Pokémon Y (2013 Video Game)

Wow, what a great game.

Pokémon has always been a favourite of mine so when I heard that Pokémon Y was coming out, I was ecstatic. The gameplay is awesome and you can get more than 4 generations of Pokémon! It is a must have for any Pokémon fan.

The 3D graphics are awesome and it is probably the best main Pokémon game. You can see what Pokémon are doing in battle, you can battle a herd of Pokémon, and, best of all, Pikachu speaks, saying "Pika".

I hope this review has persuaded you to buy the game. It is very good and anyone with a 3DS should buy it. It is an awesome game and at the moment it is only £40. I think you should buy it!

Super Smash Bros. Melee (2001 Video Game)

Super Smash Bros.....MELEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Super Smash Bros Melee is the best fun you will have on a Gamecube. It features the best of Nintendo as playable fighters or even items and trophies. You start with characters such as Super Mario, Link, Pikachu, and of course, Ness. As I said, there are lots of items like Mr Saturn, Bob-Ombs and even the iconic hammer. You can unlock more content (like characters, trophies and stages) and is easily one of the best multiplayer experiences of ALL TIME. Even the music is memorable, and, with a fun event match mode (exclusive to Melee), what can go wrong?! You will marvel at the characters and even be shocked at what characters you can unlock! This game is easily in my top 50 of best games ever and is essential for any Nintendo fan of any age.

EarthBound (1994 Video Game)

Earthbound is a great game!!!

Released in 1995 in just Japan and America, Earthbound is a classic and it even stands up to today's games. It is pretty much the great RPG that everyone must have. It is a very smart game and has great humour. Unlike most RPGs, it is set in modern times (1990's) and instead of earning gold, you get money deposited into your bank account by your dad. Instead of swords and armour, you have baseball bats and bracelets and all the like. It has a lot of charm and any RPG will get a kick out of it. In fact, ANYONE will enjoy it. I'm glad I got introduced to Ness and the Earthbound franchise by Smash Bros. At first, I thought it would be a bad game, but I played it and it was awesome. It shows that even Nintendo's obscure side is awesome. Even better, it's now in Europe via the Wii U virtual console! This RPG is essential!

Sonic the Hedgehog CD (1992 Video Game)

Sonic CD is a good game.

Sonic CD is a clear example of classic Sonic gaming. I mean, it was so good, it was even re-released in 2011! It also marks the first appearances of well known characters like Metal Sonic. It features classic game-play and it is easy to play if you are a beginner. If you're a Sonic fan, old or new, it is essential to have this title. Even the graphics themselves, although they are old compared to today's, are beautiful and a technological achievement for 1993. The game even looks polished today and provides a good retro service. The music is very catchy. I recommend the Japanese/European track but the American one is good too. The only possibly bad thing about this game is that sometimes, especially in the special stages, it is quite hard. But other than that, Sonic CD is a great game and is an essential title for any Sonic fan.
