know about it because we all know someone going through this. It is just a better way to help someone if you know more of what they are going through. This film also shows you how courageous these women are and how strong they are. They probably didn't even realize they had this strength before this. This film shows that your life isn't over once you are diagnosed. You just live a different life, one with more challenges, new experiences and new friends.

I recommend to all One Direction fans.
15 October 2013
These guys are so talented and so cute. I haven't had a chance to make it to one of their concerts yet, but apparently they have a fan communication time where fans get to tweet at them questions and they will answer them during the concert. That is so cool. That's one of the things I heard about in this film. This is what makes One Direction such a stand out band. Music industry insiders talk about how One Direction compares to other "boy bands", past and present. Past: 98 Degrees, New Kids on the Block, Current: The Wanted. I learned a lot about One Direction while watching this film. They are so talented and genuinely kind. Kindness is also part of what makes them so huge. I recommend this film to all One Direction fans.

A very different kind of Amish story
7 October 2013
My best friend's high school son, recommended this movie to me. I was hesitant at first because he's a teenager. But I'm glad I saw it. Because who doesn't want to see crazy, scary Amish people? All I ever see of Amish people is what I've seen on the TV show "Breaking Amish". That show is good but no one on there makes me scream. This movie did. "Amy" is nothing like that show. These Amish people scared me. I liked the story, too. This Amish community is getting taken over by the devil or whatever, demonic possession. Maybe because they are being punished for their sins, sex is tempting :) Jessica DiGiovanni, who plays Amy, is really good in this role. I liked the movie and would recommend to those who like anything Amish and anything scary.
