Bad writing, predictable, slow / boring, and unrealistic.
28 August 2017
A combination of other sci-fi films all crammed into one. The action didn't come off as well as the storytellers would have hoped. It moves slow and treats the audience like they are children. The action and direction are okay; except for the completely white-washed cast. But this script is terrible. The worst part is that it took two writers to crank out this garbage.

B-Movie At Best
27 April 2009
It was well made, but clearly not worth seeing in theaters. All in all, besides a number of movies that this resembles (as you can read in the other IMDb comments), it was truly a poor case of storytelling. The dialog was very close to being on the nose allowing for the most predictable storyline and course of events. Best parts were the fighting which was filmed "O.K." and the women, a.k.a. "sex." New York felt very real throughout this movie, but with the American Gangster soundtrack being used repetitively it quickly lost it's realism. Acting was cool, but then again the characters were unbelievable and boring.

I say 4 out of 10. It could have been filmed like clover-field and still received the same rating. If the story would have been more original, then I would have said higher rating.

Oh and the "Antagonist" throughout this storyline made me laugh. My 5 year old nephew could take him down let alone our main character.

Wrongful Ratings of Good Movie.
19 October 2008
There are too many reviews, making too many decisions for the audience before they go to see it for themselves. Currently 286 people rated this movie as a 1, and 366 rated it as a 10. The 10's are trying to make up for the 1's, and the 1's didn't see the movie. This story deals with a man who never learned from his mistakes, amongst many other traits commonly found in people, hence making the President out to be a person. This bio-pic however comes too close to home. I am happy that Oliver Stone made this film (very entertaining), but when people mistake the life of W for the Real George Bush, then problems arise. It was a well done movie and for that I gave it an 8. It was not a 10, nor a 1, and in between most viewers rated it at a 7 or 8 (So that is the films rating). The characters were creepy and hilarious, the story was well paced and informative, and all in all it was worthwhile to watch.

The Never Ending Story Meets Bad Kung-fu
28 April 2008
Catered towards kids, yet I still would not recommend it for my own. Too much violence for the young ones, yet basically follows the plot line of the never ending story with better CG and bigger star power.

When it comes to kung fu I am usually easy going, but this flick has so much wire-work that it is hard to take any of it seriously.

I assume that the writer / director of this movie played too many video games before the start of production.

The worst part of this film is the "White American Kid from Chicago" who travels deep into a world of magic and swordplay, quickly revealing an extremely predictable ending.

Day of the Dead (2008 Video)
1/10
No wonder it took so long to come out!!!
20 February 2008
First off, if this movie claims to be a horror movie -- it is dead-fully wrong. It is a large combination of other movies all packed into one. Resident Evil, The Fog, AVPR, and more. I could not help but to laugh at the fully predictable "Zombie hiding locations" or the cheesy dialogue. They type casted Nick Cannon and gave him lines that 2Dimensional-ize black males within film and bring shame to their culture and use of slang. The pacing of this movie is also of in that it seems like it was shot by multiple directors and 2nd and 3rd units. The cinematography was well done, but the director's choice in using a shaky "Hills Have Eyes II" shooting style dropped the suspense factor down to zero. More importantly the zombies in this film have brought shame to all other before. They can climb up walls, on ceilings, jump 10+ feet in the air, but cannot catch our main characters when they are right next to them.

A combination of bad dialogue, super-zombies, poor direction, predictability, and stolen scenes from other movies. This movie has been one of the worst movies that I have ever seen.
